= AMOR La Isla Magazine celebra en esta edición el día de San Valentín, una fecha muy especial donde los enamorados expresan su amor. Cada 14 DE FEBRERO varios países del mundo celebran esta festividad entre ellos Estados Unidos, el Reino Unido, Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, entre otros. También ha llegado a China, Japón, Taiwán y aunque hoy tiene un factor comercial muy importante, existen varias historias de su origen, la más fuerte es la que se remonta al siglo III en Roma con el sacerdote Valentín quien se enfrentó al Emperador Claudio II, porque el Emperador prohibió el matrimonio de personas jóvenes, consideraba que los solteros eran mejores soldados. Pero esto no era concebible para el sacerdote Valentín, por lo que comenzó a celebrar los matrimonios de las parejas jóvenes a escondidas puesto que consideraba que eran verdaderas almas gemelas. El Emperador cuando se enteró de esto, decidió encarcelarlo y el 14 de Febrero, fue ejecutado.
FEBRUARY is synonymous with, LOVE so we at La Isla decided to speak with different readers and experts to hear about the best ways couples go about keeping their love alive through the years. Every FEBRUARY 14, several countries around the world celebrate Valentine’s day. Among them the United States, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and others. It has also reached China, Japan, & Taiwan. Even though Valentine’s Day has become very commercial, there are still several variety of stories on how it began. One of the best stories dates back to the third century in Rome where priest Valentín faces off with Emperor Claudius II because the Emperor banned the marriage of young people. He believed men that were single made better soldiers. This was not conceivable for priest Valentín, so he began to marry and celebrate the marriages of young couples secretly since he considered them to be true soulmates. When the Emperor found out, he decided to imprison Valentín and had him executed on February 14.

El abuso sexual puede ocurrir en cualquier niño(a), no importa su condición económica, religión o cultura. No existe una manera infalible de proteger a los niños del abuso sexual, pero hay medidas que se pueden tomar para reducir este riesgo. Si algo le sucede a su hijo(a), recuerde que el culpable es el abusador, no usted y mucho menos el niño(a). A continuación, encontrará algunas precauciones que puede tomar para ayudar a proteger a los niños a lo largo de su vida: Si su hijo(a) está en peligro inminente, no dude en llamar a la policía al 911. Si no está seguro de la situación, pero sospecha que el niño(a) está siendo abusado, puede tomar medidas para evaluar la situación y poner fin a esta pesadilla. Sexual abuse can happen to children of any race, socioeconomic group, religion or culture. There is no foolproof way to protect children from sexual abuse, but there are steps you can take to reduce this risk. If something happens to your child, remember that the perpetrator is to blame—not you and especially not the child. Below you’ll find some precautions you can take to help protect the children in your life. If your child is in immediate danger, don’t hesitate to call 911. If you aren’t sure of the situation but you suspect the child is being harmed, you can take steps to gauge the situation and put an end to the abuse. Be involved in the child’s life. Being actively involved in a child’s life can make warning signs of child sexual abuse more obvious and help the child feel more comfortable coming to you if something isn’t right. If you see or hear something that causes concern, you can take action to protect your child. Show interest in their day-today lives. Ask them what they did during the day and who they did

You can start having these conversations with your children as soon as they begin using words to talk about feelings or emotions. Let them know they won’t get in trouble. Many perpetrators use secret-keeping or threats as a way of keeping children quiet about abuse. Remind your child frequently that they will not get in trouble for talking to you, no matter what they need to say. When they do come to you, follow through on this promise and avoid punishing them for speaking up. Give them the chance to raise new topics. Sometimes asking direct questions like, “Did you have fun?” and “Was it a good time?” won’t give you the answers you need. Felicitamos a todo el equipo y sus fans por el triunfo del Campeonato Nacional Universitario de Fútbol Americano 2018. La Isla Magazine entrevistó a Jonathan Bustamante, estadounidense de nacimiento e hijo de padres colombianos, quien estudia en la Universidad de Clemson. Jonathan nos contó por qué es fan del equipo de Futbol Americano de su Universidad y cómo llegaron a ganar el campeonato: "Me gusta el fútbol americano porque es algo que forma parte de una tradición de los estadounidenses, aunque tengo fuertes vínculos con mi cultura hispana, siento que es importante haber integrado la cultura norteamericana a mi vida. El fútbol americano es algo que forma parte de mi cotidianidad y de la gran mayoría de ciudadanos aquí en Estados Unidos. Me convertí en fan de Clemson el día en que me aceptaron en la Universidad. Sin embargo llegué a ser fanático del fútbol de Clemson después de asistir a mi primer juego, no me gustaba mucho el fútbol
La Isla Magazine interviewed Jonathan Bustamante; the son of Colombian parents, who studies at Clemson University. Jonathan shared with us why he is a fan of his University's football team and how they came to win the championship: "I like American Football because it is now something that is part of my own tradition as an American living in The United States. Even though I still have strong ties to my Hispanic culture, it is important that I also integrated American culture to my life. Football in America is something that is part of everyday life. I became a Clemson fan the day I got accepted to the University. However, I did not became a Clemson football fan until after attending my first game. It was amazing! Early on I was not very fond of football since I did not have much exposure to the sport growing up. However, since attending my first live game, I have grown to understand the strategy and the athleticism in the sport and I find it to be very entertaining." Jonathan shared that he personally did not think that there was one specific thing that led Clemson to go from where they were to having capability of winning the national championship. "I think it was very hard for the team, coaches, fans and even university students to obtain such an honor! A championship team is not created overnight. It was made possible over several seasons with a lot of effort from everyone learning from each previous season.

