GOD WANTS TO
A Word of Encouragement FOR 2013 from DR. JAMES MAROCCO
E
ach year I believe for a Word from the Lord for the year. Last year God gave us a Word, the word was ‘increase’ taken from Psalm 115:915. I believed that it was a prophetic word. That word is still at work right now here among God’s people. “May the Lord make you increase both you and your children. May you be blessed by the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Literally in 2012 we saw that word come into being. We increased in our staff and in facilities. A number of our congregations grew. One congregation grew from six people to nearly a hundred. But one of the most amazing things that happened in spite of the economy was that God allowed our church to increase in resources. A million more dollars came into this church this last year than it did the year before. In fact this is the first time in a long time that our church closed the year in the black. The word “Increase” began to materialize physically in the lives of God’s people. WHAT IS THE WORD OF THE LORD FOR THIS YEAR? God wants to Show up and Show off! God showed up and showed off in delivering Israel from Egypt’s bondage. He called Moses at the burning bush in Exodus 3. He demonstrated His power through the plagues that had hit Egypt: the blood, the frogs, the gnats, the flies, the plague on the livestock, the boils, the hail, the locusts, the darkness and finally the death of the first born. But not only that, He parted the Red Sea and destroyed Pharaoh’s army. And He demonstrated His care for His people as He led them through the wilderness and providing for them. He turned bitter water sweet at Mara. He fed them with manna and quail, and gave them water from a rock at Rephidim. He defeated the Amalekites. He showed up and He showed off. Then He brings them to Sinai where this story takes place, it is the place of revelation. God shows off His power in Exodus 19:16-19, with thunder, lightning, loud trumpets and smoke billowed off of the mountain. The Voice of the Lord answered Moses and the whole mountain shook with His power. You will notice the same thing happening in Chapter 20:18-20 when God gave the Ten Commandments. When the people saw the
thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke they trembled with fear. God showed up and showed off. From chapters 19-34 Moses goes up the mountain seven times to meet with God. It is here at Mount Sinai that the Children of Israel make a covenant with God. In fact in Chapter 24 Moses, Aaron, Aaron’s two sons, and the seventy Elders of Israel go up the mountain and actually eat with God. A covenant was being made. In the ancient times when a covenant was made between a sovereign and his people, like the Hittites Covenants we have discovered in historical texts, to seal the covenant they would eat together. This covenant between God and Israel was sealed by a sign, the Sabbath Day, with a covenant meal. Now you will notice even in the new covenant we will do exactly the same thing. We have baptism as the sign and we have the covenant meal, the Lord’s Supper. However after they made this covenant and the people all agreed to obeying and serving the Lord, the very next moment Israel sins horribly against God. They violated the covenant they just made with God by worshiping a golden calf. Moses couldn’t see what they were doing but God did, and God said to Moses “I am going to wipe them all out and start a new group with you”. When Moses finally got down to see them he said, “You have committed a great sin.” He takes the golden calf and grinds it up and makes them all eat it. Then he said, “who is on the Lord’s side?” and the Levites came to him and went through the camp and killed everybody who was doing evil. Three thousand people died. Moses got so mad he was going to kill them all himself.
...if you dont desire Him when you are not in trouble dont expect Him to show up when you are. Finally Moses goes back up the mountain and intercedes for the people, knowing that God is holy and how can a holy God be with us? If He is not with us and if His presence is not with us we are not going anywhere. Moses pleads with God to be with them. He first asks God that he might know His ways. Moses wanted to have a personal relationship with God so that God would be with him (vs. 13). Then Moses asked to see God’s glory (vs. 18). What a bold request! God revealed His glory to Moses by revealing two things: Here is the first one, His Name. God reveals His name and shows His goodness. His goodness revealed in His mercy and compassion. God showed up and He showed off! He wants to show off His goodness to you and to the people that live around you and your family. In ancient times the name meant power. The name reflected

