Part I

Unit III: Daily Routine

Months and Seasons

Alright, so in this part we had to take all the months and seasons and make a sentence that has to do with what you do in that season or month. The seasons were easy, but the months took a while seeing as how I don’t really what else I do but eat and sleep. It was kind of nice going through all the months and trying to think of what I do or at least what I’d like to do during that time of the year. Doing the seasons was ok seeing as how each one had a simple answer. In the winter it’s cold so I just typed that I wear coats and warm clothing.

Part II

Unit III: Daily Routine

At the Recreation Center

Ok, this part was a bit more difficult seeing as how I had no idea how to make a layout for a recreation center. Every time I looked up how to make one, it kept telling me to download a certain program and I didn’t want that. I just wanted a simple way to do it. It was frustrating and a waste of time, seeing as how it was due the day after. I finally found a website to make one and it came out ok. Sure, the images kept moving out of place and deleting themselves for no apparent reason, but it wasn’t too bad. This portfolio reminded me when I volunteered at a recreation center for community center for school. I came in I think every Saturday in the afternoon and came home at night. I never did much; just get things they asked for and help watch the kids that went in to play.

Part III

Unit V: Likes and Dislikes

Likes & Dislikes

In part three we had to list our likes and dislikes and then put an image for each like/dislike. It was fun, the picture of the girl eating jalapeños kept making me laugh every time I saw it. Wasn’t that hard, it’s just what you like and dislike. I guess dislikes was a bit harder. I didn’t know what disliked since I’m pretty much ok with a lot of things. All in all this was easy to do for anyone really. Not so much for the people who still struggle with English. I still have unfair advantage against most of the others, but at least I try to help them out.

Part IV

Unit V: Likes and Dislikes

Can/Can’t

In this last part we listed things that we can and can’t do. I got kind of lazy and started putting obvious things for both lists. For likes I put down that I can breathe and that I can see, and for dislikes I put down more obvious things like the fact that I can’t become a fish or that I can’t live forever. This is the last part and, well, I didn’t really learn much. I just saw things I already knew. I admit I got bored most of the time, but I still tried to make an effort into giving attention and helping everyone else. The next school year will probably be the same, so I have to get used to this eventually. It was a fun year and I enjoyed some of the things that I did during my time in Foreign Language. I hope it’ll be just as fun. Maybe I’ll be more helpful when giving people advice on what to do.
