THE RIGAUD FAMILY
By Greta Honsberger
The Rigaud family—Donald, Kenna, and their three boys, Hendrix, Bishop, and Zephyr—found their perfect home in the TerraBella community five years ago. Donald, from New Orleans, and Kenna, a Houston, Texas girl, stay busy with pharmaceutical sales and traveling for the many sporting events to which their three boys are dedicated. Together, they’ve built a home and life centered around their boys, community, and sports.
Hendrix, nineteen, is the oldest and a sophomore at Spring Hill College in Mobile. He plays on the men’s soccer team and is a financial economics major. When he’s not on the field or studying, Hendrix enjoys working out, traveling, and spending time with his
friends and family. Bishop, seventeen, is a senior at Mandeville High School and, like his older brother, is also passionate about soccer. He plays for both his high school team and the Louisiana Fire Soccer Club. He hopes to continue his soccer career in college. When he’s not in school and playing soccer, he enjoys lifting weights, hanging out with friends, and working at Pat Gallagher’s 527. Their youngest, Zephyr, is thirteen and in the 8th grade at Madisonville Junior High. He’s into jujitsu, going to the gym, and playing video games.
The Rigauds built their TerraBella home to meet their needs as a growing family. They love the open-concept layout, particularly the kitchen and
living room, where they spend most of their time. Donald loves to cook, and the boys enjoy watching sports, especially soccer and football, so it’s always a lively spot in the house. Whether preparing meals or cheering on their favorite teams, the Rigaud family enjoys the camaraderie in this shared space, which has become the heart of their home, with malti-poo, Brewskie and Chihuahua, Jojo making it complete.
One of the things the Rigauds love most about Terrabella is the close-knit community. The family enjoys riding their golf cart around the neighborhood and hitting up the pool, coffee shop, and restaurants. The boys like to fish in the pond, and, in true TerraBella tradition, Donald and Kenna enjoy sitting
on their front porch greeting neighbors as they pass. The neighborhood concerts and family events at the Square make it an ideal place to raise their family. Terrabella offers a perfect blend of family-friendly amenities with peaceful suburban living.
Outside of TerraBella, the Rigauds love to travel. They often visit family in Texas and enjoy spending time at their ranch. Beach trips to 30A are also a favorite family getaway. Closer to home, they enjoy weekend trips to New Orleans for good food, festivals, and Saints games. The Rigauds also enjoy staying active at Stone Creek, where Donald has recently picked up tennis. Kenna and the boys enjoy working out, swimming, and socializing with friends there.
Dining is an adventure for this family, as they enjoy exploring new restaurants; however, their go-to’s k
are Aki, Bahn Saki, Meribo, and for a delicious sandwich, Cured on Columbia. For a more upscale night out, you may find them enjoying the culinary delights of Desi Vega’s Steakhouse or Del Porto. During football season, Donald and Kenna often find themselves at the Covington Beer Garden.
The Rigaud family’s passion for sports is unquestionable, as evidenced by the focus of their three boys, who thrive in the competition. Whether cheering at soccer matches or watching football from their TerraBella home, this crew is united in their love of sports and family. Donald, Kenna, and their sons have created a great life full of activity and love with their TerraBella home as the backdrop for every moment; they wouldn’t have it any other way.
REAL ESTATE TIPS by terrabella resident
Donna Naquin
As the vibrant days of summer give way to the cool embrace of fall, it’s time to prepare your home for the changing season. Fall is a time of transition, and preparing your home can ensure it remains comfortable, energy-efficient, and ready for the colder months ahead. Here are some steps to take to prepare your home for fall.
1. INSPECT AND CLEAN YOUR HEATING SYSTEM
One of the most important tasks to prepare for fall is to ensure your heating system is working and ready to endure the season ahead. Before the cold weather sets in, have a professional inspect your furnace, heat pump, or boiler. This inspection should include checking for any leaks, cracks, or other issues that could affect the system’s efficiency. Changing the air filters is also essential to ensure your heating system runs smoothly and efficiently. A clean filter improves air quality and helps the system run more effectively, saving energy and lowering utility bills.
2. CLEAN GUTTERS AND DOWNSPOUTS
Falling leaves are a hallmark of autumn, but they can also clog gutters and downspouts, leading to potential water damage. Take the time to clean out your gutters and ensure downspouts are clear of debris. Clogged gutters can cause water to overflow and damage your roof, siding, and foundation. Ensure that water is directed away from your home to prevent water from pooling around the foundation, which can lead to basement leaks or other structural issues. Installing gutter guards is also a great idea to help keep debris out and reduce the frequency of cleaning.
