and activities ranging from physical competitions to beautification projects to “random acts of neighborliness.” After the Olympics end on Aug. 31, the points will be tallied and the top three neighborhoods will be presented with gold, silver and bronze awards at a ceremony Sept. 20. The winning teams also will receive cash prizes of $1,000, $500 and $250, respectively, to be used for neighborhood programs. The purpose of the Neighborhood Olympics is to
