Swimming and water polo

It is an exciting time for our swimmers with record numbers of pupils attending extra-curricular elite and swim development sessions.

Thirty pupils recently participated in the Harrow Swimming Gala and out of six schools, the Year 7 girls and boys were placed second overall, while the Year 8 girls came in third. The boys from Years 8, 9 and 10 won most of their individual and relay races, coming first overall – an outstanding effort from all our swimmers!

In water polo, the junior team have put their practice into action this term, playing their first fixture against Latymer in an extremely competitive game. n

Badminton

Our U16 Badminton team continued in fine form, beating Whitgift B and Wilson’s to set up a final against Whitgift A during May half term. We eventually finished as runners up; a fantastic achievement given this was our first outing in a competition for teams from across the South East and London. n
