HOW DO WE HANDLE GRIEF IN THESE CHALLENGING CIRCUMSTANCES FOR US? In recent months we have been faced with difficult circumstances such as, not being able to attend with the same tranquility to spaces where we could share with others, or share in the same way with our loved ones; However, we have also been faced with the physical loss of many people, so this time I want to talk to you about grief, the phases we go through and the importance of asking for help when they need it. In the first part there is denial, that which makes us reject the reality or fact that occurs in terms of loss. Then follows the stage of anger, which produces resentment towards what is causing so much pain. Then comes the stage of bargaining and depression, the latter characterized by an increase in feelings of sadness, fear, uncertainty, before what will come. Finally, there is the acceptance stage where the person comes to an agreement with the event or situation that produced the pain, understanding the meaning of life.
