Philippines First Microsatellite Diwata launched to space station
Philippines First microsatellite Diwata launched to space station Diwata, the Philippines’ first microsatellite was launched last month (March 23 PH time) from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The 50-kilogram satellite was part of the payload of the Cygnus resupply cargo ship for the International Space Station (ISS), where it will stay until its deployment into space in April. When the unmanned spacecraft reaches the International Space Station, the robotic arm of the space station will grab Cygnus to unload its cargo, which in it includes the Diwata-1. WAR ON TERROR, AN IMPORTANT ISSUE FOR FIL-AM VOTERS War on terror is an important issue according to Fil-Am voters when they choose the country's next President. What do this candidates have to say on defeating this terrorist? The recent bombing in Brussels and Pakistan have shaken the 2016 presidential race. Candidates are speaking up to their stances in the fight against terror. Hilary Clinton drew from her four years as the countrys top diplomat and urged for stronger ties among the allied countrys while pushing them to do more to win the war on terror. According to her statement "It's understandable that Americans here, at home, are worried. The threat we face from terrorism is real, it's urgent, and it knows no boundaries," adding to it she said that the world would be more dangerous if Republicans win the White House. She slammed GOP presidential candidates Donald Trump and Ted Cruz for how they plan to fight terror. On the other hand, Donald Trump said he would reconsider US involvement in and expenditures to NATO, which is the headquarters in Brussels. He would potentially use nuclear weapons to stop ISIS and reemploy torture. "I think we have to change our law on you know the waterboarding thing, where they can chop off heads and they can drown people in cages and heavy steel cages and we can't waterboard. We have to change our laws, and we have to be able to
fight at least on an almost equal basis," Trump said. Ted Cruz on the other hand said that America needs to empower law enforcement to make sure Muslims communities do not become radicalized. In his statement: "We need to be using proactive policing, law enforcement and intelligence and national security resources to prevent radical terrorists to monitor, intercept, and stop radical Islamic terrorists before they carry out acts of terror." These presidential candidates may differ in their strategies to defeat war on terror but it's clear that the US needs to step up its efforts on this matter.
