Depending on the species, some tadpoles can remain in their tadpole stage for as long as 8 months. Others only take 6 to 9 weeks.

Frogs have teeth on their upper jaw. They use them to keep their prey in place until they can swallow it. They also use their eyes to help them swallow. Their eyes retract into their head and help push the food down their throat. Amazing!

The 'croak' is unique to its species and some frog calls can be heard up to a mile away! Males use their croak to attract females.
