Watauga Ave. Call: 423-461-8830 Date: Monday through Sunday Time: Monday through Friday - 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 - 7 p.m. Saturday - Noon - 6 p.m. Sunday 1 - 6 p.m. Ages: 13+ Cost: Youth/Women-$5/month, Men 18+ -$7/month The weight room is designed for fitness and health. The room is equipped with a universal weight station, free weights, bench press and squat bar.
Girls On The Run
Location: Carver Recreation Center, 322 W. Watauga Ave. Date: Feb. 14 Time: 3:30- 4:30 p.m. Grades: 3rd – 5th Cost: TBA Girls on the Run is a positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-5th grade. The program inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience–based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
Yoga “Just Breathe”
Location: Memorial Park Community Center, 510 Bert St. Call: 423-434-5749 Date: Tuesday & Thursday Time: 11-12:30p.m. Ages: 18+ Cost: $5/class Instructor: Dixie Neth. Join us for a breath of fresh air as we explore the world of yoga postures, breathing practices, and relaxation techniques. Focus is on precise alignment of postures, emphasizing body awareness and mental clarity.
Travel Trainer
