MEET NANA EILEEN
A KROC MEMBER SINCE 2009
“I was struck by the beauty of the facility, the sense of peace here, and the plaque on the front that points to a clear community-minded purpose,” says “Nana” Eileen, one of The Kroc Center’s charter members from when the facility opened in 2009. Eileen’s daughter, Heather, is a nurse and mother to five children, including 5-year-old Olivia. When The Kroc Center opened, Heather was in the middle of nursing school and money was tight, but they qualified for a scholarship. Now out of school, Heather and her family no longer need the scholarship, and still feel that their monthly membership is well worth the fee. Heather explained, “Where else can you go that there is something for everyone in the family?” Eileen says that granddaughter Olivia loves the staff in Play Care and has excelled in Kroc Preschool. “I am completely impressed with the Preschool program. The teachers give the children so much personal attention,” says Eileen.
TIONS OF 3 G E NE R A BE R S ! K RO C M E M
Eileen, Heather and the whole family are grateful to Joan Kroc for her gift to North Idaho, “Joan Kroc’s association with The Salvation Army was perfect. I have the greatest regard for The Salvation Army.”

Welcome to Kroc Church:
EVERY SUNDAY 10AM
A PLACE WHERE ALL TYPES OF PEOPLE FROM DIFFERENT
KROC CHURCH
WALKS OF LIFE GATHER TO STUDY THE BIBLE, WORSHIP GOD, SPEND TIME WITH FRIENDS AND SERVE OUR COMMUNITY IN MANY DIFFERENT WAYS.
A Celebration of the Gospel At Kroc Church, we don’t gather to put on a show or impress one another. We strive to be honest about who we are, and our goal is to simply glorify God with our lives; it is the grace of God that motivates us. Kroc Church is a group of people with a common desire to follow and love Jesus. Being part of The Salvation Army Kroc Center allows us a number of different ways to create community. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you find yourself in life; if you want to get closer to Jesus and you want to build Christian community, we would love to have you join us.
WE WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO JOIN US FOR SUNDAY SERVICE!
MAIN SUNDAY SERVICE
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY NURSERY: 3 MONTHS–3 YEARS Drop-off/Pick-up in Play Care Room Little ones in the Nursery are well cared for by our wonderful volunteers who nurture the love of God and bring the message of the Bible
10AM, WORSHIP THEATER, OPEN TO ALL
to them in simple, easy to understand terms.
We aim to be followers of Jesus 24/7, but Sunday mornings we have an opportunity to gather together and worship as a family. Whether you’ve been a disciple of Jesus for years, or you are skeptical of Christianity and looking for answers, you are welcome. In our Sunday gatherings we will sing, study the Bible together and make time to respond to what God is doing in our lives.
Drop-off/Pick-up in Huckleberry Hollow
HUCKLEBERRIES: PRE-K & KINDERGARTEN Huckleberry Hollow is where our most curious and active age group meets. Kids will have plenty of fun while learning a meaningful Bible lesson. Bible verse memorization is encouraged through simple movement. Please have your children dressed for arts and crafts. Children must be fully potty trained.
KROC KIDS: 1ST–5TH GRADES Drop-off/Pick-up in Osprey Room This is where the fun begins! Children in this class are entering the age where they’re applying what they learn from the Bible into practice in their own lives. Children will engage in small group discussions where they share how they can apply what they learned from scripture to everyday life. Prayer and worship are also a focus in the lesson each week.
