This announcement was made by the A-Lister Kapamilya star through her Instagram account on January 6 by posting a photo of the ABS-CBN logo which held the caption of her explanation about what transpired and led her to her decision. While she confirmed rumors that she indeed had talks with TV5's Manny Pangilinan in October and then last December 23, Kris clarified that she never had talks with GMA7. "May I set the record straight? 1. I never met w/ any GMA officials but I am grateful to them for the generous coverage they gave My Little Bossings, primarily because of their longstanding partnership w/ Vic Sotto and the Eat Bulaga family," said the actress-producer. Kris then reiterated that, despite speaking with TV5, her manager Deo Endrinal had also continued negotiating with the ABS-CBN bosses during the Christmas break. According to Dawn, CharDawn fans need to be a little more patient as she waits for a different script for their iconic love team’s comeback flick. Although she saw it as a “very great story” Dawn maintained her stand on waiting for a new material. “It would have been a wonderful project. It’s a wonderful cast, a great director. In an interview last November, Richard denied speculations that Dawn turned down their supposed comeback movie. Despite this claim though, the public’s curiosity was piqued of late after a photo of the actress seemingly cozying with a foreigner, particularly a “Brazilian,” made rounds online, a subject which the actress just laughed at. “Ano ba yang Brazilian na yan? The actress relayed that she is a fan of Dyesebel herself. "Actually pinanood ko lahat sila Ms. Vilma, si Charlene (Gonzales), si Ms. Alice Dixon, si Marian (Rivera), so mapasama lang don it's an honor, it's truly an honor. Enrique Gil offers explanation on King of the Gil incident that dismayed his fans

LTHOUGH it’s been three weeks since his sold-out dance concert King of the Gil took place at the Araneta Coliseum, some fans of Enrique Gil seem to be taking quite a while to move on from it. Hordes of fans of his tandem with onscreen partner Julia Montes collectively known as JulQuens have aired their dismay over what happened in the show. Julia, unlike the other guests at the concert, unfortunately wasn’t able to even say “hi” or thank her fans after her performance, an incident which reportedly earned the ire of the JulQuen fans that trooped to the Big Dome. Knowing that many fans were disappointed, Enrique, in an interview during their grand fans day held by Cinema One and StarStudio Magazine in Trinoma on Monday, took the opportunity to finally clarify what really happened that night. “Yes, yes originally kasi ‘yung feel nung dance concert ang gusto sana namin is less talk and more of energy kasi ‘pag dance concert dapat mataas ang energy eh. Hindi siya parang comedy concert na nag-uusap, na pwedeng mag-relax. Siyempre ‘yung tao nakaupo [kaya] they need to feel ‘yung hype kahit nakaupo,” he started. “Lahat ng guests ko may time talaga na mag-spiel. fter taking part in his first Metro Manila Film Fest entry last month, Sam Milby said he was satisfied with what his movie Kimmy Dora: Ang Kiyemeng Prequel was already able to accomplish. “We’re very, very happy sa mga reviews, yung comments and the fact also na kasama sa MMFF, that’s also a big thing and it’s doing really well. Iba naman kasi, wala kaming trailers na pinakita sa TV. It’s all through word-of-mouth, through social media so the fact that we’re still in the top four, we’re very happy with that. Ito ang pinakamadaming action na ginawa ko sa kahit anong project and it was more the training sa mga action scenes,” he said. Sam said he attended public screenings of his movie just to see the reaction of his fans. “Dalawang beses ko na napan-

The cast of Pedro Calunsod Ang Batang Martir also performed a number with highlights from the movie. Robin Padilla's action film 10,000 Hours led the awards race with 13 awards including Best Picture, Best Director (Joyce Bernal), and Best Actor.
The star admitted that he hopes all the recognition that his film received can translate into box-office success as well. "Ang laban dito talagang yung ganda ng pelikula. s a triumph. Ambitious in scope, it succeeds because the team behind it is willing to go big. It is satisfying to see a Filipino movie that feels limitless in execution. Nary a thing is spared to make it: not budget, not creativity, not bravery, not over-the-top action. Starring Robin Padilla, 10,000 Hours tells the story of a policeman-turned-senator Gabriel Alcaraz. On the day that he is planning to expose a corruption case that will implicate the President of the Philippines, he is accused of murdering his former police partner. Feeling trapped, he escapes to Amsterdam to look for evidence that can prove his innocence. What’s most commendable is how 10,000 Hours chooses to tell a grand story and run away with it. Viewers may recognize that Gabriel Alcaraz’s plight closely resembles the story of Senator Panfilo Lacson, who went into hiding for 14 months after being accused of murder. But the similarity ends there—the events in 10,000 Hours are fictional, and it is noteworthy that the filmmakers went this route without worry of public backlash. It all results from a good script. The story is doled out slowly and smartly, with no tiring flashbacks or clunky expository dialogue. There are also no annoying side stories that deviate from the plot. Granted, some scenes are preposterous: for instance, there’s a chase scene in Amsterdam where the protagonists ride a slow boat along the river but the police still can’t catch them. But these are easily forgivable. Robin Padilla is on top of his
game in this action-drama movie. He is believable as a principled-butbroken politician, working only for his family and country. There’s no hint of artificiality when he espouses lines about patriotism or the love for truth, making the story all the more credible. With perfectly choreographed fight sequences, Robin is every bit an action star at 44 years old. The other members of the cast should also be commended. Mylene Dizon is stellar as usual. She plays Robin’s suffering wife, and she has an affecting breakdown scene that would probably be the basis for another acting award. Bela Padilla gives the performance of her career as Maya Limchauco, a TV journalist whowants to help Senator Alcaraz. Her character is written and acted so well that it doesn’t seem preposterous when a twist about her is revealed. Ketchup Eusebio, Maya’s assistant and cameraman, serves as the movie’s comic relief. He’s a competent actor, and it’s always a welcome relief to see him in movies. He steals all the scenes he’s in.

