Textile in Italy
A�er the end of the Second World War, Italy was a country in full reconstruc�on. Textures were derived from war companies (e.g. silk fabrics for parachutes) making again precious fabrics for French high fashion houses, with customers like Dior, Givenchy, Balmain and Lanvin.
