Enrichment Day at John Lyon Senior for Quainton Hall Prep pupils

On Wednesday 14th June, we hosted Year 5 students from our Quainton Hall Prep at John Lyon Senior for their second Enrichment Day of the academic year.

Pupils embraced the day wholeheartedly, engaging in stimulating Mathematics, French and Drama-related activities. Members of the Head Boy Team also provided them with the opportunity to explore on a guided tour of the senior school site.

It was wonderful to welcome a good number of Year 5 parents at the end of the day for a series of short talks and a Q&A, along with tea and delicious cakes!

The pupils met two Old Quaintonian Year 8s during the day – Dhyan (8ADH) and Rehan (8ADH), and it was fitting too that Ayokanmi (L6RSK), an Old Quaintonian in Lower Sixth now, could meet the parents as part of the session.

We hope the Year 5s left inspired and that they are looking forward to their final Enrichment Day in the autumn. n
