My Gymnasium My name is Diana. I am fifteen. This year I’ll get the first certificate of education. I want to tell you about the school where I study. It is an unusual school. It looks like a small fairy house, where we learn secrets of different sciences especially foreign languages. Our school looks as a European school. It has no number but it has a name. It is called “Erudite”. It has its own hymn, flag and a coat of arms. Goals and ambitions are concentrated in these symbols. Pupils like the gold stars on the blue sky on the flag of the gymnasium and the green chestnut trees leaves on the coat of arms are the symbols of the city where our school is situated. All of the gymnasium pupils wear a uniform with a school emblem. All these things unite us as members of a big school family. At school we do not only study hard but we also spend a lot of time in different clubs such as: literary, theatre, dancing, singing, art and different sciences. Every pupil can show his or her talent in different competitions, games, concerts, and represent themselves as young scientists. The important part of our school life is preparing students for public activity. We take part in municipality and charity events for kids house. Four times a year everybody who wishes to watch how little children are turned into clever and curious people can come to school. In autumn and in spring we prepare a big concert, which presents the best achievements of the gymnasium pupils. I am proud that I am a pupil of this wonderful school. Diana Khalatyan Form 9
