Hollywood residents to host lemonade stand to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer
The Alvarez family will host their 7th Annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand as part of the National Lemonade Days fundraiser on Saturday, June 8 from 9a.m. to 4 p.m. at 725 N. Rainbow Dr. The Alvarez family got involved with the Foundation in 2007 after the young daughter of friends died of a form of leukemia. About 2 years after she died, those very same friends welcomed a little boy. He is almost 5 years old now, and this spring, he, too, was diagnosed with leukemia. The stand has become an annual event, but now the girls are trying to spread the word anew and afar. As in years past, the girls are hoping to garner product donations, and have special visitors to their stand. Among those who have visited in the past – the local fire department and ambulance drivers, as well as supporters of the battle against childhood cancer who have found the event through the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation website. The girls hope to raise more money this year than in years past and hope to help doctors on their way to a cure. Founded by Alex Scott (1996-2004)
in 2004, Lemonade Days is a three day national event that grew out of Alex’s front yard lemonade stand, and is held every year over the same June weekend. During Lemonade Days, dedicated volunteers host thousands of Alex’s Lemonade Stands across the country, raising over $1 million for childhood cancer research in one weekend. June 2013 will mark the 10th Annual Lemonade Days with an estimated 10,000 volunteers
at over 2,000 Alex’s Lemonade Stands around the nation making a difference for children with cancer. Lemonade Days 2013 is set for June 7, 8 and 9. New this year, chefs and moms Melissa d’Arabian and Alex Guarnaschelli will lend their support to the effort by providing kid-friendly recipes and tips to volunteers who sign up to host a lemonade stand during the three day fundraising initiative.

CasaBlanca Academy offers $10K scholarship Applications due June 17 Opening it’s doors in Hollywood in 2008, CasaBlanca Academy offers a developmentally-based approach to address the difficulties faced by children with sensory processing difficulties and difficulties in communicating and relating to others. Each year, CasaBlanca Academy works to raise funds for their scholarship program to assist a student with the tuition. The scholarship fund will offer one student a partial scholarship of $10,000 per year for a minimum of one year. CasaBlanca Academy offers parents who are considering private school for their children with autism and other developmental challenges an educational setting that previously did not exist in Broward County. CasaBlanca Academy's tuition is $36,000 for the ten-month school program. School hours are from 8:45am-3:00pm, and before-school and after-school programming are additional costs not included in the scholarship program. CasaBlanca Academy does not provide transportation services, nor any food services at school. Parents are responsible
for picking up and dropping off students during the designated times, and sending their children in with snacks and lunch daily. The scholarship may be renewed annually, depending on the availability of funds, and the family's successful adherence to the CasaBlanca Academy protocols and requirements as well as active participation in school functions. CasaBlanca does accept the McKay Scholarship towards the tuition total. The scholarship recipient is still responsible for monthly payments for the difference between scholarship funds and the tuition total. The selection criteria for the CasaBlanca Academy scholarship is based
on developmental appropriateness for the school setting and financial need. Full time attendance and active family participation are among requirements to maintain the scholarship. The mission of CasaBlanca Academy is to provide a developmentally based program for children on the autism spectrum and with similar disorders using a unique learning environment, therapeutic interventions, relationship building skills and educational strategies necessary for students to attain their full promise. Applications are available on the CasaBlanca Academy website at www. casablancaacademy.org. Please complete both applications (student application and tuition assistance application) in full and submit to Lizzie Bicknell, VP of Administration and Development, at the following address: Lizzie Bicknell CasaBlanca Academy 400 North 35th Avenue Hollywood, FL 33021 lizzie@casablancaacademy.org Applications are due June 17, 2013. The recipient of the CasaBlanca Academy scholarship will be notified by July 1, 2013. For more information about CasaBlanca Academy, call (954) 415-1149.

