A Wicked trip for our GCSE musicians
Year 11 students had a valuable learning experience that greatly benefitted their GCSE Music coursework during their trip to see the popular musical, Wicked, in London’s West End. Designed specifically for our GCSE Music students, the outing deepened their appreciation for musical productions and inspired them with new and exciting ideas to incorporate into their coursework.
“We embarked on a magical trip to the Apollo Victoria for the captivating show, Wicked. During the interval, curiosity led us beneath the stage to the pit, where we had the privilege of conversing with a talented guitarist. He kindly shared his passion for music and demonstrated the intricacies of his collection of instruments, each of which emitted a unique charm. This encounter deepened our appreciation for music’s role in the performance, leaving a lasting impression.”