SHOWUP & the character of the person. Often times if you knew the name of somebody it meant you had relationship with them. Remember when Jesus met the demon possessed man in Gadarenes? Jesus asked the man his name; the demon answered relating his name was Legion. When the man gave Jesus his name it meant very clearly that the demon was under the authority of Jesus. Jesus had power over him. When God said to Moses, “I am going to give you My name” He was literally saying I am going to come into relationship with you and you are going to have power because of my relationship with you. When Jesus says to us, “I give you my name. Hitherto you have not asked anything in My name, but if you will ask in My name you will receive.” That is huge! Because it is at the name of Jesus “every knee shall bow, every tongue shall confess that He is Lord.” Literally Jesus is saying, “I have all authority. I give you that authority. In My name you can cast out devils. In My name you can heal the sick”. God is saying I am going to show up and show off because I have given you My name. Then also He said I am going to let my goodness pass by you. You are going to see MY ability to turn everything that happens in your life to good. You are going to see My desire to bless and My desire to benefit you. WOW! God wants to show up and show off. He wants to show up and show off His power in His name. And He wants to show you His goodness. He wants to turn things for good in your life. He wants to show you how much He loves you and cares for you. God showed up in the person of His Son, Jesus the Christ. You will notice very clearly when you read the Gospel of John especially from John 12 on that if you believe in Jesus you believe in the Father. If you are hearing Jesus you are hearing the Father. If you have seen Jesus you have seen the Father. He showed His goodness to all mankind by allowing His Son to die on a cross so you could be delivered from sin and have eternal life. He showed up and showed off. He healed the sick. He cleansed the leper. He cast out demons. He raised the dead. Hallelujah! That same Jesus is at work in our world today. I thought you said that He was resurrected and ascended? Yes, but He sent the other Comforter, the Holy Spirit. God showed up in the person of the Holy Spirit. In Acts 2, the Holy Spirit fell on the one hundred and twenty. It says it was like the sound of a rushing mighty wind filled the house. Tongues of
fire were on their heads. It was almost like a picture of Mount Sinai all over again. They began to speak in other tongues and they went out with great boldness. Three thousand were saved the first day. Then a man was healed at the Gate Beautiful. It said five thousand men were now part of the church. You add women and children all of sudden the church grew to twenty thousand. Then there was persecution toward believers but the church gathered and prayed. It said the Holy Spirit fell shook the place where they were in Acts 4 and they went out with greater boldness. God showed up and God showed off to such a degree that when Peter’s shadow fell on people they got healed and Prophetic words came forth. GOD WANTS TO SHOW UP AND SHOW OFF IN 2013. This is His year to show up and show off in your life. I believe it very clearly with all my heart that God is saying to us this year that He is going to show up and show off in our church. There will be many people saved and healed. There will be many lives transformed by His power. I believe that His goodness will be seen in great measure in your personal life. Some of you have been praying for family members and I believe this is their year to come to the Lord. Some of you have had mountains that have stood in your way for years, but that mountain is going to be removed. This is your year of deliverance. This is the year that I believe God is going to elevate people dramatically. Barriers are going to be removed. God is going to show up and show off. But there is something all of us must be aware of. There is a demand by God of some things we must do if He is going to show up and show off. First, you must desire God’s presence. Moses said, “God, you have got to be with us. I’ve got to have your presence”. Do you know that there are Christians that couldn’t give a fig if God shows up or not? The only time they want Him to show up is when they are in trouble. But if you don’t desire Him when you are not in trouble don’t expect Him to show up when you are. Moses said we can’t do this unless God is with us. He yearned for the presence of God. You can come to church and stay an hour and a half to fulfill your religious duty then try to leave as soon as possible. Don’t make me stand, Pastor. Don’t scream too loud because I want to sleep for the rest of the service. You’ve missed it. He is waiting for you to desire Him to show up. On your way to church did you pray,
If you have a hunger to be in Gods presence and to worship Him every week, God says Im going to show up and Im going to show off
4 The King’s Call May 2013
SHOWOFF “oh God I long to feel your presence. I can’t go on without your presence Lord.” That desire for God’s presence has to be in your life. Secondly we must pray. Moses asked something very unusual. He asked I want to see your glory. Now that’s a little bold. Jesus said “ask and ye shall receive. Seek and ye shall find. Knock and it shall be opened unto you”. You will notice when you look at this text that God changes things on the basis of our praying. That incredible mystery is a law of God, if we will pray it will change everything. God is constantly looking for a people that He can work through. Why not this people that He will flow through? We can begin to pray “God, Your kingdom come. Your will be done”. The moment we begin to pray that, it’s like a window opens in the demonic realm. The darkness flees and the power of God rushes in to that situation to change our world. Prayer releases the hand of God to work on your behalf! God wants to Show Up and Show Off! He is looking for somebody who will pray. If you will show up for prayer God will show up in your home. Thirdly, we need to live holy, being obedient to God’s Word. Moses prays this interesting prayer, ‘Lord I want to know your ways so I can have favor with you’. God said “obey what I commanded you today” (33:11). He says live holy. Be separated unto me. It’s very important for us to live holy because God wants to show up and show off. If we are not living holy it is very difficult for Him to show up on our behalf because He is just and He is righteous and must punish our sin. That’s why you come to church so you can hear the ways of the Lord. That’s why you are here Sunday morning, Sunday night, midweek, and in a cell group. Why do I need to be in church that much? We all need to know the ways of God and live it out because we don’t want any unholiness keeping us from God showing up and showing off on our behalf. That brings me to the fourth thing. We need to worship Him. We need to be in church. God says in Exodus 34, Celebrate! He said celebrate the Feast of Unleavend Bread, the Feast of Wheat, the Passover Feast. He talks about how we are not to come before Him empty handed there in verse 20. Verse 26 says bring the best of your first fruits of the soil to the house of the Lord your God. He is talking about worshipping God. Listen, you want God to show up and show off but are you willing to show up? God said to Moses these times of feasts are crucial things because the people need to celebrate Me. When we gather like this it is to celebrate the Lord. Put worship as top priority on your list. When the offering comes by don’t just look at it and say bless you and go on. No, you are worshipping. When we are praying and holding hands, pray. When Pastor is preaching don’t
sit there sleeping. Hear the word of the Lord. It has to be a vital part of your life and not just once a year on Christmas or on Easter. It ought to be worship. If you have a hunger to be in God’s presence and to worship Him every week, God says I’m going to show up and I’m going to show off. There is the final thing, number five, do not touch God’s glory. One of the most tragic passages in scripture is found in Numbers 20. Moses is almost to Canaan
God changes things on the basis of our praying. That incredible mystery is a law of God, if we will pray it will change everything
land and He comes to a place in Kadesh and the people are complaining because they don’t have water. Previously as the Lord commanded, Moses had struck the rock with his own rod to produce water in the desert. But this time as he was seeking the Lord, God said I want you to take Aaron’s rod that had budded before the Testimony and hold it up before the people. I don’t want you to strike the rock; I want you to speak to the rock. But Moses gets so angry with the people that he speaks to the people and strikes the rock. Numbers 20:12 states, “But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron because you did not trust Me enough to honor Me as holy in the sight of the Israelites you will not bring this community into the land I give them.” Moses got so full of himself and so full of his own anger and so full of the fact that the people had hurt his ego that he screamed at the people and he struck the rock. God wanted to be glorified by letting the people know how much God loved them and pour out refreshment. But Moses blew it because Moses was concerned about himself. If you want God to show up and show off you need to deal with yourself. Get the ego out of the way. When God does show up and show off let Him be praised, not you. God show up and show off. That’s what is going to happen this year. I believe that God is going to do a powerful work in this church and in every Chapel. I don’t want you to miss a single service because God is going to show up and show off.

