Tell us what you love about LA! How do you spend your weekend?

For me, open-mindedness is very liberating, so what I love most about LA is definitely its diversity and unique culture of acceptance — no matter who you are or what you look like. My favorite spots are Koreatown and Downtown Los Angeles, because of all the great food. On the weekends, I like to have brunch at the beach, go shopping, play with my dogs Oreo and Mickey, watch movies while eating junk food, and play video games ( I love Final Fantasy).
That is a tough question since I can be very versatile in my fashion sense. Since I was in a rock band for a few years, I think I am most comfortable in edgy fashion. I feel that edgy fashion is strong and can present a powerful statement. I actually shop anywhere from department stores to online stores. A few of my favorite stores and brands are Bershka (I really wish it was available in the U.S.!), ZARA, AllSaints, Kate Spade, Stylenanda, Nasty Gal, boohoo, and Irregular Choice.

What made you start your SNS? What is the most enjoyable part ? I first started my SNS while I was in the band. The original reason I started it was for us to connect with fans, but then it turned into a fashion, beauty, and lifestyle platform. The best part about it is that you get to connect directly with others and meet people who have the same interests. Also, you learn so much from SNS because it’s always changing and up to date. Do you have a favorite phrase? “You look good, you feel good.” This is my personal phrase that I would tell people while I was in school. This phrase is not about conceit, but more about taking the time to be presentable in order to feel more confident in what you do throughout the day.

What are your goals in life? My goals in life are to work hard, give my best effort, be strong and independent, and simply be a good person.

皆がオープンで自由なところ。ダイバーシティで色々な文化を受け 入れているところがLAの一番良いところだと思います。LAで特にお 気に入りの場所は、ご飯が美味しいコリアタウンとダウンタウン。 週末にはビーチでブランチしたり、買い物したり、愛犬のオレオと ミッキーと遊んだり、ジャンクフードを食べながら映画を見たり、 ゲームをしたりします。（ファイナルファンタジーが大好き。）
色々なファッションにトライするのが私のスタイルなのでこの質問 は難しい！でも以前ロックバンドのメンバーとして活動していたの でエッジの効いた服を着ている時が一番落ち着くかも。エッジィな ファッションは強くてパワフルなイメージを与えられると思いま す。普段はデパートからオンラインまで、どこでもお買い物しちゃ います。お気に入りのブランドはBershka（アメリカでも買えたらい いのに！）、ZARA、AllSaints、Kate Spade、Stylenanda、Nasty Gal、boohoo、Irregular Choiceです。
バンド活動をしていた時にSNSを始めました。最初の理由はファンと繋 がるためでしたが、だんだんと自分のファッションや美容、ライフス タイルを発信する場に変わっていきました。SNSの良いところは沢山の 人達と繋がれたり、興味が同じ人達と出会えるところ。そして常に新 しい話題に溢れていて、学ぶことも沢山あります。
“You look good, you feel good .”これは自分が学生だった頃から 周囲に伝えていた言葉。うぬぼれとかではなくて、日々自分のしてい ることに自信を持って生きるためのおまじないのような言葉です。
シンプルですが、常に全力で物事に取り組むこと。そして強くて自立 した善良な人間でいることです。

Ami: I like it so much that I want to live in LA! Yumi: LA was a place I considered studying English when I wanted to study overseas. That’s how much I like LA.

3. What do you like about LA? Ami: The people and the city—they’re both bright and not everyone is too serious. Yumi: It’s not too densely populated and it feels good driving around. 4. How was the US tour? Ami: Even though it has been 10 years since we last performed, I was happy that so many people came to see us. It made us realize PUFFY does need the US tours! Yumi: Since it has been long time since our last tour, I was anxious to know what kind of crowd it was going to be, but everything turned out great and we all had fun! I know for a fact that for the next show we don’t want to wait another 10 years. 5. What are your recent hobbies/interests? Ami: K-POP! Yumi: Cleaning out my room and getting rid of what I don’t need. 6. Any message for those pursuing their dreams overseas? Ami: Wherever you are, I think it matters to continue what you do to make your dreams come true. However I also think it’s important to give something up to move on to your next step. Yumi: Even to this day I spend tough times learning and regretting. But that makes me sad sometimes so I spoil myself, which I don’t think is too bad of an idea. I hope you all take it easy sometime, too.

そして、パフィーにはやっぱりアメリカツアーが必要 だなと気が引き締まりました！ 由美 : かなり久しぶりだったのでどんな方が足を運 んでくれるのかな？と内心ドキドキしてました。次は １０年もあけずにまたライブしたいなと思いました。 とても楽しかったです。
