Parking Lot Safety Tips
It is important to be cautious and aware of your surroundings when walking to and from your vehicle, particularly when walking after dark or by yourself.
Carry your vehicle key fob in your hand with your finger on the alarm button to activate your car horn if someone is making you feel uncomfortable Do not wait for the person to get close to you
If you see cameras on buildings or poles, park your vehicle near them
When parking your vehicle, look for places you could run to or things you could hide behind if someone was to chase after you.