VOICES OF HOPE La letra de la famosa canción de John Lennon "Imagine" que en español traduce (Imagina) dice: "Puedes decir que soy un soñador, pero no soy el único", la canción fue lanzada en 1971 y hasta el día de hoy el sentimiento sigue siendo el mismo.
YO SOY UN DREAMER
(Un soñador) y no precisamente en el sentido en el que John Lennon cantaba, sino en la forma en que los latinos y otros inmigrantes pueden relacionarse o como estamos catalogados por el gobierno quienes llegamos siendo niños. Mi familia y yo vinimos de Honduras a los Estados Unidos cuando tenía seis años de edad, por la misma razón que muchos inmigrantes vienen, soñando con construir una mejor vida. Normalmente la gente asocia a Honduras con algunas cosas: el crimen, las caravanas y el país donde se hacen algunas de tus camisetas, mis padres imaginaron una mejor vida para mí en los Estados Unidos e hicieron el máximo sacrificio para dejar al resto de nuestra familia por la oportunidad del Sueño Americano.

In the lyrics to to the Beatles song ‘Imagine” John Lennon famously sings, “You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one.” The song was released in 1971, but the sentiment still remains true to this day.
I AM A DREAMER
myself, not in the sense that John Lennon was singing about but in the way that Latinos and other immigrants can relate. My family and I came to the United States when I was six years old from Honduras for the same reason many immigrants come to the United States, so that we could have a better life. Normally people associate Honduras with a few things: crime, caravans, and the country where some of your shirts are made. My parents envisioned a better life for me in the United States and they made the ultimate sacrifice to leave the rest of our family for the chance at the American Dream here.
Soy un Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) que en español traduce Acción Diferida para los Llegados en la Infancia, lo cual no me da ningún privilegio especial, tan sólo significa que puedo trabajar y estudiar legalmente en los Estados Unidos, dado que reúno los requisitos para renovar mi estatus después de pasar una estricta verificación de antecedentes, pero incluso con DACA muchas puertas están cerradas, por ejemplo en Carolina del Sur no calificamos para tener una matrícula estatal, tampoco podemos acceder a becas por mérito financiadas por el Estado o a una licencia estatal para trabajar. Puedo dar fe de que esto no es sólo un problema en este Estado, dado que fui aceptado en la facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Georgia por mis méritos. Sin embargo, dos meses después de mi aceptación, recibí una carta que luego de una revisión adicional, manifestaron que no podían admitirme en la Facultad de Derecho debido a una política en la que ciertas Universidades Públicas de Georgia no tienen permitido admitir estudiantes que sean DACA, debido únicamente a nuestro estado de inmigración. El futuro es impredecible en términos de lo que el Gobierno tiene reservado para quienes somos DACA, no conozco cuál será mi estado de inmigración dentro de un año y puedo decir que tengo miedo. Sin embargo, si decidiera dejar todo por miedo a mi futuro, volvería a Honduras seguramente a trabajar en una planta textil. Barack Obama una vez se refirió a sí mismo como "soy un niño delgado con un nombre gracioso quien siempre he creído que Estados Unidos también tiene un lugar para mí". Estoy de acuerdo con el expresidente. Yo también creo en América, y creo que tiene un lugar para nosotros, los soñadores. Sé que no somos los únicos que nos sentimos así.

