The 2020 calving season at Virginia Ranch saw an abundance of heifer calves born resulting in more quality than ever. So ultimately that presented the opportunity to have the best group of bred heifers ever at the Western Harvest Sale from Virginia Ranch. Add the exclusive herdsires and cow families to their phenotype and it is truly a serious opportunity for all Fullblood Simmental enthusiasts. Hard work is just an everyday fact of life for the Beechinor families. They’ve sourced the best females they could from various sales and dispersals, and still are always searching, to ever improve their highly reputable herd. Customer service is always front and center with Beechinors and I would attest to the working relationship we have with these people! We hope you plan to join us in person on sale day or will be joining us online. If you have shown an interest in our consignments via phone calls, private farm tours or have taken time to view our consignment videos – we truly are thankful for each and every one of these gestures. We have been Simmental breeders for over 35 years and are proud of the working herd we have built. Our cows are reliable functional females with sound udders, and are correctly built. We have a full herd health managed program and prior to breeding, these heifers received their modified-live vaccine of Bovishield Gold FP5, Covexin Plus as well as Ivomec; as calves they received Bovishield Gold One Shot (twice). The heifers did not come off of pasture until Oct 7th and were pictured four days later; so the pictures you are viewing here in this catalogue are of the gals in their working clothes with no extra feed in them. As always we acknowledge and thank the Team at Transcon Livestock for their professional service and appreciate all that the host facility Innisfail Auction Mart does to make each sale successful. Full Fleckvieh Hayley is a beautiful dark red heifer who comes from a first calving BEE Ducati daughter. Ducati is a bull that SIRE OF LOT 1 LFS SWAG 23F started the Beechinor bull sale a few years back. Hayley is a very gentle female that also appears to be the easy keeping kind. We sold three LFS Swag daughters in the bull sale last year, and they sold very well. Swag was sold to Starwest Farms last spring and we hope he will keep producing offspring like Hayley. Full Fleckvieh Hisako is one of my favorites. She comes from the $35,000 cow – Dreamwest 50D. She’s a very feminine, beautifully constructed Fleckvieh female. I don’t know where you would change her. Her maternal sister sold to Blazin J Simmentals of Valleyview, AB at the Western Harvest sale last year. Polled Full Fleckvieh Haniyah is the 2nd youngest heifer in our offering; a March 8th baby. Polled, deep bodied female with a super disposition. Her sire Sibelle Pol Synergy 18F could be one of the best bulls we have ever purchased during our 35 years in this business. There were 8 sons’ to sell last spring at the Spectrum Bull sale and they were very well received – averaging $16,500. Congratulations to Skywest Simmentals on having the high selling Synergy bull. His polled progeny are just as good as any horned animals. Haniyah is no exception!

Full Fleckvieh Harlow is not going to win any beauty pageant contest, given the year, she and a few other heifers went to pasture that ran out of grass and they lost a little weight; but don’t hold that against them. That being said, Harlow comes from a very good footed, nice uddered Double Bar D Thunder daughter who has put a lot of bulls through the Spectrum sale ring that have sold very well. Look Harlow up in November when we have videos online – she is going to look very different.

Full Fleckvieh Harleen’s dam is one of our best cows & at 15 years of age, she again will calve in January. She herself was a high selling Bred Heifer at the Simmsational Sale when it used to be held in Regina. Polled Full Fleckvieh Halley is a Polled Marquee daughter that was a later born February female. She also comes from an older cow that has done it all. We kept a maternal sister two years ago who at present has one of the best bulls in the bullpen. Halley also has female siblings at Ferme Gagnon; Skywest Simmentals; Mark Land & Cattle Co.; Kasha Farms and two male siblings at Jason & Jenna Packers; and Springpoint Colony. Full Fleckvieh Cherish is a nicely balanced heifer with a touch of class. She looks just like her Dam. Her maternal sister sold to Kyle Daines of Innisfail, AB and every time I run into Kyle he brags about this female and shows me pics of the calves that this cow is giving him. This always gives me a good feeling…as sometimes it’s tough to be a Purebred Seedstock Producer! If you need a pet, than Cherish will fill the bill, when taking pictures in the field, she ate the seat off the Quad and stole the key! (Brat)

