JULICA CAVE FOR TREASURER BIOGRAPHY Hello Everyone! My name is Julica Cave and I am campaigning to be elected as the 2015 JCI Treasurer. I have only been in the organization for a few months but I have been enjoying my time and cannot wait to see what else is in store for me. I am twenty years old turning twenty-one on 29th of November. This is my final year at the University Of West Indies Cave Hill Campus where I am currently studying to be an Accountant by pursuing a BSc. In Accounting and Finance. In pursuing my career choice, I am working part-time at Massy United Insurance in the finance department and my next step is to do ACCA or CPA. I am also a graduate of the Ursuline Convent and Harrison College. I have participated in different activities such as dancing, singing, cast of Pantomine 2007 and music which I have grade 8 in clarinet. I have been very active in church such as counsellor at the summer camp, member of the junior choir and youth group. I have volunteered by visited the children’s ward at the hospital, Children development Centre and Nursing homes and Auntie Olga Fun Run in 2009. I love to spend time with my friends, travel, shop, help others and explore new things. JCI JOURNEY My journey at JCI began as a participant for Project ME: Mission Empowerment. I attended the workshop in October and through that I found that this was a very interesting organization. I expressed my interest to President Abena and VP Internal Khaleid where I was given information on how to join. I did some research and from that I was sure that I wanted to be part of this organization so I completed training and the next assembly I was inducted as a New Member. I have been an active member since then by volunteering at Special Day for Special Children event and I am on the committee for Global Entrepreneurship Week event “Living the Lifestyle”.

JCI TREASURER WHAT IT MEANS TO ME‌‌ I have been treasurer twice in my lifetime for Peace Ambassadors and for my church Youth Group. This has been little experience compared to what is required for JCI Treasurer and I am prepared to learn and do what is required as treasurer for JCI. Not only would I have responsibilities as Treasurer but also for being on the Board which would make me even more confident with myself in terms of public speaking. As being a member and participating in training, my confidence is growing and I am learning new things.