That does not give me any special privileges. All it means is that I can legally work and study in the United States, given that I qualify to renew my status after passing a stringent background check. Even with DACA a lot of doors are still closed to us. For example, in South Carolina we do not qualify for in-state tuition, state funded merit scholarships or an occupation state license. I can attest that this isn’t only a problem in this state. I was accepted to the University of Georgia School of Law based on my merits, however two months after my acceptance I received a letter that after further review, they could not admit me to the law school due to a policy where certain Georgia public universities cannot admit DACA students due solely to our immigration status. The future is unpredictable in terms of what it has in store for DACA. I don’t know what my immigration status will be a year from now and I’m scared about that! However, if I decided to quit just because I was frightened about my future, I would be back in Honduras working at a textile plant. Barack Obama once referred to himself as a “skinny kid with a funny name who believes America has a place for him too.” I agree with the former President. I too believe in America, and I believe that it has a place for us Dreamers. I know we’re not the only ones who feel that way.

Tus hijos, tu familia pueden ser tus almas gemelas, un alma gemela es una persona, o un alma –por así decirlo-, con la que te reconoces, te sientes cómodo, se sienten familiares. ¿Cuáles son los 4 tipos de conexiones de almas gemelas? 1. Twin flame. Para mi son los amores de verano, es esa persona que te hace sentir en la luna y te saca todas las emociones, sientes juegos artificiales. Característica: Esta persona tiene todo lo que te gusta de ti, prácticamente te enamoras de ti. Hay parejas que se casan a los 2 o 3 meses de haberse conocido, muy probablemente se casaron en ese periodo de twin flame, de emoción, de locura, pero al cabo de un año se pueden preguntar: ¿ajá y tú quien eres? ¿En qué momento terminé casándome contigo? Yo digo que los twin flames son para disfrutar, para pasarla bien. Ese amor se te pasará en 3 meses y quedará como un buen recuerdo.
2. Familia de alma. Este es un amor que se
siente familiar. Cuando te encuentras una familia de alma, el amor va a ser tranquilo, sin sobresaltos. El detalle es que no hay pasión, se vuelve como tu roommate, y hasta se comienzan a parecer físicamente, porque son familia de alma. Lo interesante es que, si han tenido 35 twin flame y ya están cansados de esa situación, te encuentras un familia de alma que no te da sobresaltos y dices: aquí me quedo. Características: La mayoría de personas que yo conozco, que tienen muchísimos años casados, por lo general son familia de alma. 3. Alma gemela. Hay más de un alma gemela.
Yo le digo a mis solteras que cuando estén pidiendo su alma gemela, la pidan lo más compatible con ustedes mismas, porque recuerden que el alma gemela no es lo que mucho imaginan, ir caminando por la playa, agarrados de la mano y nos salen corazones, no. El alma gemela por lo general viene a empujarte, a cuestionarte, y a moverte la estructura. Lo interesante de un alma gemela es que llega en el

There are billions of people in the world; 35 people can pass by you and you do not even notice them but usually you will see someone who catches your attention and that is called: a connection of souls. I want you to know that there are 4 different types of soulmate connections: What are the 4 types of twin soul connections? 1. Twin Flame: For me it's the summer loves. It's that person that makes you feel like you are on the moon and makes you lose your breath. You sense fireworks. Characteristics: This person has everything you like about a person; you practically fall in love with them at first sight. These are couples who can be married 2 or 3 months after they meet. Most likely they got married under the period of the Twin Flame. This is a time of great emotion and madness but after a year you can end up asking yourself, Who are you? At what point did I end up marrying you? I say that twin flames are meant to enjoy and have a good time. That love will pass in 3 months and it will be a good memory.
2. Family Of Soul: This is a love that feels
familiar. When you find a Family Of Soul, love will be calm and without fear. The detail is that there is no passion, your lover becomes your sort of roommate. Couples even begin to look like one another when they are Family Of Soul. FEBRUARY 2019 LA ISLA MAGAZINE.COM 45