Full Fleckvieh Virginia Hope evolves from the legendary JB CDN Kananaskis 4019 cow, who walked the pastures of Ferme Gagnon. Anybody that raises fullblood cattle know who I am talking about. We purchased Hopes’ Grand-Dam from the 2014 Gagnon sale; where upon she produced a beautiful Epic meal heifer calf. This Epic Meal female was retained in our herd and has produced a marketable calf Exposed March 19 - May 14/2021 to Diamond T 391F (reg # 1235980) every year. Her first two calves both made the bull sale. Her third Observed bred March 23/2021 calf, a heifer sold to Skywest Simmentals in the 2019 Western Harvest sale. The fourth female and full sister to Hope – stayed at Virginia Ranch. This Kananaskis blood-line is something not to pass up.

Full Fleckvieh I’m BAD. I left the gate open the night Haidie was born…it was only -35 Celsius…even though I was only about 5 minutes late before I found her, she still lost the ends of her ears. No B.S. I pulled one heifer out of our offering because of attitude and subsequently pulled Haidie out of the keeper pen in order to keep our offering numbers at 24 head. She is bred to MJB War Cry, who is an outstanding young herdsire. Stop by and look at his sons’ in the bullpen, they are impressive and all out of first calvers. Haidie is my loss and your gain.

I must say I learnt that my children are extremely useful over the past year and having them home more was really nice on the chore load. However, having them go back to school and watching them play sports again is nice too. Here at Beechinor Bros Simmentals our goal is to produce a female that will be productive while maintaining a strong udder, correct structure and calm temperament. The heifers on offer are out of a full health program and were given Express FP 10 along with Covexin Plus prior to breeding. As an added bonus, they will also come with both their Scour Bos vaccinations. The heifers came home at the beginning of October, and we picked them only a few days after. So, these pics show these girls in their working clothes. We believe that getting these girls over conditioned is harmful on the future production and error on the side of caution. We were in search of a new donor female, and AI’ed March 25, 2021 to NAC Battle Cry 4F – Reg# 1267450 she hasn’t let us down. Her first calf Exposed to Black Gold Battle 53H – Reg# 1315725 from April 3, 2021 to May 28, 2021 MGD OF LOT 26 CEN MISS PERFECT 512P had several admirers leading up to Ultrasounded safe to AI on May 28, 2021 our Bull Sale but unfortunately, he injured himself only a couple days prior, Ms Perfect is her second and this year she has another top-quality bull again. Daffodil is a big bodied female that has all the makings to be an outstanding cow. First off, her dam, 327D was a female we really liked at Anchor D’s female Sale and her first calf was among our top bred females a couple years ago and has brought a tremendous heifer calf in this fall. Her second calf was a full brother that sold in our Bull Sale. Daffodil is her third and this year has another full brother in the bull pen. Needless to say…. I think I like the cross 327D and Elevation produce. Also, by adding Elevation to the equation I know Daffodil’s udder will be top notch. Expect a highly pigmented calf from Radison. If you like females that raise pounds of calf, take a look here. Just like her dam, this deep ribbed, long spined, dark red, bigger framed heifer is an eye catcher. I liked this calf at a very young age. So much so that I bred her mother back the same way. The only real difference is that this year it was a bull calf. Not only is this bull calf maybe one of the best in the pen, he came home and weighed in at 957lbs at the beginning of September. Are you looking for something ANCHOR D VIPER 103W special? I think I found her! This SIRE OF LOT 31-33. SERVICE SIRE TO LOT 25 & 29 female has been a calf that just says look at me. Even as a little calf, she for some reason would always be front and center and it was impossible not to look. A double polled Sugar Ray daughter out of a picture perfect Radium female. Over the years we have really liked our Radium influenced cows. They calve well and have great udders with lots of milk. Speaking of Radium influenced females! Here is a female that I feel will be an outstanding cow going forward. Heavily pigmented with lots of rib and a beautiful topline. Her dam, 816F, is a young cow and is doing an outstanding job for us. This isn’t a big surprise as she is a member of four cows that are direct daughters to 61X. Alda is the second Radison female we will offer to you this year. We have been really impressed with the Radison offspring and we used him solely on heifers. This bigger framed girl is as long as a freight train. Lona is out of a big bodied dark red cow, 9X, who has registered every calf ever born. This will be first daughter I have ever let go. 9X's most notable was a son that sold to Skors Simmentals a high selling red bull. Georgia, Georgia, Georgia! This is the first calf out of a female that I believe has the ability to become a cornerstone female for us. 800F, Georgia’s dam, was among the best in her particular year and being the only daughter we ever got out of the good old 28X Kopp cow we decided we had to keep her. I originally wasn’t going to let Georgia come to town this year either but 800F had another good heifer calf and I decided I couldn’t keep them all. We really like our Cliffhanger daughters. They aren’t the biggest cows but their udders are all perfect and they like to bring heavy calves home in the fall.

