North America Bureau Chief Paul Henson brings us the athletes, stars and celebrities who brought Pinoy pride to the Super Bowl.

MANILA RANKED 4TH IN THE TOP TEN BEST BUDGET TRAVEL DESTINATION - FORBES MAGAZINE Metro manila is ranked 4 based on the recommendations of travel blogger. The Metro Manila entry cites recommendations from the travel community, Two Monkey Travel Group, established by Medina Umandap form the Philippines and Jonathan Howe from the UK. Alexandra Tatly, Forbes magazine contirbutor wrote "The Philippines has long been overlooked as south-east Asia Travel destination, but now it's starting to attract the attention it deserves." The Forbes listing referred to the capital city of the Philippines with several places and things to offer. The article highlighted the well known “walled city” or Intramuros which can be toured using an old-fashioned horse carriage or “calesa.”
In the Forbes article it also included other places near the Metro Manila that tourist can consider, such as Corregidor also known as the "The Rock" describe as a former World War II fortress and now a haunted ruin and a site for adventure sports like hiking, kayaking and camping. Also included on the list is Laguna were Alexandra wrote "seven lakes, underground caves, hot water and mud springs and loads of water sports." Alexandra reminded the travelers that even though other cities found in the neighboring countries of the Philippines such as Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnman are much cheaper, Manila's advantage is in terms of giving more "unique experience" and "just a
fraction of the price of traveling in the North America or Europe."

Kaya naman naitanong ko sa kanya kung anu-anong roles ang gusto pa n’yang gawin. Sabi ni Echo ay bukas s’ya sa pagawa epic hero film gaya ng Heneral Luna pero ang nais niya ay isang bayaning hindi sikat. Gusto rin umano niya ang isang fictional hero, isang pulis at muling makatambal pa ang kanyang Walang Forever leading lady na si Jennylyn Mercado.