El detalle es que te va a cuestionar absolutamente todo, por qué lo haces, cómo lo haces, prácticamente te va a volver loca(o). Yo estoy casada con un alma gemela y me vuelve loca, me cuestiona absolutamente todo. Esto es un alma gemela, no se confundan.
4. Alma gemela divina. Solo un alma
gemela divina, tiene absolutamente todo los elementos de los otros tres tipos de conexión de alma gemela. Características: Mucha pasión y juegos artificiales como el twin flame. Hay conexión importante del corazón como el alma gemela. Existe esa necesidad de empujarte, de moverte las estructuras, te ayuda ser mejor persona como el alma gemela. Hay familiaridad como la familia de alma. Tiene absolutamente todo, por eso es el alma gemela divina. El detalle, es que nunca viene en el paquete que te gusta. Me gustan altos y es bajito, me gustan rubios y es moreno, me gustan gorditos y es flaquito. Lo que tiene un alma gemela divina es que te permite ir más allá de la apariencia física y te lleva a un lugar mucho más profundo que es efectivamente el alma. Si puedes ver más allá de lo que crees que te gusta físicamente y realmente logras conectarte con esa persona desde el alma, entonces has pasado la prueba de un alma gemela divina. Recuerda, el alma gemela divina se te presenta una sola vez en la vida, si la conoces y no la eliges, significa que no estas lista(o) a nivel emocional y de evolución. 46 LA ISLA MAGAZINE.COM FEBRERO 2019
The interesting thing is that, if you have had 35 twin flame and are already tired of that situation, you find a family of soul that does not give you frights and you say: I'm staying right here stay. Characteristics: Most people I know who have been married for many years, are usually Family of Soul. They are people who are looking for the tranquility that makes them a Family Of Soul. If you are a very passionate and sexual human, than Family Of Soul is not for you!
3. Soulmate - There is more than one soulmate. I
tell single women that when they are asking for their Soul Mate, they are looking for the most compatible person with themselves. One must remember that your Soulmate in most cases is not what you have imagined; “walking on the beach, holding hands and limitless amount of love.” The Soulmate usually comes to push you, to question you and to move you forward. The interesting thing about a Soulmate is that they usually arrive at the moment that you need to make a change in your life. Characteristics: There is incredible chemistry like with Twin Flames. There is a connection as the soul family. You feel comfortable, you can talk and you feel that you can be vulnerable with that person. The detail is that your Soulmate is going to question absolutely everything: why you do it, how you do it, it is practically going to drive you crazy. I am married to a soul mate and it drives me crazy. He questions me about absolutely everything. This is a real Soulmate, do not get confused.
4. Divine Soulmate – Only a Divine Soulmate has
absolutely all the elements of the other three types of soul mate connections. Characteristics: Lots of passion and fire works like the Twin Flame. There is an important connection between a couples hearts, just like in Soulmates. There is that need to push you, to help move one forward and the relationship helps one another to be a better person and Soulmates. There is familiarity as the Soul Family. Your partner has absolutely everything, that's why he or she is the divine soul mate. The detail, is that it never comes in the package you like. I like tall but he is short, I like them blond, but he has brown hair, I like chubby but he is skinny. What makes up a Divine Soulmate is that they allow you to go beyond physical appearance and take you to a much deeper place that is effectively the soul.
¿Cómo mantener la chispa del amor? Yo creo que tiene que ver con el permitirte ser tú sin miedo a juzgarte y sin miedo a que te juzguen. Es una apertura completa, y para esto se necesita tiempo. Siempre he dicho que el primer año de matrimonio es el más difícil de todos, inclusive cuando se van a vivir juntos, porque es donde realmente empiezas a convivir con esa persona. Son personas que vienen de familias distintas y en mi caso de culturas distintas. (México – Estados Unidos). Yo creo lo fundamental es el factor sorpresa, éntrale a la rutina y se acabo el amor. ¿Qué tips en San Valentín nos puedes regalar para fortalecer el factor sorpresa? Yo creo que primero hay que identificar cuáles son tus lenguajes del amor, como te sientes amado. El libro “Los cinco lenguajes del amor”, te ayuda a identificar cómo te sientes amado. Por ejemplo, Lorena se siente amada con detalles, que el café este preparado, entre otras cosas. Pero hay personas que se sienten amadas cuando se les dedica tiempo, ejemplo: a tu pareja le gusta que lo escuches cuando te habla de sus cosas profesionales. Entonces yo creo que, para este San Valentín, lo importante es identificar cómo me siento amado porque los lenguajes de amor son completamente distintos entre una persona y otra. Muchos de los problemas de pareja tienen que ver con esto, pero si tú haces el trabajo de identificar cómo te sientes amado y lo comunicas amorosamente, será más fácil la convivencia.
If you can see beyond what you think you like physically and really manage to connect with that person from the soul, then you have passed the test of a Divine Soulmate. Remember, the Divine Soulmate is presented only once in your life. If you know it and do not choose it, it means that you are not ready (or) on an emotional and evolutionary level. How to keep the spark of love alive? I think it has to do with allowing you to be you without fear of judging yourself and without fear of being judged by your partner. It is a complete sharing of the soul and because of this it takes time. I have always said that the first year of marriage is the hardest of all; even when they are going to live together, because that is where you really start to live with that person. They are people who come from different families and in my case from different cultures. (Mexico - United States). I think the fundamental thing is the surprise factor, enter the routine and love is over. What tips on Valentine's Day can you give us to strengthen the surprise factor? I believe that first you have to identify what your languages of love are and how you feel loved. The book “The five languages of love”, helps you identify how you feel loved. For example, Lorena feels loved with details, that coffee is prepared, among other things. But there are people who feel loved when they are given time, example: your partner likes you to listen to him when he talks about his personal matters. So, I think that for this Valentine’s, the important thing is to identify how your partner feels loved because the languages of love are completely different between one person and another. Many of the couple's problems have to do with this but if you do the job of identifying how you feel loved and how your partner feels loved; communicate lovingly and coexistence will be easier.