Purebred We wanted to consign one purebred to the sale and Scarlet was the chosen one. When you take a good look at her she may be your chosen one as well. terms & conditions TERMS he terms of the sale are cash, cheque, e-transfer, or wire and are due at the time of sale, unless other arrangements have been made between buyer and seller prior to the sale. Transcon reserves the right to charge interest at a rate of 2% per month on overdue accounts. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement is made. Transcon Livestock Corp. reserves the right to require a certified cheque as settlement before releasing any sale cattle. Should any purchaser fail to settle for their purchase Transcon Livestock Corp. reserves full power to resell the animal to the best advantage either publicly or privately, without further notice. Any loss arising from such resale together with keep and all other expenses shall be payable by the defaulter. All settlements must be made with the clerks of the sale before any cattle will be released. Transcon Livestock Corp and/or the Auctioneer shall have the right to refuse bids from anyone who has a previous record of default in payment or who has not made proper credit clearance prior to the sale with the owner or Sale Managers. BID No private sales will be allowed except as otherwise provided for in the terms and conditions. No by-bidding will be permitted. SALES TAXES Applicable sales taxes will be charged on semen, embryos, and trucking fees (if listed), respective to the home province of the buyer, not the seller. DISPUTES In cases of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer's decision in such matters will be final. PURCHASER'S RISK Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Animals will be cared for at the purchaser's risk for a reasonable length of time. INSURANCE Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser at the time of sale and should be insured. Animals returning to the seller’s farm must be insured. US BUYERS There is an additional charge (approximately $300.00 US dollars) that will be applied to each animal purchased. This covers documentation, vet inspections/testing required to export. This cost does not include transportation or brokerage which is the responsibility of the buyer. CATTLE PICTURES AND INFORMATION PROVIDED The images in this catalogue are believed to be accurate representations of the individual animals and the information contained in this catalogue is provided by the seller and believed to be true and accurate. Transcon Livestock Corp. and catalogue designers/producers assume no responsibility if the images and/or information as received have been altered or is inaccurate. ANNOUNCEMENTS All announcements from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay attention to any such announcements.
CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY A registration/recordation certificate issued by the applicable breed association and duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer of each animal after settlement has been made. It is the responsibility of the buyer to determine the acceptance of this certificate in any other association. SHIPPING Assistance will be given in making shipment after the sale but no risk is assumed by the Sales Management or Seller. Expenses incurred are the responsibility of the purchaser. Purchasers are requested to furnish shipping instructions when making settlement. BREEDERS GUARANTEE As per applicable Canadian Breed Association Breeding Guarantee guidelines. Copies are available at the sale settlement desk to be picked up by the buyer at any time. In no event shall the seller be responsible for reimbursing more than the purchase price. EXCEPTION TO GUARANTEE In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, the guarantee shall be null and void. HEALTH It is the buyer's responsibility to determine health requirements for importing any animal into his province or state. Transcon Livestock Corp. assumes no responsibility for the health status of any animal in the sale. EMBRYO & SEMEN Full settlement must be made before release is done and shipping arrangements should be done within 30 days of the sale unless arrangements made between buyer and seller prior to the sale. Shipping arrangements and costs are the expense of the purchaser once release has been given. ACCIDENTS Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the Sales Management, auctioneer, consignors, or Association assumes any responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability legal or otherwise in the event of accident or loss of property. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and the seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the two parties connected thereto are not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale. TRANSCON LIVESTOCK CORP. IS AGENT ONLY It is to be clearly understood that Transcon Livestock Corp. is only acting as a medium between buyer and seller and is not in any way responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations. Neither does Transcon Livestock Corp. assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties. Any legal action that may be taken, in exceptional cases, must be between buyer and seller.