Cowboy Church Minister Manny Aruda kcrodeosintl@yahoo.com
C’s Cowboy Church began 2 years ago because of Dr. Marocco’s vision to touch EVERY culture with the precious “Good News”. Unknown to many, cattle raised in Hawaii by Hawaiians on horse-back began even before the state of Texas ever existed. The Paniolo (Hawaiian cattlemen) taught by Spaniards, played an important role in the development of Hawaii, much like the cowboy of the “old west” played in the development of America; providing the all-important beef needed to feed the multitudes. Because His desire is that none would perish, God graciously “opened doors” and Cowboy Church was birthed in early morning prayer meetings from 5:30 am to 6:30 am M/F and Sunday morning service at 9:30 am. God then gave us 2 horses so we could begin teaching children how to ride right after Sunday service, which recently grew with horseback riding for kids on Thursday afternoons starting at around 4 o’clock along with seperate men’s and women’s Bible studies at 5. All of these are done at Oskie Rice Rodeo Arena in the Up-Country town of

Makawao with the hope of pointing “a whole culture” to Jesus. God used two born again working cowboys from Ulupalakua to start a Bible study right there at Ulupalakua Ranch every 2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings with a pot-blessing at 5:30 followed by Bible study at 6pm. Presently, the last tuesday of each month bible study has expanded into an evening service which includes worship and communion. In the near future, Cowboy Church sees God making a way to begin holding services in Kaupo (another cattle ranching community of yester-year) in a seldom-used white stone church right on the ocean. As a congregation, we at King’s Cathedral are so very grateful for the Rice family who own the property that Oskie Rice Arena is built on, for Maui Roping Club who let us use that facility for ministry and for the Erdman family who allow us to meet at Ulupalakua Ranch. We pray our great God will continue to richly bless these!

e have an awesome Children’s Ministry at King’s Cathedral Maui! A ministry we would not have if it were not for the dedication of a Spirit-filled team of people who truly care for each child. I want to share with you just how amazing they have been over the last 16 months. It was November of 2011 and we were finishing up our annual Slaughterball Camp. I entered a game and was having fun with the kids (They are better than I am, but don’t tell them that!). I saw a moment to chase down one of the best kids on the field and took it. As we were running full speed there became a need for me to leap into the air. I jumped as high as I possibly could! I landed wrong on my feet and the world changed. I fell and couldn’t move. My left knee had two fractured bones, torn ACL, partially torn
PCL, torn meniscus, and a strained MCL. It was a moment for Children’s Ministry (and my family) to rise to the challenge… and they did! The team was required to adjust for my absence and they stepped up to the plate and hit a home run. I was absent or restricted from normal work for most of last year. That means Egg Hunts, Passport, Kids Camp, and especially weekly ministries had to function without me. I thank God for such wonderful servants who willingly sacrifice their time, money, and energy in Sonshine Company. I thank each of you who serve in Children’s Ministry, especially those who strived tirelessly these last 16 months. Hebrews 6:10, “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.”
King’s School of Ministry By Minister Kimi Davis