Discover Hollywood’s historical landmarks on a self-guided ‘Historical Hollywood Walking Tour’ The Beach Tour features 14 points of interest:
The Downtown Tour includes 12 points of interest:
• 811 S. Surf Road, designed by Miami architect Henry Hohauser in 1938 to resemble a grand yacht
• The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood at 1650 Harrison St., originally a mansion built in 1924 that later became a funeral home
• The Southwinds Apartments at 347-49 Madison St., a U-shaped structure built in 1926
In 1924, the Young Company built a printing plant for its Hollywood Publishing Company. When the Charter was adopted creating Hollywood as a city on November 28, 1925, a city hall was required. The old publishing building, not occupied at the time was given to the new city by J.W. Young to become Hollywood's first City Hall and the Police Department. For several decades it was Hemingway Restaurant. The larger half on the north side is a later addition. The property, located at 219 N 21st Avenue is recognized as historic with a bronze plaque by the Hollywood Historical Society. By Caron Conway Discover Hollywood’s fascinating past on self-guided walking tours that spotlight several historic homes and buildings in the beach and downtown areas, and learn about their origins with an informative brochure on “Walking Tours of Historic Hollywood By the Sea.” Presented by the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class 37, Historic Hollywood Walking Tours was introduced at a reception May 14 at the ArtsPark at Young Circle. The tours and brochure were created by Leadership Hollywood graduates Jose Basulto, Alex Bruno, Cindy Goldberg, Eduardo Mendoza-Gayle, Bonita Para, Erin Scissors, Martin Shuham and Marc Wexler, with the assistance of the Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and the Hollywood Historical Society. Notable Florida historian, author and Hollywood native Dr. Joan
Mickelson served as project consultant. Hollywood, originally named “Hollywood by the Sea,” traces its roots to 1920, when founder Joseph W. Young envisioned a city distinguished by a broad, main boulevard intersected by three circles. Several decades later, Hollywood boasts numerous examples of its architectural heritage that includes “Tropical Modern,” or Art Deco, Streamline/Moderne and Spanish Mission Revival styles. Tour brochures are available at the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce / Community Redevelopment Agency Office and ArtsPark. Built in 1924, the Great Southern Hotel at 1800 Hollywood Boulevard was designed by Martin L. Hampton for J.W. Young. The one hundred room hotel and ballroom cost over a half million dollars to build. A true Hollywood landmark, the structure sits shuttered today; restoration has thus far proven elusive. The building appears at the end of the 1969 film Midnight Cowboy. It was also recognized as historic with a bronze plaque by the Hollywood Historical Society and was included on the National Register of Historic Places as part of Hollywood’s downtown, from 21st to 18th Avenues.

DOWNTOWN BUSINESS
Health-conscious “disposable” nail salon Esmalte now open in Downtown Hollywood Esmalte, a new nail salon in Downtown Hollywood, offers a full range of services at affordable prices and with an emphasis on safe disposable salon practices. Owner-operator Leslie Linares opened Esmalte, which translates to “nail polish” in Spanish, May 28 at 118 S. 20th Ave., between Hollywood Boulevard and Harrison Street. Services include manicures, pedicures, acrylic nails, gels, nail extensions, custom nail art and facial waxing. A spa treatment room is opening soon for massages and anti-aging facials utilizing a line of organic skin care products created by Linares that will be available for purchase. A nail technician for more than 20 years, Linares is keenly aware of the risk of nail and skin infections associated with reusing whirlpool footbath water and cuticle sticks. “Our services are completely disposable, so there’s no chance of infection,” said Linares, who uses easily disinfected stainless steel bowls for manicures and non-recycled plastic liners
and water in her pedicure tubs. Esmalte specializes in pedicures for the elderly, diabetics and cancer patients. Esmalte’s low prices also set it apart from the competition. Manicures are $12 and pedicures are $22. “Business is good,” said Linares, whose customer base extends as far as Weston and Miami and includes pro football players and other celebrity clients. A Newark, NJ, native who moved to South Florida in 2003 for a change of climate and a “fresh start,” Linares said she loves her new business location in Downtown Hollywood. “It’s an area that’s growing, that’s changing, and it’s a really special place,” she said. “It’s trendy but it’s bohemian at the same time. I like that.” Esmalte’s hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. The salon is closed Sunday and Monday. For more information, call 754-400-8699, or visit www. esmaltenails.com or the Esmalte page on Facebook.
