Shining in Gymnastics

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Sport Scholar Lena (7CJC) for her remarkable achievements in the field of gymnastics.

Lena’s journey of success began earlier this year at the prestigious Elegance Cup held in Paris. Her extraordinary talent shone brightly as she secured an impressive tally of two gold medals and two silver medals. Undeterred by the challenge, she continued to excel at the Home Nations competition in Cardiff, where her exceptional individual performance on the floor earned her a silver medal. Furthermore, Lena’s performance in the team event played a crucial role in the overall success of the team, resulting in their well-deserved achievement of two gold medals.

Adding to her growing list of accolades, Lena recently emerged victorious in the English Championships, solidifying her position as a top contender in the sport.

We wish her continued success in her future endeavours in the sport. n

It has been wonderful to meet OLs who have taken the time to visit the School to reminisce and share their experiences.

During their visits, OLs have shared their stories of School life and it has been exciting for many of them to see the changes in buildings and environment as well as our pupils’ excellent work – in STEAM, in sport and right across the curriculum.

This is our second merged edition of news from The Lyonian and The Standard. This publication aims to reflect even more fully the vast range of interests, skills and activities that our School community enjoys and already we have had a very positive response from our OL readers.