Latin America’s Political Outlook For 2019 Por | By: Camilo Florido Este año comienzan las elecciones Presidenciales en Latinoamerica, El Salvador el 3 de Febrero, Panamá en Mayo, Guatemala en Junio, Argentina, Uruguay y Bolivia Octubre y, Cuba irá a un ¨Referéndum Constitucional¨, sin un régimen democrático. De esta manera se completa el calendario electoral de la región que inició en el año 2018, con importantes cambios políticos: Colombia, el Presidente Iván Duque quien prometió importantes cambios al proceso de paz efectuado con las FARC y ELN asi devolver la confianza internacional inversionista. México, con la llegada de AMLO - Manuel Lopez Obrador, se avecinan drásticos cambios en materia social. Brasil, con Bolsonaro promete mano dura con la delincuencia. Venezuela atraviesa una difícil realidad donde el pasado 10 de enero Nicolás Maduro tomó posesión de su segundo mandato ante el Tribunal Supremo de Justicia y no ante el Parlamento como lo ordena la Constitución, esto en medio del rechazo internacional y de sanciones impuestas por el gobierno de los Estados Unidos, la Unión Europea y algunos países de la región, el 23 de Enero varios paises del continente Americano en cabeza de Estados Unidos reconocieron a Juan Guaido como presidente interino de Venezuela, a fin de buscar la libertad y recuperar la democracia. In 2019 six elections and a referendum will play an important role in shaping Latin America's geopolitical landscape. This year, many Presidential elections will take place in Latin America: El Salvador in February 3, Panama in May, Guatemala in June, Argentina, Uruguay and Bolivia in October. Cuba will have a Constitutional Referendum, without an open democratic regime. (We at La Isla find this strange and un-democratic) This election will end the electoral calendar for region that began in 2018 with important political changes: Colombia President Duque has promised important changes in the peace process with the illegal terrorist group FARC and ELN. These changes are necessary for Colombia’s economy to restore international investor confidence. Mexico starts the year with a new political party in power; the AMLO. New President, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, ran and was elected on a platform committed to drastic social changes for the entire country of Mexico. Brazil’s new President Bolsonaro has made his number one objective about cracking down on crime and corruption. Venezuela is going through a difficult reality. Last January 10th, 2018 President Nicolás Maduro won his second term with the support of the Justices of the Supreme Court and not by the Parliament which is the constitutional norm. All of this is happening in the midst of international rejection and sanctions imposed by the governments of the United States, the European Union and some additional countries in the region. The most disputed presidential elections will be held in Argentina. President Mauricio Macri, has shown signs of seeking re-election, who could face ex-president Cristina Fernández.