‘Made from the Heart with Love’ offers unique local creations in Downtown Hollywood A group of local artists, artisans and craftsmen are sharing their creations with the community at Made from the Heart with Love, a unique co-op venture that opened May 4 in Downtown Hollywood. Made from the Heart with Love, located at 117 S. 21st Avenue between Hollywood Boulevard and Harrison Street, showcases a myriad of eco-friendly, handcrafted products from 14 different artists, artisans and craftsmen, including original works of art and unique “upcycled” gifts. But unlike an arts and crafts fair or indoor flea market, Made from the Heart with Love sports an open floor plan without booths, where complementary wares from different merchants are displayed together in a 1,200-square-foot space. “We’re all members of the same group. We’re all working for and with each other. It’s all about helping people,” said Made from the Heart president Jeannie Moon, an award-winning poet and artist who signed the lease in March with property owner John DeMarco II of 115 Holdings, Inc. One objective of the new venture is to be the “go-to store” for the community when it comes to unique gifts. Currently on display are hand-painted furniture and glassware, jewelry, bottle lamps, handmade clothing and hand-painted T-shirts, quilted items, handmade paper wall art, garden art, clay gifts, organic soaps and eco-friendly candles. Many of the wares are upcycled, or repurposed. “It has to do with helping the
planet,” Moon said. “It’s amazing how much gets thrown out that can be reused.” Customers have responded favorably to the “funky” offerings at Made from the Heart with Love, Moon said. “They’ve said how wonderful they think this is and how much the community needs this. They’re just kind of awestruck. This is a different kind of store.” Moon said she and her fellow associates share the same vision “to grow and to help more people in the community, the wonderfully talented people who find it cost-prohibitive to go into business alone.” Rental space is available for additional associates. “As we grow, I plan to help out non-profit organizations,” said Moon, who oversaw a similar, non-profit enterprise in her native England before relocating to the United States in 1997. She said the historic downtown arts, music and entertainment district is a natural fit for her new venture. “Downtown Hollywood does seem to be the place where most things are happening. The area is expanding, new businesses are opening and more and more people are coming,” Moon said. “What we offer mixes in very well with the people, lifestyle and events, especially the monthly ArtWalk.” Made from the Heart with Love is open from noon to 8 p.m. daily. For more information, call 754-400-8369 or visit the Made from the Heart with Love page on Facebook.

West Hollywood Reading and Speech Center closes after 37 years Hollywood-based Alpha Omega Reading and Speech Center will be closing it’s doors after 37 years on June Esposito 1st. In January of 1976, Frank Esposito opened the first center in the city of Miramar and moved to its current and final location in West Hollywood by 1985. With the closing of the center, Frank Esposito’s son, Jonathan Esposito, shares his Father’s Day wish for a happy and healthy retirement to his father, after almost four decades of service. “At the age of 72, my Dad is finally ready to retire and close the doors to his legacy,” said Jonathan Esposito. “For me personally, it will be a bitter sweet ending. Over the years, I have seen my Dad truly embody the spirit of being a teacher. The mom and pop essence of the center kept the business not just afloat, but smooth sailing into its final sunset.” The Alpha Omega Reading and Speech Center is located at 7111 Taft St. For more information, call (954) 962-8148.

SMASH Beauty Lounge offers unique cosmetic experience in Downtown Hollywood
Grand Opening set for June 6 So much more than a makeup and skincare store, SMASH Beauty Lounge in Downtown Hollywood provides a unique, customized cosmetic experience for women of all ages who want to learn how to put their best face forward. “My mission is to create a comfortable, warm and homey environment where women can shop and learn and become educated about what’s right for them,” said makeup artist and licensed aesthetician Sally Portillo, who opened SMASH Beauty Lounge March 10 at 2029 Hollywood Boulevard. “I want women to feel comfortable and be able to ask questions. Makeup counters in department stores can be very intimidating.” SMASH Beauty Lounge carries a variety of high-end products at competitive prices, such as bareMinerals | Bare Escentuals, Mario Badescu Skin Care, Stila Cosmetics, Dermalogica and theBalm. Natural and organic offerings are available, as well as skincare products for men. “I’ve cherry-picked products that I’m passionate about and that I know are effective,” Portillo said. “And nothing in my shop is animal-tested.” A wide array of services at affordable prices are offered, including makeup application, facials for women and men, facial waxing, eyelash and brow tinting, airbrush tanning, and private or special group lessons on makeup application techniques for teenagers and adults. SMASH Beauty Lounge features a huge treatment room and a private beauty studio. Special events can be arranged, with catering available, such as Ladies Night Out, bachelorette parties and Sweet 16 celebrations. The store also carries a selection of unique gifts that include Voluspa soy candles, organic soaps, jewelry, trinket boxes, handbags, wraps, and bath and body products. What sets SMASH Beauty Lounge apart from other beauty businesses is Portillo’s passion for educating her clients on ways to enhance their natural beauty.
