STEAMing ahead at first Greenpower race car event

Congratulations to our Greenpower race car team – Mattice (8GMM), Mikhail (9SRP), Romir (9WA), William (7JHA), Sulayman (9SRP), Ania (7CCG), Adam (7CJC), Shayan (7JEB) and Niam (7CJC) on the successful build of their car and participation in their very first race, which took place at Mallory Park Races.

The team has shown incredible enthusiasm and teamwork in the design and build of their car – and a 10th place finish out of 28 teams is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to their incredible engineering skills.

This has been another great STEAM opportunity for our pupils made possible by the generosity of Lyonian Association’s 1876 Fund. n
