LECOM Celebrates Annual Student Scholarship Auction

Erie’s LECOM Student Scholarship Auction took place Nov. 16 at the Bayfront Convention Center, bringing together leaders, providers, professors, staff and students, and the greater Erie Community. The event included a dinner with both live and silent auctions, with all proceeds benefiting our LECOM Student Scholarship Fund.

Wins First Place in Marc A. Karpo Poster Contest

LECOM School of Podiatric Medicine’s Michael Hankins, D.P.M., (Acting Dean), Maria Trejo, and Austin Pense (Class of 2027), participated in the 8th Annual Marc A. Karpo Poster Contest at the Goldfarb Clinical Conference. They won first place in the scientific category for their poster titled, “Prevalence of Common Accessory Ossicles of the Foot and Ankle in a Community Hospital Patient Population: A Retrospective Radiographic Study of 374 Patients in Northwestern Pennsylvania ”

Millcreek Community Hospital has launched an expanded Hospitalist Program Dr Blair Gorniak will join Dr Eric Milie and his colleagues to focus on delivering high-quality care and ensuring that every patient receives the attention and care they need from admission to discharge.