“I want to give women the tools to create an everyday look that takes 15 minutes or a more dramatic look for night,” said Portillo, who traveled extensively, including internationally, teaching for major beauty brands for 15 years. “Everything is customized based on the individual client’s needs.” A 13-year resident of Hollywood, Portillo didn’t have to look very far for the right location for her business. “I fell in love with Hollywood. It is a cool and eclectic city,” said the Seattle native. “I frequent Downtown Hollywood. It spoke to me.” SMASH Beauty Lounge’s grand opening is planned for Thurs., June 6. Store hours are noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and by appointment only on Sunday and Monday. Firsttime customers who check-in on Facebook while in the store will receive a complimentary eyeshadow. Also, be sure to ask about the rewards program for repeat customers. For more information, call 954-9231132, or visit www.smashbeautylounge.com or the SMASH Beauty Lounge page on Facebook.
‘Transparency in Animal Shelter Act’ law goes into effect July 1 The State of Florida has recently passed the “Transparency in Animal Shelter Act,” which will make the public aware of the exact date that an animal is going to be put down. The intention of the law is to dramatically increase the number of shelter adoptions and lives saved. The law goes into effect July 1, 2013, and requires all animal shelters and animal control agencies to keep records of the dogs, cats and other animals that come into a shelter, along with their condition and how long they can be held. Dogs and cats will also have records
of what manner they left the shelter or animal control agency. The records must be kept on a monthly basis, starting with the first day and ending with the last day of the month. They must be signed by the director of the shelter and be made available to the public five business days after the end of the month. There is a trend toward shelter transparency and reform across America and Florida is leading the way toward humane outcomes for impounded animals.

After 39 meetings and hundreds of hours in the Commission Chambers, the City of Hollywood Mayor and Commission approved the Amended Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort Development Agreement and Ground Lease. The approval came after a 4 hour commission and CRA meeting with a favorable supermajority vote of 6-1. The only dissenting vote coming from commissioner Peter Hernandez. After many many meetings and delays and discussions the 96 page contract will be approved and the project will move forward. The city staff, along with the development team presented a lengthy proposal to the city which explained the project in detail and the recent changes that were made last week. Some highlights from the presentation include: City Manager Cathy Swanson-Rivenbark presented some bullet points for the bottom line: July 2010 developer has been paying city $20000/month $610,000 to date. Once they take possession it becomes taxable. Developer spent $7.5 million to date. 1.2 million to be paid in city permits State of the art turtle solutions (amber lights will shift with moon, tides and lights using special computer system) Impacts to the local economy 500 construction jobs 350 permanent jobs 3000 indirect / direct jobs Margaritaville effect – property values and property interest in the surrounding areas Activation of Intracoastal – docks,
restaurant, no jet skis, kayaking and non motorized boats 600 public parking spaces. Most of the public comments were positive in support of the project. Sylvia Berman from Post Haste Travel mentioned that if the city does not take this deal, they will be hard pressed to find any other corporation or company to want to invest in Hollywood. Several other members of the community echoed this concern. Jeff Mikus – Member of the Hollywood Beach Business Association Board of Directors stated that, “The HBBA enthusiastically supports this project.” Mayor Peter Bober has supported this project since the beginning. He is interested in this because of the money. “This is a business opportunity” Commissioner Kevin Biederman expressed concerns about the way that the transaction rent is calculated. He also asked if the name is set as “Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort”. The concern was that Hollywood needs to be branded and should have an emphasis, suggesting something along the lines of “Hollywood Margaritaville Beach Resort”. The developer responded that name research was done many months ago, and that the best possible option for marketing the brand, the amenities and the location has been selected. There was much other discussion throughout the nearly 4 hours but in the end the project will proceed forward.