n August of 2012, King’s School of Ministry began a new 5 fold emphasis for students desiring an in-depth experience of full time ministry. The five components are Education, Action, DNA, Mentoring, and Missions. Both Full-Time and Part-TIme students are experiencing radical transformation of their life as they dive into the components. It is awe-inspiring to see their commitment to fulfill what they believe God has spoken to them to complete. I recently interviewed one of our students regarding their life in King’s School of Ministry. Her responses give you an idea of the work God is doing to prepare the students for a lifetime of powerful ministry. If you believe God is speaking to you about enrolling in King’s School of Ministry, or you simply want more information about it, email Minister Kimi Davis at KSMmaui@gmail.com. The next available semester for enrollment will be the Fall 2013 semester.

od has been doing amazing things in Oahu. It is humbling to see God work in such a marvelous way. It is only by His grace. In one moment God can change everything! In the month of January 2013 the Lord in His grace moved in power within KC Oahu. Rodney Howard-Browne and his Great Awakening Team came to our church with the objective to set our people on fire for more of the presence of God and a greater passion for soul winning. Within that week we saw 1784 souls saved and over 400 people added and connected to KC Oahu. We implemented a new ministry TiL (This is Love) that uses benevolence to create a platform to preach the gospel by meeting people’s needs weekly. We have seen more and more people being added to the church through daily power evangelism and also through a once a month outreach we call the Oahu Fest. The congregation has now doubled! We are working hard to facilitate even greater expansion and disciple the harvest God has given us. Please pray that we will continue in reaching out into our community, that we will grow in anointing, and flourish in greater measure. God bless you KC family.

e are “ONE DAY CLOSER” is what’s being heard throughout Kings Chapel Honokaa and it’s spreading throughout the island as local residents from Honokaa and neighboring communities commute through Honokaa town and see workers on the property. Our building project is not only back in action but moving forward with momentum. We are “ONE DAY CLOSER” to finally getting in. Yes, we have our challenges, set-backs, corrections to be made. Through the work of this building project God has spoken to me about our Christian walk as we grow in God. We do our best to insure our foundations are strong, our walls are standing straight, our steps are stable, and our life is in order. Then challenges come our way and tend to rock our foundations, offset our walls and cause us too to misstep in life, which discourages us and causes us to be unstable. Thank you Lord, that through His grace He sends people our way to help us reinforce our foundations, to help us stand strong and firm again. His word and encouragement helps us rebuild walls. As we are still at work with our building project day to day, it has become an inspiration and encouragement to us knowing God is also at work in our lives. Jesus did say that trouble will come but he encouraged us to be of good cheer for he has overcome the world.
Having faith in God is what encourages us to complete the project. It is also your faith as you plant the daily seed every Sunday that inspires us to believe that the KC Vision will be completed! When we give over and beyond to the Kingdom God goes beyond, giving to us over and over again. God has shown up and showed off in Honokaa on behalf of our building project and in our lives. Especially here on the Big Island of Hawaii located in the town of Honokaa located on the 43 mile marker off Mamalahoa Highway at 45-3370 Old Mamalahoa Highway is where you can come and see what the Daily Seed has done. As exciting it is to be getting into our church building, it is a greater excitement to know that Kings Chapel Honokaa is a part of The 120/20 Vision. From the families of KC Honokaa we thank you all for your prayers and support as we are “One KC Honokaa Building: Day Closer”. Inside(Top), Outside(Bottom)

King’s Chapel Wasilla Pastor Daniel & Pastor Karen Bracken wasilla@kcalaska.com
t’s a typical Sunday morning as I enter the lobby of our church at K.C. Alaska, in Wasilla. Wasilla of course means a gentle breeze, yet at K.C. there is more than a gentle breeze astir. Revival winds are stirring, the wind of the Spirit is impacting lives as altar calls are full of people being set free and refreshed! There is a whole growth of new families and faces as people fill the seats and settle in for worship to begin. What’s more, as I take a look at the faces of our congregation there is the look of rapt attention and admiration stirring, as I see the unmistakable interplay that passes between our beloved Pastor and his people. That big man with the bright blue eyes, bald head, and his outlandish sense of humor, along with his precious dear wife, Pastor Karen, have won the hearts of this people! They have taken the journey with us and woven us into a family, due to the transforming gift of love. I see love being perfected in this body of believers. Their openness and transparency enables all of us to grow and become more like Christ. As I reread 1st Cor. 10:13 about the excellency of love, it is the highest goal of all our ministries and interactions with one another. Imagine a worship service that sounded like a gong, discordant and without the harmony of the spirit. As I speak to members of our church and hear the many testimonies, what’s clear is the love and the drawing of the Holy Spirit that abides here. Whether it be E.M.P. (early morning prayer), our small groups, community outreaches, King’s School, or the variety of other ministries throughout the week that keep our doors open. We are impacting the lives of those who attend K.C. and our community for Christ. Yes, we are a prophetic church as the many prophesies given at our recent conference confirm. Yet in the end all these things shall pass away and become silent. But three things will last and be of eternal value, faith, hope, and love. The greatest of these is love. So set your mind upon the highest of all gifts! Check us out at kcalaska.com or just drop in and visit us anytime you’re around Wasilla.