3. PREPARE YOUR LAWN AND GARDEN
As you prepare your home for fall, don’t forget about your lawn and garden. Rake up fallen leaves to prevent them from suffocating your grass and creating brown patches. Fall is also the perfect time to aerate your lawn, which helps improve soil health and allows water, nutrients, and air to reach the grass roots more effectively.
4. TEST SMOKE AND CARBON MONOXIDE
With the increased use of heating systems in the fall, it’s crucial to ensure your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are in working order. Test each device and replace batteries if needed. This is also
an excellent time to review your family’s emergency plan and ensure everyone knows what to do in case of a fire or carbon monoxide leak. Safety should always be a priority when preparing your home for the season.
5. TRANSITION YOUR HOME DECOR
Finally, preparing your home for fall isn’t just about maintenance — it’s also a time to transition your décor to reflect the season’s warmth and coziness. Consider adding throws, cushions, and area rugs in rich, warm tones like burgundy, gold, and orange. Swap out lightweight summer bedding for heavier blankets or duvets to keep warm during cooler nights. Scented candles in autumnal scents like cinnamon, apple, and pumpkin spice can also help create a cozy and inviting atmosphere in your home. By taking these steps to prepare your home for fall, you can ensure it remains comfortable, energy-efficient, and safe throughout the season. Taking proactive measures now can help you avoid potential issues and allow you to enjoy the beauty and comfort of fall to the fullest.

1. WHAT IS A WILL?
Jared Miquez of Arena Collective
FOUR KEY TIPS FOR CREATING A WILL
A Will is a legal document that outlines how your assets will be distributed after you pass away. Simply put, it ensures that your belongings go to the people or causes you care about most.
2. DO I NEED A WILL?
Absolutely. Without essential Estate Planning tools like a valid Will, your loved ones may face unnecessary legal complications, expenses, and stress. Pre-planning is crucial—no need to wait for a crisis to make important decisions.
3. WHEN CAN I GET A WILL DONE & IS IT TIME-CONSUMING?
You can create a will at any time! Contact us for a complimentary consultation where we’ll go over your wishes and explain the process.
Crafting a valid will is quicker and far less stressful than you might think.
4. WHAT HAPPENS IF I DIE WITHOUT A WILL?
If you pass away without a will, you are said to die “intestate.” This means that the state’s default laws will dictate how your estate is divided—often without regard to your personal preferences or wishes.
SSA’S ATHLETIC COMPLEX UPCOMING RENOVATIONs Game-Changer for St. Svholastica AcademyStudents
In August of 2023, the St. Scholastica Academy (SSA) community embarked on a mission of urgency to transform its dated athletic complex into a state-of-the-art facility. The necessity for this renovation became apparent during the 2022-23 school year when the varsity soccer team was forced to host a playoff game at another school’s stadium due to the poor condition of SSA’s soccer fields. For Sheri Gillio, Head of School, the students not being able to play on their home turf highlighted the need to prioritize a plan for a safe and high-quality space for SSA’s student-athletes.
The original athletic complex was inspired by former SSA President Marguerite Celestine and former Athletic Director Art Lyons, who envisioned a dedicated space for students to practice and compete. After many years of relying on public facilities and laboriously coordinating with their schedule, the need for SSA to have its own athletic space was undeniable. The initial complex gave SSA its own athletic space and served its purpose well for many years. However, in recent years, the deteriorating conditions, including poor drainage and an unsafe track, have highlighted the urgent need for a significant refurbishment.
The renovation project is ambitious. Its goal is to create a top-tier athletic facility that meets the needs of SSA’s athletes and restores the school’s home-field advantage. The first phase of the renovation, developed in partnership with Greenleaf Architects and Simpson Sports Engineering, will address critical issues such as drainage, field relocation, track resurfacing, safety lighting, and parking improvements. These upgrades will benefit all SSA girls, from athletes to those participating in physical education classes and whole-school events.
Fundraising efforts to support this project have been in full swing since last August. Twenty-twenty-three’s annual fund was dedicated to the renovation, and other creative initiatives, like the “Color Clash for the Complex” peer-to-peer fundraiser, were also successfully launched. The proceeds from the upcoming “1903 Minutes of Giving” on September 4 and those from the Falaya Fling will further support the athletic project.