She continued, “After getting pneumonia, I decided to take the jump and do something new for myself.” While she didn’t reveal other details such as where and what she would be studying, KC assured that “I’m still a Kapamilya & will be back!” According to a separate Twitter post, she would be away to study during the first quarter of the year. Gretchen and JJ gave their testimonies in a closed-door hearing lately held at the Marikina Regional Trial Court for the custody battle of Claudine and Raymart's children Sabina and Santino. But there seems to be no turning back in the continuously worsening Barretto family feud as Gretchen even revealed that their very own father, Miguel Barretto threatened to kill them for siding to Raymart. LTHOUGH she has said several times in the past that she’s ready to meet her ex-husband Rustom Padilla now known as BB Gandanghari, host-actress Carmina Villaroel claimed that she realized that she was never really that ready in the past. Now though, during this Sunday’s Buzz ng Bayan episode, Carmina believes that she can go face-to-face with BB. “Before [kapag tinatanong ako], sinasagot ko oo. Pero ngayon, nung napapanood ko, parang hindi na. Wala ng parang [awkwardness]. Hindi na,” she said. Carmina’s confession came after the show aired an interview of action star Robin Padilla talking about how he mended ties with BB. “Okay naman na. Kung ano ‘yung nangyari, tapos na iyon. Hindi ko lang alam if kaya ko na bang harapin. Pero nung pinapanood ko, parang wala lang,” said she. According to the Got to Believe actress, it’s been a while since they were a couple and that she has moved on from the past.
“Parang after a while, wala na tapos na. Ang tagal tagal na. Madami pang importanteng bagay na dapat pagtuunan ng pansin,” she said. Carmina and Rustom tied the knot in 1994, but separated in 1996. Their marriage was annulled in 2002. Rustom on the other hand came out in when he returned to the country in 2009 after staying in US for so long. Should their one-on-one interview happen anytime soon, Carmina has let out one condition--that she meet BB beforehand. “Siguro mangyayari ‘yun pero gusto ko sana magkita kami na wala munang camera. Gusto ko muna makita, gusto ko talaga siya pagmasdan,” she said. After all these years of being apart, Carmina considers BB as a different person from the man that she married before. “Ang dating sa akin, iba talaga siyang tao na. Parang wala na ‘yung Rustom. Different person na,” she said. But does she think they can get along well? “Feeling ko okay kaming dalawa, jive kami. Mahirap kasi magsalita. So kapag nangyari na lang, ‘yun na,” she said. Despite their rift, international singer Charice's mother Mommy Raquel Pempengco confessed that she still wants the best for her daughter. Unfortunately though, she and Charice doesn't see eye-to-eye when it comes to the latter's current partner Alyssa Quijano. During an earlier interview with Buzz ng Bayan last year, Mommy Raquel bluntly expressed her dislike towards Alyssa as her daughter's partner. On the show's Sunday episode, though, she finally revealed the real reason why she wants Charice to find someone else. “Sinabi ko talaga 'yun, na ibang babae na lang huwag na si Alyssa. Nung time na [sumasali] pa siya sa mga singing contests, 'yung nanay niya, nagkaroon kami ng misunderstanding. Inaway ako at nakipagtalo na rin ako dahil gusto nila i-out sa ‘Little Big Star’ si Charice,” she said referring to the talent show which Charice joined in back in 2005. admitted that balancing work and motherhood is pretty tough for her. “Naku ang hirap, nahihirapan talaga ako kasi single mom ako eh, wala naman akong partner na nakatutok sa anak ko. That’s why ako, ang ginagawa ko talaga habang hindi pa siya nag-aaral dinadala ko siya sa set, kaya kumuha na lang talaga ako ng van at least hindi siya dito sa tent kasi maingay ‘yung bata. Don na lang siya manonood siya ng TV, hihiga siya don para komportable naman ‘yung anak ko,” she shared in an interview to the set of Maria Mercedes. Nonetheless, she is grateful to her family, who every now and then, help her look after her daughter. “But I am just really thankful to my family dahil nandiya-diyan sila and ‘yung mga sisters ko, laging nandiyan. Suwerte yung mga nakakatrabaho niya talaga kasi he brings out the best. Lahat ng leading lady niya nadadala niya so hindi mahirap na makatrabaho si Lloydy kasi binibigay niya yung kailangan ng leading lady niya. Madaling ma-in love sa kanya, madaling kiligin sa kanya kasi ibibigay niya sa iyo,” she admitted. After first being teamed up in Star Cinema’s My Amnesia Girl in 2010, Toni admitted it took a while for her to get

May mga bagay I’m sure ikukuwento lang niya kay Angelica (Panganiban), yung mga super personal. But we talk about life in general. Wala naman kaming problema sa personal na buhay, puro masaya lang yung pag-uusap namin, trabaho, mga common friends,” she said. Despite their growing closeness, Toni said her boyfriend Paul Soriano will have nothing to be jealous of. “Hindi naman, kasi kahit nung My Amnesia Girl.