he power of God has come to our family! We always loved and served the Lord as best we knew, but always in conservative churches. We came to Alaska for a new adventure but nothing was working; we even put our house on the market, hoping to move away. Out of desperation we landed in KC Wasilla (just because it was close) and continued to come in spite of how uncomfortable we felt. We saw the power of God in Pastor Daniel Bracken and could see that something was different here. Steve (my Baptist husband) was a man of faith and goodness but POW! Now he has the Holy Ghost! I had hoped and prayed for this for 11 years and had pretty much given up, satisfied with the fact that I was very blessed to be his wife and I knew he loved and trusted the Lord. What an awesome outpouring on our whole family! He got the gift of tongues and in the same service two of our sons got “wrecked” and filled also. The Joy of the Lord is filling our lives! Pastor Daniel encouraged Steve to not give up his real estate license, and put him in contact with a Christian broker and we are starting over. Our daughter in Oregon called us, depressed and hurting and we encouraged her to listen to a podcast; we then called Pastor Daniel and asked him to pray with us for Lacy and her husband Brent. She called a few minutes later in tears of joy because the Lord restored her prayer language! Pastor Daniel prophesied directly to her over the podcast with a word of power and encouragement that the Lord would give back her joy and she would dance again! Hallelujah! We felt that God was calling Lacy and Brent to be laborers for His kingdom in Alaska and the Lord miraculously provided a job in Wasilla for Brent against all odds! They are here now, only 3 weeks later!
I hurt my shoulder back in September and was to have surgery the 14th but even this is a miracle! Workman’s Comp wants an independent medical exam…in Portland Oregon, where my family is! They are flying me to Portland and I will see my brother Bill who should have died a month ago, and my 5 sisters planned a sister get together for the first time in years for that weekend! I will get to see my blessed mother who is almost 95, and get to hold the newest baby in the family! God will finish healing my shoulder later! The favor of God is pouring out on our lives and it started with Steve being filled with the Holy Spirit. We say YES Lord, wherever and whatever you want, we say YES! WE KNOW GOD IS NOT DONE! We anxiously anticipate His next miracles! There is more to come!

hree years ago I was at the lowest point of my life, I was broken, hopeless and killing myself with heroin and oxycontin or whatever I could get. I wanted the pain to leave but I didn’t trust that God could do it. I wanted so desperately for Him to change my life, but I never truly surrendered to give him the chance. I believe if it weren’t for the people at KC Wasilla showing me God’s love, I probably wouldn’t have made it. No matter how stupid I was or how many times I messed up I still felt welcomed and loved when I walked into church and it helped me see how big God’s love is. I believe He was always with me; He was just waiting for me to give up my will and ask Him for help. I never thought my life would change or that I would feel any type of peace, but God is healing my heart and showing me the beauty of life around me. God took my heart and made it new. He has shown me how to love and how to care for others. I’m so blessed! I can’t imagine going back to a life without his love or to a place so dark. I know He is still working on me and I’m happy for that. The patience and acceptance allowed me to see God’s love and I know in my heart that’s part of why I’m still here today. Thank you.

K
C Seattle began on the 4th of July, 2004 in a basement of a house in Skyway. Growth forced the extension to move to a bigger location and that move was followed by many other relocations and readjustments of service times because of increased growth. Although the group was still very small, we believed that God would supernaturally open a door to purchase a building and miraculously provide the finances needed. This answer to the consistent believing of King’s Chapel Seattle and other KCs came into reality this March 3, 2013, when Dr. James Marocco came to Seattle to open and dedicate the former Roxy Theater on South 3rd Street in downtown Renton to become the base of King’s Chapel in the State of Washington. This historic event brought in over a hundred people to thank God for what He has done. People got saved, healed and touched by the Lord in the service. Moreover, people were so encouraged by Apostle Marocco’s message entitled, “What do you see, What do you say, What do you show”. Keep declaring with KC Seattle that our presence in the northwest would yield a great harvest in the region!