The SSA community has played a crucial role in the project, with generous donations from parents, alumni, and local businesses, such as Northshore Toyota, which will generously sponsor the high jump area. Further, SSA’s faculty and staff have shown their commitment by giving 100% participation and aiding to set a record for last year’s “1903 Minutes of Giving.”
It is this collective effort that is driving the project forward and making SSA’s vision of a premier athletic facility a reality, providing students with the resources they need to excel both on and off the field.
If you want to support the renovation of the SSA Athletic Complex, contact Marcy Donham, SSA’s Director of Advancement, at mdonham@ssacad.org or call 985-892-2540 ext 111

Wall-to-Wall Charm: Lively Up Spaces with Wallpaper
The popularity of wallpaper has been growing since the late 2010s. Today, wallpaper styles blend classic prints with contemporary flair, offering everything from botanical and geometric patterns to luxurious textures like grasscloth. Homeowners love how it adds depth, personality, and visual interest to their spaces. With the rise of peel-and-stick options, wallpaper is more accessible and easy to apply, making it easy to experiment with daring designs and transform any room. Remember a few good rules of thumb as you embrace this decorating trend and give your space a little extra pop.
1. Bold Prints for Statement Walls: Choose vibrant, bold patterns to create a statement wall in living rooms, bedrooms, or entryways. It’s an easy way to add personality with out overwhelming the entire space.
2. Textured Wallpapers for Depth: Opt for textured wallpapers like grasscloth or linen to add depth and a tactile element to your decor. These styles work particularly well in dining rooms or office spaces.
3. Mixing Patterns with Subtlety: If you want to mix patterns in the same room, balance bold wallpaper with more neutral or subtle decor elements to avoid clashing. Pairing busy designs with simple furniture keeps the space cohesive
4. Use Wallpaper in Unconventional Spaces: Don’t limit wallpaper to just walls—consider using it on ceilings, in alcoves, or even behind bookshelves to add an unexpected pop of design.
5. Peel-and-Stick Options for Flexibility: For a temporary or renter-friendly option, explore peel-and-stick wallpaper. It’s perfect for trying out trends without committing long-term and is easy to remove or switch up.

Gertie’s second chance:
From Shelter Dog to Fire Dog
In this issue of The TerraBella Living, we wanted to introduce you to Gertie and share her beautiful, happy ending story.
Gertie’s story began on April 23rd when the St. Tammany Parish Department of Animal Services found her walking along the road in Pearl River. She was taken to the STDAS shelter, where it was discovered that she was not chipped. As no one claimed this sweet girl, she remained in the shelter for four months; however, July 8th would be the day Gertie’s luck and life forever changed.
That day, the nine-year-old sweet and smart lab mix went with other shelter dogs to an adoption event at the Bush Fire District 9 Fire Station. As the day passed, people came in and out, and many dogs were adopted. When the event was over, the volunteers looked around and excitedly realized that every dog from the shelter had found a home except Gertie. Although it was remarkable that the other dogs had found their homes and families, it was painful to see that no one had adopted precious Gertie. When it was time for folks from the shelter to put her on the transport truck to return, Gertie turned and looked at Anne Brewer, an animal lover and shelter dog advocate who was a volunteer at the event. Her eyes were filled with sorrow at knowing where she would return. Gertie was heartbroken, but Anne didn’t take long to declare that Gertie would not be returning to the shelter that day. This lady with a heart of gold, whose husband happens to be the Fire Chief of Fire District 9, answered Gertie’s prayers.
veterinary services to military dogs, working dogs, and shelter dogs in need. At VetNaturally, Gertie received a comprehensive exam from their caring team, who assessed her needs to ensure she remains happy and healthy. Her well-being is crucial, especially in her role as a Fire Dog, where she helps keep the firefighters of FD 9 calm and uplifted while on duty. Gertie now receives regular acupuncture, shockwave and massage therapy, skin treatments, dental cleanings, and check-ups to maintain her top condition. VetNaturally has generously committed to providing these treatments for Gertie free of charge.
Now, Gertie is busy giving and getting love and attention from her coworkers at FD 9 and helping other dogs in desperate situations like hers. She recently celebrated her birthday, which was also an adoption event. She wants other dogs without homes to be able to find their families like she did.
Anne devised a brilliant idea for Gertie’s new home: the District 9 Fire Station. She presented the idea to the chief and made a strong case for Gertie. After some persuasion, they agreed—Gertie would officially become the station’s permanent resident! This idea was well-received by everyone, and on that fateful day, Gertie became Gertie the Fire Dog.