2013 “Spirit of Healing” Awards Honor Healthcare Advocates
Award Winners: Dr. Philip Glogover, Justine Selzer (accepting on behalf of Shirley Dietrich), Gerald J. Lavandosky, MD, Sara Wolfer, Frederick Keroff, MD and Mark J. Gordon Six extraordinary individuals in the community, including two Hollywood residents, were honored by Memorial and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundations with the Spirit of Healing Award and the Wasie Philanthropic Leadership Award during the annual Circle of Friends Luncheon held at The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa. This year’s Spirit of Healing Honorees included: Shirley Dietrich, Sara E. Wolfer, Dr. Philip Glogover, Fred Keroff, MD, FACEP, Gerald J. Lavandosky, MD and the 2013 Wasie Philanthropic Leadership Award Honoree, Mark J. Gordon. The awards recognize accomplishments and distinction within individual professions, contributions to the community, and a commitment to the Memorial Healthcare System. Shirley Dietrich, a longtime Hollywood resident and activist was honored posthumously and awarded the Spirit of Healing Award. Justine Selzer accepted the award on her behalf. A South Floridian since the early 1960s, Dietrich was a tireless activist, lending her time and energies to improving the health and lives of the people of South Broward. She had a remarkable 22-year career with the City of Hollywood Police Department, first as a dispatcher and then as a crime prevention officer – earning the attorney general’s Crime Prevention Officer of the Year Award. She was a founding member and past president of Seniors and Law Enforcement Working Together which aids senior victims of crime and fraud. For many years she was also a valued member of Hollywood’s Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Advisory Board, a dedicated supporter of the Kiwanis Club of Hollywood and served on the Coalition
for a Healthy South Broward, receiving the Coalition’s Lifetime Achievement Award for her dedication to the health of the community. Dietrich left behind a lasting legacy. The question that has always guided Hollywood resident Sara “Sally” Wolfer has been “How best can I serve?” She has been a nurse, a nun, a hospital administrator, a distinguished member of the Board of Commissioners – and, for many years a firm friend to Memorial Healthcare System and the entire South Broward community. Since 2004, Ms. Wolfer has served on the Board of Commissioners of the South Broward Hospital District, chaired numerous committees. A proud former Memorial employee, she was Assistant and Associate Administrator of Patient Care Services at Memorial Regional Hospital from 1977 to 1994. During that time, she also served as an adjunct professor of hospital administration at Barry University. From there, she served the Broward Regional Health Planning Council for 12 years as the Planner for Alcohol, Drug Abuse and Mental Health for the Department of Children and Families. The word “retire” is not in her vocabulary. In addition to her continuing service on the Board of Commissioners, Ms. Wolfer is an active member and lay minister of Hollywood’s Little Flower Catholic Church, working tirelessly to assist the needy, the less fortunate, and the un- and underinsured of Broward County. Hollywood attorney gets case overturned by Supreme Court After three years of litigation, Hollywood attorney Angel Arias’s immigration case has recently been overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court reuniting a Georgia man with his family. During a 2007 traffic Angel Arias stop, police found 1.3 grams of marijuana, the equivalent of about two or three marijuana cigarettes, in the vehicle of Adrian Moncrieffe, a Jamaican citizen who came to the United States legally in 1984. Moncrieffe faced deportation after being convicted under Georgia law for

possession with intent to distribute. The Federal Government sought to deport Moncrieffe, alleging that this Georgia conviction constituted an aggravated felony. On April 23, 2013, the Supreme Court of the United States decided the case of Moncrieffe v. Holder, in favor of Arias’ client when it reversed and remanded the case back to the 5th Circuit. By a vote of seven to two, the Court held that if a noncitizen’s conviction for a marijuana distribution offense fails to establish that the offense involved either remuneration or more than a small amount of marijuana, it is not an aggravated felony under the Immigration and Nationality Act.

