Board of Directors Election and Town Hall Forum By Kirk Wooldridge, General Manager FOR THE 2020–2022 BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTION, there are four board positions up for election. For this election we have fourteen candidates running on the ballot and they are: Kelci Binau, Albert Chandler, Pat Disney, John Eshelman, Bonnie Halleran, Michael Keller, Keiron McCammon, Robert Meyers, Dave Peterson, Steve Shepherd, Rich Walton, Bryan Welsh, Ken Williams, and Peter Wolcott. As of July 23rd, 2020 the following Board of Directors Candidates have rescinded their self-nomination for the 2020 Board of Directors—Annual Election: Stuart Roberson and Kelly Shanahan.

On July 23rd, 2020, the Tahoe Keys Property Owners Association (TKPOA) held a ‘Meet the Candidates’ Town Hall Forum online via Gotomeeting from 5:00 pm– 9:00 pm. We are pleased to report that we had over 60 interested property owners in attendance. Please explain your perspective of the rights and responsibilities of full time residents versus part time residents. Do you believe that all property owners should have the same water quality fees? There are members that do not have lake access and others that do. Should these people pay the same for water quality? Will you support the people of South Lake Tahoe to ban VHRs after 2021 as stipulated by Measure T? Do you think the current vacation rental permit fees (for TKPOA) are to high, to low, or about right? What are your top two actions you want to take to minimize milfoil (aquatic invasive weeds)?