Gertie’s next stop was VetNaturally, where Dr. G. has established a program called VetNaturally Cares. As a way to give back to the community, this excellent program offers discounted
What seemed like a heartbreaking day that could have led to an equally heartbreaking life for Gertie turned out to be a day with a happy ending. Gertie’s story makes me happy for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, Gertie, who was truly down on her luck and otherwise defeated by life, was given a home with her very own people who love her. Second, this story reminds me that some people in the world have big hearts and are willing to do what’s right to make the world a better place for those in need, like our girl, Gertie the Fire Dog. Thank you, Anne Brewer and Fire District 9, for giving Gertie a home.
PET TIPs by terrabella resident
Dr. Maher With Maher Animal Hospital
IS MY DOG OLD?!
“Geriatric” is not a word any of us want to hear. Especially when it comes to the ideas of our beloved pets. Can you believe a cat is a “senior” at 11-14 and a “geriatric” at 15 +? A medium-sized dog is considered a senior at 8-9 years old, a large breed dog as early as 6-7, and a small dog is a senior at around 9-10 years old.
WHAT’S MOST IMPORTANT TO WATCH FOR AS MY PET APPROACHES THESE AGES?
It’s better to catch things quickly rather than let them slowly worsen! “I watch for drinking and urinating a lot in my old cat, Mr. Prince!” says Dr. Katie. The same goes for dogs! Pay attention to weight loss (without dieting), drinking a lot, accidents in the house becoming more frequent, and not finishing food like they used to.
The good news is that when you see these symptoms, simple in-house bloodwork will give you same-day results, putting your mind at ease and catching the early stages of many diseases, making it easier to turn around.
Call us anytime to set up “geriatric bloodwork” and a good thorough physical exam!

E.J. Fielding funeral home
Business Spotlight
E.J. Fielding Funeral Home has graciously served families in Covington since 1992; however, the Fielding family has been rooted in the funeral industry for over 150 years, when 16-year-old carriage driver and cabinetmaker Jacob Schoen arrived in New Orleans from Germany. Jacob soon began using his skills to build coffins and transport them in carriages when New Orleans was hit with yellow fever. This marked the beginning of the Schoen/Fielding family’s 150-year legacy of supporting families in honoring and celebrating the lives of their loved ones.
In 1972, Eddie Fielding, a licensed funeral director and the great-great-grandson of Jacob Schoen, founded Cemetery Services, Inc., a business dedicated to assisting cemeteries with mapping, maintenance, and monument work. His collaboration with the owners of Pinecrest Memorial Gardens led to the opportunity to purchase the cemetery in 1979.
After the Schoen family sold their five funeral locations in 1986, Eddie Fielding lll, with the guidance of his father E.J. Fielding Jr., and support of family and community, opened E.J. Fielding Funeral Home in 1992. His sister, Kathy Fielding Smith, joined as a funeral director, helping Eddie manage the funeral home alongside his son, father, and uncle.
Today, E.J. Fielding Funeral Home has grown to
employ over 40 full- and part-time staff members. Both Eddie and his sister Kathy are now semi-retired, with Eddie continuing as CEO and funeral director, while Kathy manages public relations. Sixth-generation Benji Fielding, now serving as COO, continues the traditions Jacob Schoen started so long ago.
Those deeply rooted traditions include their mission to guide individuals through the final stages of life and support their families as they navigate the planning and grieving process. The E.J. Fielding staff also encourages families to reflect on their loved ones by celebrating their achievements and cherishing shared memories.
E.J. Fielding’s long history of experience providing compassionate guidance and personalized services sets it apart, as it emphasizes that everything a bereft family may need is in one place. With a commitment to the community, its goal is to create a service as unique as the individual being honored, ensuring each funeral reflects the family’s wishes. E.J. Fielding Funeral Home remains a pillar of compassion and dedication, honoring long-time traditions while providing personalized care to families during their most difficult times.
Dining with Brad Ferrand
You don’t have to cross the Causeway to find incredible food. Here on the Northshore, we are blessed with an amazing culinary scene. Whether looking for something casual or upscale, many options will satisfy your dining expectations. The variety of dining options continues to grow, and so does the sophistication of palates of Northshore residents. Three local restaurants in the area have stepped to the forefront to serve fresh and memorable fare to all willing to eward themselves with a fantastic culinary adventure. Local restaurants such as Tavi, Papillon’s, and Bon Sake each provide memorable dining experiences and are true gifts to our area. We will explore each restaurant and provide our recommendations and experiences for each.