HEALTH & WELLNESS
Is Your Body ‘Beach Ready’? For those of you who don’t know much, if anything, about CrossFit, it’s a training methodology that is defined as constantly varied, high intensity, Shondelle Solomon-Miles functional training. In plain English it’s a HARD CORE workout that will get you in the best shape of your life. Anyone CAN do CrossFit but it’s definitely not for everyone. It is NOT easy, but most things that yield the best results, rarely are. Still, I find myself having this conversation with myself during most of my workouts: ‘Shondelle, what the heck is wrong with you? Why do you continue to voluntarily put yourself through this degree of discomfort? This SUCKS!!! Is this worth it? Have you lost your mind?” I’m not exaggerating; I literally have this conversation with myself at least three times a week. However, ALWAYS when it is all over, I am already looking forward to the next workout, so that I can do it all over again! Some could call it masochistic and others would call it just ‘plain ole’ insane. However, I call it riding the ‘Swing of Life’. Here’s how I can explain it. Think of a child on a playground swing. Does she have more fun when sitting motionless on the swing or when she’s given a hard push into the air? Of course, she’s safer and perhaps more ‘comfortable’ if the swing is not moving, but she’s definitely having more fun and adventure flying into the air! And typically, the harder the push, the more fun the ride! Life is like this swing.
It must be moving, in one direction or another, or it’s just not that fun. When you increase the swing, you increase the momentum, and consequently, you increase the thrill. If you don’t want to swing very high, you just won’t have as much fun. Yes, you may be more ‘comfortable’ and less fearful, but you’re also missing out on the point of getting on a swing…to have a good time! So the answer to myself as to why I continue to endure the pain and ‘suck factor’ of my Crossfit workouts: It is because at the end of the workout, the thrill, the adventure, and the feelings of accomplishment and overcoming, far outweigh the discomfort I endure during the workout. And it’s THAT feeling that makes the doing worthwhile. There is a quote that sums this up perfectly: “The harder the struggle, the greater the triumph”. Truer words have never been spoken. I challenge you today, to find an aspect of your life where you’re sitting motionless on the ‘swing of life’ and give yourself a push. It could be your relationship, your career or perhaps your health and fitness; any part of your life which is stagnant and needs some MOMENTUM! In the beginning, it may take a while to get your ‘swing’ going, and you may need to come outside of your comfort zone and experience a little ‘pain’ and fear in the process, but I PROMISE you, in the end, your effort will yield great reward! Shondelle Solomon-Miles is the Head Fitness coach and owner of Synergize Home of CrossFit 954. To schedule a FREE one-on-one consultation with Shondelle visit www. CrossFit954.com

Orangetheory Fitness to celebrate grand opening June 6 America’s best one-hour workout program, Orangetheory Fitness, will soon open its doors in Hollywood, Florida. With a blend of treadmills, rowing machines, TRX suspension training and free weights, Orangetheory Fitness Hollywood will offer a fast-paced, high-energy group exercise experience unlike any other fitness club in Hollywood. But perhaps the best aspect of the Orangetheory Fitness workout is what happens after. The studio’s revolutionary mix of interval workouts prompts the fat burning process to continue for up to 36 hours post-workout. The physiology behind Orangetheory Fitness is known as excess post-exercise oxygen consumption, or EPOC. During the course of a 60-minute session, members perform short interval workouts designed to engage the entire body, keep heart rates elevated and stimulate metabolism. The result, which they have coined the Orange Effect, translates into more energy, a quickly toned physique and extra calories burned for as long as 36 hours after a workout. Because workout sessions are done in groups, each session is very affordable. The first session is always free. After that, attendees at the Hollywood fitness studio can purchase packages for as little as $59 per month, with no joining fee and no contracts. All Orangetheory Fitness memberships include personal training sessions specifically designed for each individual.
The Orangetheory Fitness Hollywood studio will be located at 3251 Hollywood Boulevard, #470 Hollywood, FL 33021. The Hollywood fitness studio will operate weekdays from 5:30 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. to noon. The grand opening will be celebrated on June 6th with a small reception and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. “Hollywood was an excellent choice for our fitness studio,” explains Kim Wedderburn, Orangetheory Fitness Hollywood studio owner. “We’re thrilled to introduce the community to our concept and welcome everyone who may be interested in joining our fitness center and reaping the benefits of the Orange Effect.” For a limited time during the pregrand opening period, Orangetheory Fitness Hollywood studio will be offering discounted gym membership rates. This is a perfect opportunity for Hollywood residents to take advantage of the lowest membership rates and save as much as $40 per month off regularly priced Orangetheory fitness membership plans. Orangetheory Fitness is not just reaching out to Hollywood’s residential residents, but to its commercial residents, as well. The fitness studio has joined the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and is looking forward to participating in Chamber events and meeting fellow Hollywood small business owners.