atricia Gaston proclaimed with great exuberance, “I am no longer a victim, I AM A MIGHTY WOMAN OF GOD”. She proclaims a new heritage for herself and her three children is now possible because of her Heavenly Father. The heritage that was passed down from preceding generations is now changing. January 2012 KC Lebanon started. Eli Gaston rode Pastor Reynolds suburban to church. The third Sunday was “Family Sunday” and Eli invited his mother, Patricia. She walked to church with his baby sister in a stroller in 32 degree weather. That was 14 months ago and Patricia’s faithfulness is amazing. Patricia asked the Lord to be her Savior and to come rescue her and her children out of troubles. Because of the Lord’s great love and her family at Kings Chapel Oregon she is a brand new person today. She set her mind to live righteously. Patricia is now drug free, alcohol free, financially blessed, and, the hardest for her, no longer living with a man she was not married to. Her inward change has affected her physical appearance. She no longer looks discouraged and sick. She has a smile on her face and a skip in her walk. She boldly proclaims to friends,
family and strangers what God has done for her. She helped with the egg hunts, danced in Birthday of a King and faithfully attends her Realities Small Group. The “Women’s Encounter” in February 2013, was a turning point for Patricia. As I, (Pastor Kelley) was praying for her, I had a vision, so I prophesied it over her. At the time of the encounter she was still living with her boyfriend. I told her what I saw. “I saw her in a house, with a garden, her children happily playing, I even saw a car.” I told her I believed the Lord was saying to her that He was going to help her make a much needed change that would leave behind the old life. She said she had always wanted a flower garden and was ready for change. We prayed for a miracle to be able to get into a house. Within 3 days, a friend of hers said she was moving and had already spoken with the landlord about Patricia moving in. KC Lebanon helped Patricia move to her new home, which has a garden, on March 8th! Jesus truly sets the captive free! Eli, Ricky and Autumn (Patricia’s children) have a heavenly father that loves them, a mother that is being discipled, and a brand new heritage!

want to thank the Lord for giving me the opportunity of a new life with Him. My life was not an easy one. I am the youngest of 10 brothers and sisters. Even though I was the youngest, I grew up fast. When I was 12 years old I started driving. By 13 years old, I became a city Taxi driver. At 14 years old, I was in a fatal car accident. I was driving with my sister in law and my nephew who was 5-6 months old. The car was demolished. They survived with some minor cuts and bruises but I was in the ICU for a week, then released from the hospital 3 weeks later. My face was destroyed with a broken nose and all my front teeth needed to be replaced. I also had 3 extensive surgeries and facial reconstruction. The doctor gave my family no hope. I didn’t realize it then, but I am very grateful to God for His mercy. He gave me another opportunity to live. God had a purpose and a plan for me and my family. I am very adventurous; even after all of those traumatic events I left my home when I was 15 years old to go to my sister Sandra, who lived in the U.S. It was a journey of 2,040 miles and I had very few resources. My goal was to get to my sister. I crossed the border by myself. Even then, God was with me. The journey was very dangerous but I was able to reach my goal safely. While living with my sister, I met a man who I moved in with. We had a baby girl together. My boyfriend Alex started to go to church with his mom. When he would invite me, I would get very upset and I would fight with them. I didn’t like Alex going to church with his mother. He would come back so happy and he wanted to do things right. He wanted to marry me, but I didn’t want to marry someone who didn’t want to put me first in their life. For him, Jesus was first. This went on for 2 years. One day my sister and I wanted to go to Disneyland.

We thought it was in San Diego. While she drove we started to argue and weren’t paying attention. Before we knew it, we had driven all the way into Tijuana, Mexico. My sister and my family were able to go back, but I couldn’t because I needed additional documentation. I was stuck in Rosarito for 9 months by myself. I was feeling sorry for myself and became very depressed. I missed my daughter. I didn’t know it at the time but this was God’s plan. I am thankful for Irise because she opened her home to me. She is Christian and she goes to King’s Chapel Rosarito. Irise took me to church. I did not want to go, but I went because I felt obligated. I would go off and on whenever I felt like it. But one day, they had a celebration called “Harvest Festival.” Irise again invited me and I went and that night I received the Lord Jesus Christ as my savior on October 27, 2012. My life started to change and began learning the Word of God. Then one of the neighbors, Mari, invited me to come to her cell group. We were studying realities (El Libro Morado). I now have a group of ladies who pray for me every day. I was living in turmoil, feeling sorry for myself, depressed, but the word of God brought me peace and joy. I now know that God is with me. I didn’t even know who Jesus was and the sacrifice that He made for me. Now that I know, I see how blessed I am and have a hunger for more of Him and His Word. I am so grateful for the vision of KC, 120/20. I know that “Capilla del Rey Rosarito” King’s Chapel Rosarito is part of that vision. I am thankful for Irise and Mari for introducing me to Capilla del Rey Rosarito and my Pastora Rafaela and her husband Carlos who are taking the time to show me who Jesus really is and how He loves me. I also want to thank Maui and Dr. Marocco for their love and support.

t is Sunday morning and Gloria is waiting for the bus to go to church at King’s Cathedral in Santiago, Chile. Another man is at the bus stop waiting. All of a sudden, he places a knife on Gloria’s neck and asks her for her purse. She said: “You cannot do this to me.” He cursed her and tried to take her purse. Gloria said: “You cannot do this to me. I am on my way to church.” The man froze. “Are you a Christian?” he asked. “Yes, I am a Christian and I am on my way to church.” The man apologized. He sat down and started to cry. “I have been away from God. I got into drugs.” Gloria sat by him. Took his hand. Started to comfort him with words of hope and peace. The bus arrived and Gloria invited him to sit by her. They talked. She kept speaking words of hope and life, but he would not accompany Gloria to church. We will pray for Andrés, that the Hound of Heaven will bring him home again. God is a shield and protection in the time of need.
KC Fiji