quien podría enfrentarse a la exmandataria Cristina Fernández. Bolivia, Evo Morales aspira a un cuarto periodo pese al referéndum de 2016 que denegó su posibilidad de volver a postularse. Por lo tanto el calendario electoral comienza el 3 de Febrero en El Salvador y concluye con un superdomingo, el 27 de octubre, en el que se juegan las presidenciales de Argentina, Uruguay y Bolivia. Referéndum a la cubana El referéndum para ratificar el proyecto de una nueva Constitución en Cuba quedó programado para el 24 de febrero de 2019. La nueva Constitución reconoce el mercado y la propiedad privada como parte de su economía socialista y apunta a renovar la Carta Magna vigente desde 1976. La futura Constitución modifica 113 artículos, añade 87 y elimina 11 respecto de la actual Constitución, reflejando los cambios económicos que vive el país a raíz de las reformas implementadas durante la Presidencia de Raúl Castro (2008-2018), pero no contemplará reformas políticas ni una apertura hacia la democracia. Esto refuerza las reformas aplicadas por Raúl Castro desde 2006, que legalizaron negocios al margen del Estado en ciertos sectores como la hostelería, el transporte y otros servicios, que se han mantenido con el Presidente Díaz-Canel tras asumir el poder en Abril pasado.
Bolivia’s Indigenous leftist President Evo Morales will make an attempt at being elected for his fourth term despite the 2016 referendum that denied his possibility to re-run. Latin America’s electoral calendar begins on February 3 in El Salvador and concludes with a super Sunday, on October 27, in which the presidential elections of Argentina, Uruguay and Bolivia will take place. Referendum in Cuba: The referendum to ratify the 1st draft of a new Constitution in Cuba is scheduled for February 24, 2019. The new Constitution recognizes the market and private property as part of its socialist economy and aims to renew the Constitution in force since 1976. The future Constitution modifies 113 articles, adds 87 and eliminates 11 regarding the current Constitution. These developments reflect the economic changes that Cuba has been experiencing as a result of the reforms implemented during the Presidency of Raúl Castro (2008-2018).These changes will not reflect political reforms or an opening towards democracy, however. These changes in Cuba’s constitution will reinforce the reforms implemented by Raúl Castro since 2006, which legalized businesses outside the State in certain sectors such as hotels, transportation and other services which have been maintained with President Díaz-Canel after taking office last April. RECETA DE PASTEL SALUDABLE Y RICO EN 7 MINUTOS. (2 capas) INGREDIENTES MEZCLA: • 2 huevos • 1 taza de harina de avena • 1 taza de calabaza o boniato • 4 cdas endulzante (monk fruit) • 2 cdas de cacao • 1 cdta polvo de hornear • 1 cda mantequilla de maní o mantequilla • 1 cda pumpkins pie spice • 1/4 taza de pasas y chips de chocolate PREPARACIÓN [1] Coloca en la licuadora los ingredientes de la mezcla [2] coloca en un molde de silicona de 23 cm x 4 cm o molde de muffins, agrega las pasas y los chips. AL MICROONDAS Cocina 7 min total: [1] Primero introdúcelo y cocina por solo 4 min. [2] Revísalo y cocina por 2 min más y luego si es necesario cocina por 1 minuto más. (puede ser menos o más, recuerda que los microondas son distintos) lo importante es estar pendiente.[3] Para cupcakes sólo necesitarás 2 min en total: empezar con 1:30 min y luego el resto.

PARA DECORAR Mezcla la ricotta con 1 cda de monk fruit, vainilla y agrega frutas. ¡Con la misma receta también puedes hacer este pastel de chocolate!

HEALTHY AND DELICIOUS “PASTEL” / “Cake” Recipe IN 7 MINUTES. (2 layers)
INGREDIENTS MIXTURE • 2 eggs • 1 cup of oatmeal • 1 cup of pumpkin or sweet potato • 4 tbsp. Sweetener (monk fruit) • 2 tbsp. of cocoa • 1 tsp baking powder • 1 tbsp. peanut butter or butter • 1 tbsp. pumpkin pie spice • 1/4 cup raisins and chocolate chips DECOR • 1 cup of ricotta • 1 tsp vanilla • 1 lemon grated • 1 cup of fruit (your choice)

PREPARATION [1] Place the ingredients of the mixture in the blender [2] Place in a 23 cm x 4 cm silicone mold or muffin mold, add the raisins and chips. PLACE IN MICROWAVE [1] First cook in microwave for 4 min. [2] Check and cook for 2 more minutes. If necessary, cook for 1 more minute. (It may be less or more, remember that microwaves vary) Be attentive while cooking.[3] For cupcakes you will only need 2 min in total: start with 1:30 and then the check the cake.
BAKED 25 min at 200 °C / 400 °F On Stovetop in frying pan: [1] Place half of the mixture in a fry pan, making large pancakes. Cover the fry pan and cook over low heat.[2] When you see lots of bubbles, turn and cook until brown on other side. TO DECORATE Mix the ricotta cheese with 1 tsp of monk fruit, vanilla and add fruits. You can also make this a chocolate cake with the same recipe!
