2nd Life Sustainability Problem: To design something, anything that is recycled and could have another life in the shape of a package itself and or a product. Process: My process involved recycled shopping bags being fused together by ironing them and duct tape as a substitute for sewing. Solution: I decided to design a messenger bag that would be unisex out of fully recyclable materials so the life of the product would not be wasteful.

TED Talk Magazine Problem: To successfully design a magazine spread layout based off a featured speaker and his lecture. Process: My process involved tons of research on my speaker and research on grid structures. Solution: The final product came out to be a simple and clean grid structure to compliment my speakers profession and content of his lecture.

Cross Cultural Product Problem: To take two cultures and design a product to be marketed in one country with the influence of the other. Process: The cultures I chose were Vietnam and the Philippines. I then dove into research to figure out a good product to market. Solution: My final product was the coffee from Vietnam to be marketed in the Philippines. There is a process and system of its own to make the coffee itself.

Photography In photography I am faced with many different problems in many different situations. I do all types of photography from portraiture all the way to experimental independent studies. My process for the most part very similar for any project or job I get. It starts with in-depth research that leads to actual sketches. I get very excited after every shoot and rush home to process.

Children’s Vitamins Problem: To create labels for a series of natural vitamins or supplements. Process: My process always involves the proper research and mostly for this project I more or less dug deeper into the active ingredient that are in common children vitamins today. Solution: I decided to go with children’s vitamins because I personally am against the way most of children vitamins are marketed today. I wanted something clean, and not cartoony at all.