Our first stop takes us to Tavi. Located at 330 N. New Hampshire St. in the heart of downtown Covington, Tavi serves up amazingly bold Israeli, North African, Greek, and Middle Eastern-inspired dishes seven days a week for lunch and dinner. Opened by local chef John Besh, Tavi is a welcomed gem in the rapidly expanding downtown Covington area. Executive Chef Fariz Choumali offers inspired dishes that harken back to his childhood. Chef Fariz’s main goal is to serve customers food from his heart, reminiscent of the food his mother, Haifa, prepared for him as a child. The dishes at Tavi showcase bold Middle Eastern flavors combined with fresh, locally sourced Louisiana ingredients. Most of the dishes at Tavi are designed to be shared, which is what we prefer since it allows the diner to taste the many diverse and flavorful offerings. When you first sit down, the temptation of all temptations arrives at your table: the homemade pita bread. Born and raised in Tavi’s wood-fired oven, the pita bread arrives warm, succulent, and ready to fill your grumbling belly. Not to be outdone, Tavi offers an array of hummus options, some of the most popular items on the menu. You can’t go wrong with Tavi’s famous fried chicken or wild mushroom hummus. We got both, and we were happy we did. Other popular menu items include the Baba Ganoush, Suzuki flatbread with Armenian-spiced meat, tomatoes, mozzarella, and pomegranate molasses, crispy halloumi cheese, slow-cooked lamb shank, and the home-style chicken leg and thigh.
Tavi’s
Fried Chicken Hummus
Chef Fariz came to our table when we sat down and said, “Let’s have some fun.” That was an understatement. We embarked on a culinary adventure that was one of the most memorable we have ever experienced. Chef Fariz was showing off this night, and he offered food from his childhood and demonstrated his passion and true love of cooking. We feasted on Baba Ganoush, fried chicken hummus, fresh Israeli salad with cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onions, Bulgarian feta cheese with a preserved lemon vinaigrette, Gulf shrimp kebab, and the flatbread. The homage to his childhood is found in the chicken leg and thigh dish. Chef Fariz takes great pride in this particular dish because he said it reminds him of a traditional Sunday meal from his childhood. The chicken is roasted and served with aromatic rice, charred green onions, pistachio, pecans, and tzatziki. Like all of the dishes at Tavi, this is a symphony of harmonic flavors flowing from taste buds to energized taste buds. Don’t sleep on the desserts, either. Our favorite was the Ghazel Banat – an orange blossom gelato with pistachios and cotton candy for the win! The entire night was a win. Chef Fariz and Brand Director Maria Zissis are definitely on to something. Tavi also offers a lively bar with several unique and creative cocktails you can’t find anywhere else. Take it from us - run, don’t walk to Tavi. An experience like no other, Chef Fariz succeeds in creating a fun, communal dining experience sure to bring you and the ones closest to you even closer over such an amazing meal.
Tavi’s Flatbread Tavi’s Lamb Shank
Our next stop took us to a memorable experience at Papillon’s. This fine-dining Italian and French cuisine restaurant is nestled in the heart of old Mandeville along the trace at 690 Lafitte St. Papillon’s is led by chef/ owner Papillon Anderson and his wife, Lauren. Papillon’s improves upon the legacy left by the former tenant of the property, Gio Vancheri, with its homemade Sicilian and French-inspired dishes. Papillon’s overall ambiance is perfect for a romantic date night, a special occasion, or simply a night out with friends. Its dimly lit dining room offers a cozy, intimate space to enjoy your meal.
We arrived early and grabbed a drink in the bar below the restaurant. It was such a cool and fun spot to soak up a cocktail before moving upstairs to the main dining room. Upon entering the dining room, we were welcomed by our friendly server and soon found ourselves immersed in the cocktails and wine menu. Following a delicious Prosecco and a glass of Caymus, we were ready to explore the menu. Papillon’s offers traditional and home-style favorites such as Spaghetti Bolognese, Lobster Ravioli, Duck Confit, and a 14 oz. Veal Chop. We wanted to experience a little bit of France and Italy, so we started with a fresh and delicious beet salad and the Burrata served with pesto and ciabatta crostini. These mouthwatering appetizers were the perfect balance of savory and fresh. The journey continued with our entrees. We ordered the hearty Osso Bucco, which featured a slow-cooked bone-in veal shank served over risotto, and the Eggplant Fiore, which consisted of thinly sliced eggplant pan-fried and a homemade succulent marinara sauce.
