My

mom inspires me in life and in music; Musically from a baby my mom told me before I could talk I was singing Minnie Rippleton & Chaka Khan. So she played some great music while I was in her womb. My whole family has been touched by music in some kind of way, we've been doing family shows at our family reunions & gatherings for years. Music keeps us close and my mom nurtured me as I was preparing to share my music with the world. In life my mom has passed down her wisdom and some great values that I apply in my life today. Life is too short as we all know but I was a teen I was a handfull to say the least. My mom would always say Toi use your powers for good and I really never knew what she meant. My power of attracting people to know me, the power I have with my gift of writing and connecting the people to me through music. She taught me the importance of good customer service from her 30 plus years from working for the phone company. I've made a great turn around from the advice and love from my mother she's a very special lady. We talk about everything from decorating, to relationships good & bad, money, my future and that's what I've learned too; is although she's a wife, a mother times 6 plenty of grandchildren, an 84 year old mother, 7 sibblings and a host of nieces and nephews she still has enough uncondtional love to give us individually. That's why I'm so special look at my mom... Love

Ms.Toi

My grandma is my biggest motivation for working as hard as I do. She has always pushed me to do what God put me here to do. Just seeing her wake up early and go to work and come home and stay up late to make sure all of her kids and grand kids had everything they needed. I just wanna return the favor, and give her everything she wants. My mother has always been strong raising three kids on her own. I can admit I wasn't always the easiest to deal with but she made sure I stayed focus on everything I had to get done to stay out of trouble being raised in Flint, MI. Over all the time ups and down of our relationship she has never have up on me and I don't know where I would be if she had.

enee Faye Rachal-Ashlock was a Mother of four boys. She raised all of us including all my cousins. She was the "Main Link" in the family chain. She inspired me to be the best that I can be at what ever I do. She inspired me to be intelligent and wise like her. She was loving but get no mistake,"She wouldn't take shit from nobody." It was all about respect no matter the age or class they are in. You respected them as a human being. She inspired me to go to college and play football and get decent grades. Momz was a "True Soldier." She taught us how to survive in the trenches of life. How to sacrifice for the greater good. How to in her words "Always Find The Positive In Every Negative Situation." Even though all is boys had different fathers, she never kept us from them. She always told us to be proud of our dads because at one point in time they loved each other and you are a breathing part of him. She taught us the good always "Wins" in the "End." My mom passed away from complications of Lupus. She fought the terrible disease for 12 years. God called upon her in August of 2005. Ever since she's left,it's like she has never left. She watches over her "Boys" and

her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters. She taught everybody how to "Be Accountable For Your Own Actions" "Don't Do Nothing You Can't Stand Up and Face or Get Yourself Out Of. Because In The End, It All Comes Down To You. you Have To Suffer The Consequences and Ante Up to The Judgement." I Love

You and Miss You Much Momma. I'm keeping my promise and I hear you every morning during Xen time.

Happy Mother’s day
