La crisis política ha alcanzado un punto de quiebre, especialmente después de las recientes elecciones, donde el Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE), bajo el control del régimen, declaró a Nicolás Maduro como vencedor con el 51,20% de los votos, sin ofrecer pruebas detalladas o auditar el proceso de manera transparente. Sin embargo, la oposición, liderada por Edmundo González Urrutia y María Corina Machado, ha demostrado una determinación incansable por preservar la verdad y justicia, publicando más del 80% de las actas de escrutinio, que revelan que Edmundo González recibió el 67% de los votos.
A pesar de las amenazas y los intentos del régimen por destruir las pruebas, los esfuerzos de la oposición para rescatar y proteger estas actas reflejan claramente una firme determinación por la justicia. María Corina Machado, conocida como la "Dama de Hierro" de Venezuela, ha sido un símbolo de resistencia y valentía. In the heart of Latin America, Venezuela is facing one of the most critical moments in its history. The political crisis has reached a breaking point, especially after the recent elections, where the National Electoral Council (CNE), under the control of the regime, declared Nicolás Maduro the winner with 51.20% of the votes, without providing detailed evidence or auditing the process transparently. However, the opposition, led by Edmundo González Urrutia and María Corina Machado, has shown tireless determination to preserve truth and justice, publishing over 80% of the vote tally sheets, revealing that González received 67% of the votes.
Despite threats and the regime's attempts to destroy evidence, the opposition's efforts to rescue and protect these records clearly reflect a firm commitment to justice. María Corina Machado, known as Venezuela's "Iron Lady," has been a symbol of resistance and courage. Although disqualified from running for office, her dedication to democracy has not wavered. Alongside González, Machado has led a movement that represents the hope for real change in Venezuela. The U.S. State Department's statement highlights the lack of credibility in the results announced by the CNE and supports the opposition's claims. traditions of each country, creating a deep connection among its people and revealing more similarities than differences.

Authenticity, pride, and resilience are characteristics that define Hispanic communities and inspire tourists from around the world to explore these destinations. Las clases han vuelto y eso significa que hay más tráfico en las carreteras por la mañana y por la tarde. Los días son más cortos, por lo que la percepción de profundidad, el reconocimiento de colores y la visión lateral pueden verse afectados o reducidos al anochecer.
• Controle la seguridad contra incendios en su hogar. Asegúrese de que la calefacción y el aire acondicionado reciban mantenimiento con regularidad y funcionen bien. Este es un buen momento para que
inspeccionen su chimenea, ya que las temperaturas más frías están a la vuelta de la esquina.
• La gente tiende a usar más velas en otoño. Asegúrese de apagar las velas antes de salir de una habitación (cuando salga, apáguelas). Observe dónde coloca las velas porque una mesa de café baja no es segura cuando tiene niños pequeños y mascotas. Mantenga las velas alejadas de las cortinas y la ropa de cama.

IT'S FALL! HERE ARE SOME AUTUMN SAFETY TIPS

School is back and that means more traffic on the roads in the morning and late afternoon. Days are shorter so depth perception, recognizing colors and your side vision can be compromised or reduced at dusk.
• Check on your fire safety in your home. Make sure your heat and air conditioning are serviced regularly and working well. This is a good time to have your fireplace inspected as well as cooler temperatures are right around the corner.
• People tend to use more candles in the fall. Be sure to blow out candles before you leave a room (when you go out – blow out)
. Watch where you place candles because a low coffee table is not safe when you have small children and pets. Keep candles away from curtains and bedding.
• This is a good time to check your smoke alarms. Take a look at the underside of the alarm to look for the manufacturer date. If it is more than 10 years old, replace the entire alarm. The sensors that sense smoke
and flames will not work very well after 10 years and after 20 years, they may not work at all. We are happy to help with new smoke alarms and battery changes. Call us at 843-682-5141.
• Wildlife is on the move in the fall, so watch carefully for deer and other critters crossing the road. They are most active from dusk to dawn. Some animals travel in groups so if you see one crossing, more could be behind.
• When seasons change, it is a good time to get ride of unnecessary clutter in your garage which tends to be one of those places we accumulate a lot of stuff! Stacks of old magazines and newspapers are fire hazards. Recycle what you can and store any others in a plastic or metal
storage bin (not a cardboard box) away from heaters or heat producing appliances. Half empty containers of chemicals also tend to pile up in the garage.
• Find out how to dispose of hazardous chemicals like pesticides, fuels and cleaning supplies. Many times there is information on the container itself.