We felt like we were in the old country with each bite. The Osso Bucco veal shank fell off the bone, and the eggplant melted in our mouths. We could tell Chef Papillon truly cares about his food, ingredients, and, most importantly, customers. Papillon’s was packed when we dined on a recent rainy Friday night; it was no surprise. Papillon’s serves up fresh ingredients, offers a fantastic menu of dishes, and treats its diners with first-class service you would expect from a restaurant of its caliber. This recipe is perfect for a successful restaurant and a memorable dining experience. We recommend you give Papillon’s a try if you haven’t already. Chef Papillon and his staff will gladly treat you to a memorable and delicious meal. Papillon’s is open for dinner Wednesday through Saturday and offers takeout lunch featuring paninis, salads, and pasta Monday through Friday.
Papillon’s Eggplant and Fettucine
Bon Sake Salmon Sashimi with Foie Gras
Bon Sake Blue Crab Ragoon
Our final stop takes us to arguably the best sushi restaurant on the Northshore. Bon Sake has taken the Northshore sushi scene by storm with its amazingly fresh ingredients and innovative sushi creations. Located in downtown Covington at 528 North Columbia Street, Bon Sake is the sushi restaurant our area deserves. This charming restaurant has quickly become a local favorite for its delicious cuisine, friendly atmosphere, and commitment to quality. Serving up unmistakably fresh, high-end sushi (we got to see a 200-pound bluefin tuna being delivered to the kitchen during our tour), Bon Sake delivers quality and quantity with each dish. This isn’t your father’s sushi restaurant. Chef Rodney Bonsack, formerly of Rock n Sake, took his talents to the Northshore and has created an innovative and bold menu that celebrates its dishes as edible art and promises to present to its diners the most “beautiful and delicious sushi you’ve ever enjoyed.”
We were treated to a delicious snow crab salad, Surf and Turf roll featuring seared beef, cream cheese, jalapeño, green onion, ponzu, eel sauce, and voodoo sauce, the Wolverine Roll featuring nori, fresh tuna, tempura shrimp, jalapeño, cream cheese, habanero tobiko, honey, ponzu, voodoo sauce, and spicy sesame oil. These rolls pack a flavor punch and do not apologize. What an explosion of flavors! Other menu favorites include the ever-popular salmon sashimi with foie gras, featuring a truffle, honey, and soy garlic oil you will want to drink through a straw, nigiri flight featuring a chef’s choice of hand-selected fish, and numerous small plates featuring the best Brussel sprouts you’ve ever had and blue crab rangoons.
Bon Sake is committed to providing its customers with the highest quality food and service. The restaurant uses only the freshest ingredients and sources seafood from reputable suppliers. The friendly and attentive staff ensures every guest has a memorable dining experience. Bon Sake has quickly become a local favorite for its delicious food, friendly atmosphere, and commitment to quality. was a loving sign because those friends had her best interest at heart.
With aspirations of attending LSU, where she’ll be reunited with her brother, Lawrence, Lizzy is excited to explore her passions as she considers if she will go the nursing route, or follow her heart and teach in early childhood education. Finding inspiration in her grandma Susu and her mom Robyn, Lizzy knows that their love and support have shaped her into who she is today. Recognizing that her time living at home is limited, she is making the most of her senior year and family time. She is cherishing family moments that she might otherwise take for granted, such as weekly Sunday Mass, followed by family brunches at Coffee Rani. She is also focusing on nurturing her bond with her sister Sarah, who is her best friend.
As Lizzy makes her way through her senior year, she is embracing the adventures that await her beyond high school, knowing that the loving foundation given to her by her parents, Robyn and Brett, will take her wherever she chooses to go.
NEW HEIGHTS THERAPY
Hosts Elegant Nature through Art Gala
New Heights Therapy hosted its fundraising gala, “Nature through Art,” on July 26th at The Greenwood on the Southern Hotel Property in Covington. It was a spectacular event to remember, with the works of renowned artists Adrien Broom and Rebecca Rebouche. Their art, inspired by the elements Earth, Fire, Air, and Water, set the tone for a stunning evening.
Guests embraced the theme with elaborate, elementinspired attire, making the event feel like a Met Gala of the
local art scene. A gourmet dinner, silent auction, and live performances added to the magic of the night.
This year’s event raised significant funds for New Heights Therapy, supporting their mission to provide transformative equine-assisted services to Veterans, First Responders, and others facing emotional, physical, and cognitive challenges. It was a night where art, nature, and community came together to change lives.