A
s I reflect back on these past 4 years God has allowed my wife and I to be in Fiji, I am reminded of the apostle Paul’s words in I Cor. 3:6: “I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase from this word.” Both are needed and I believe you cannot compare one with the other. Dynamics are unique worldwide, thank God, He brings the increase. We are definitely planters and pioneers. Mahealani has developed friendships with women from Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Uganda, Kenya, California, and more, all here for a season. Through these friendships a Women’s Bible study developed. After 5 months of meeting weekly, Mahealani felt prodded to invite the female American Ambassador to Fiji, Frankie Reed, to be the guest speaker at an October’s women’s Bible meeting. This specific Tuesday we had 26 women in attendance. The women were blessed to receive the word of God, and to have our Ambassador in attendance but more importantly, we were able to pray for Her and encourage her in her position.
Anasa and Lanieta first attended K.C. Fiji in June 2010. Lanieta’s children were already attending K.C. Fiji months ahead. Anasa and Lanieta both came from broken marriages. They met while doing peacekeeping works in Iraq. A few months after they had been attending, Pastor Joe had a prophetic word for them. Within the time period, that prophetic word came to past, which was a miracle as Lanieta ended up going back to Iraq. In the meantime, Anasa went to India for throat cancer treatment, but upon a check in at India, no evidence of cancer was found. Anasa was totally healed. By the printing of this article Pastor Joe will have joined them together in marriage and they are well on their way to being pillars in God’s house and leaders for Kings Chapel Fiji. K.C. Fiji by the end of 2013 will have completely paid off our church van and we are looking for land for our church and a larger facility. Please continue to pray for us to reach 1% of Fiji’s population. Also please continue to give to missions so we can finish the good work that Jesus began in us!

he Province of British Columbia is a beautiful place on Earth, with a population that has grown to 4,400,057 because of the influx of new immigrants, and people from other provinces. The city of Surrey with a population of 394,976 is one of the largest cities in Canada. We have been a part of KC Seattle for over 3 years and a minister for over a year. KC Seattle sent us on a mission to plant an extension towards the North in Canada. We applied for Permanent Residency in Canada and surprisingly God paved the way… our PR visa was approved in six months’ time. Lorna migrated to Canada ahead of all of us on Dec. 27, 2010 so that she could find a job and a place to stay for our family while I was still pastoring KC Lynnwood. The rest of the family then followed May 16, 2011. Our moved was difficult for our girls, Elielle, Althea and Kirsten because of all the adjustments that come but He has been gracious to give them quality friends and teachers.
The Lord showed me two visions while praying for KC Canada. First, I saw a huge farm land of wheat which was ready for harvest. I saw myself planting and at the same time harvesting. The second vision was of people in the city raising their hands and asking for help to be lifted to the other side. The people whom I had I lifted to the other side became my helpers. I believe the Lord will extend His hands to have a KC extension in every city of B.C. Pray that the Lord would grace us with favor to go east and reach the Provinces of Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Ontario. I know that God can use us, empowered by His Holy Spirit, to bring Revival to the land. King’s Chapels of Canada was recognized and licensed by the Province of British Columbia. The registration was issued September 14, 2012. On March 17, 2013 King’s Chapel Canada held the first worship service in a house church in North Delta, Surrey, BC. We are blessed! To God be the Glory!!!

B i b l i c a l Stewardship By Tom Revelle
S
tewardship is our obedient witness to God’s sovereignty. It defines our practical obedience in the administration of everything under our control, everything entrusted to us. In practice, we acknowledge that we do not have the right of control over ourselves or our property--God has that control. It means that we recognize that we are not our own but belong to Christ. Paul writes in I Corinthians 9:17 that he recognized his responsibility for preaching the Gospel as a divine trust. Paul is saying that once we are placed in the Body of Christ, the stewardship that is required of us is not a result of our own education, power or abilities. The strength, inspiration and growth in our lives must come from God through the Holy Spirit in us. Otherwise, our labor is in vain and the growth of stewardship is self-righteous, human works. How do you handle your finances? Do you feel a sense of peace when you think about your financial situation and the decisions you have made? There are many principles discussed in the Bible on how to handle our finances. I’ll list a few of the ways that I believe you should follow so that you can become a better steward of what you have been entrusted with as they related to our financial lives. A side note: if you’ve blown it in this area, don’t beat yourself up. Simply repent, move on and make changes to what you are doing. God is a forgiving God. He can restore what the enemy has taken.
1. Watch your attitude
A poster I once saw stated “Attitude is everything.” Our attitude is really important. Right attitudes include total commitment to God. The right attitudes that God will honor are spiritual values being reflected through our finances. Attitudes that we should have as Christians include contentment, fairness, honesty, humility, obedience and thankfulness. Are these attitudes reflected in how you handle your finances?
2. Get rid of debt!
Make a plan to get out and stay out of debt. Our church offers Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. If you need to learn the mechanics of getting out of debt and other sound principles of finance enroll in this class. Debt is like a stone around your neck. It can prevent you from doing what God has called you to do because it can strangle your finances. If you look at your own debt and trace it back to the decisions made that created the debt, often you will find that these were the times when you did not seek God’s will in a particular decision that was made. I met

a couple that felt they were called of God to go on the mission field. They felt the call of God so strongly. However, because of past financial decisions, they could not go because of their financial obligations (many of which were unnecessary.) They repented of their sins in the area of finances and made a plan to get out of debt. They later fulfilled God’s plan on the mission but much later than they would have liked. Resist the temptation of the advertising that say, “you deserve it” and entice you to spend money that you don’t have. An exercise I give to people is to ask people to write out how they would spend their days if they had all the money they ever needed and didn’t have to work. Note that this is not “all of the money they ever wanted” and is an exercise to encourage us to think about what we truly value since working is Scriptural. I like to think of it this way: What if every time you went to pay a bill or write a check, there was always enough money to cover the amount needed. In other words, if you could pull out the stress and concerns over finances and every need you had was met, how would you spend your days? Would you focus on yourself and fulfilling your wants and desires or would you live to serve others? Would you then find the time to read your Bible and pray? Most often, after prayerful consideration, the things that are most important will surface. Then I ask “why aren’t you doing those things now?” If these are truly the most important things and reflect your most important values, shouldn’t you be doing these now? When we devote these to Him and manage it for Him, we gain a very different perspective. He is the owner and we are the manager. Can God trust you with more? Will he say to you, “well done good and faithful servant”?

one In Russia
By Pastor Chris S. Davis Website:chrisdavisproductions.com Email: chris@chrisdavisproductions.com
The past year has been an exciting adventure! I literally have had the privilege of traveling completely around the world sharing the gospel! From KC Iwakuni to KC Springdale and everywhere in between, over 700 individuals came forward to receive Christ! Glory to God! However, one of the most amazing moments for me was being in Sakhalin, Russia this past January. My journey to this moment started face down on the carpet at the Cathedral back in 1995. Yes…1995. That night God gave me a vision. I saw an angel singing with a microphone and then a child whose ethnicity I could not discern. Later that evening, Dr. Marocco interpreted the vision. He said I would hear the sound of heaven and write songs that would touch the earth and those songs would go to many nations. As he was talking, I saw a finger go around a globe that was nearby, showing me many specific nations. I happened to notice two remote areas of Russia. I thought to myself, “no one lives there.” But to my surprise, I learned the very next day that a couple who had been in the service that night, did ministry in that remote area of Russia and they invited us to come. The city they worked in, was in the very area I saw in the vision that night!
“...keep praying, keep being faithful, keep stepping out in faith and don’t give up!”
1996, I made my first trip to Russia. I was simply trying to step out in faith to reach the area that God had shown me. Over many years, teams from the Cathedral went with me, handing out Bibles in public schools, doing crusades, etc. I approached Pastors there about doing big productions as an outreach but I think they thought I was crazy! Then in 2004, Dr. Marocco and I became acquainted with and visited Pastor Edward Grabavenko. He pastored of one of the largest churches in the nation in Perm, but that was far away from the area in my vision. I suggested doing a show and he was open to it! So in 2009, a team from Maui did “Birthday of King” with two characters speaking Russian. The church there wanted to do it entirely in Russian, so they spent the next year translating the entire show, but lip-synched a recording because they had no microphones. Their desire was to do it again, completely live and they did, in January of this year! It was streamed on the internet and many people across their nation watched as well! As I was preparing for the trip, I told Pastor Edward, who now heads the Pentecostal Union for the entire nation that I wanted to reach out to the area I saw in my 1995 vision. He connected me to Bishop Peter Yarmulyuk in Sakhalin, the island directly above Japan. After the show was performed in Perm, I flew over 8 hours to Sakhalin. There,
four small churches had come together to produce the “Birthday of a King.” The auditorium was packed, people standing 2 and 3 deep all across the back. They applauded and applauded as roses were given to the entire cast. One Pastor’s wife told me that they had never seen anything like it before on their island! They were amazed and so was I! As I looked around that auditorium, I had a revelation. After 18 years…the vision God gave me had come to pass! People were performing songs God had given me in their own language, in the exact area I had seen that night in 1995! My hope is that this encourages you to hold on to the visions God has given you. No matter how long it’s been, even 18 years…keep praying, keep being faithful, keep stepping out in faith and don’t give up! You never know when you’ll look around and see God bringing them to pass before your very eyes!
