Stavanger is the only city in Norway to boast a two-star Michelin Guide restaurant. It is a city renowned for its fine dining, fresh produce, seafood, café culture and nightlife scene that makes it one of Norway’s most buzzing seaside resorts and very popular city break destination.

DAY 1

Arrive in Stavanger and get set for the Fire Lake Restaurant

On arrival at Stavanger Airport Sola, guests will be greeted and transferred on the short journey downtown to the Radisson Blu Atlantic.

Following check in, guests are invited to meet and greet drinks where your tour guide will give a short presentation of your tour. Guests can then enjoy free time ahead of dinner. Your first night gets you off to a great start for your gourmet adventure, by dining in the in-house Fire Lake, a contemporary grill restaurant. This is a concept born in Minnesota and now available in Stavanger. With a strong Nordic influence, Fire Lake is an amazing barbecue grill restaurant, offering a truly stunning cuisine and dining experience, setting you up for the rest of your visit.

DAY 2

Stavanger Food Walk & Delicacy Adventure

Following breakfast, guests will be met by your local tour guide and then be taken on a fully guided city tour and the Stavanger Food Walk.

You will take in the famous “Street of Colours” and then stop off at Chilli Chocolate, to sample glorious chocolate and confectionery delicacies made from local ingredients and exquisitely made by the expert chocolatier.

Time for Seafood

Following a further tour of the city, guest will then head to Stavanger’s famous fish market where you will sit down at the Fisketorget restaurant and enjoy the finest seafood on offer anywhere in Norway.

The atmosphere is truly inspiring and you will get a real sense of the rich history Stavanger has as one of the main regions of Norway when it comes to fishing and seafood. Following lunch, guests can enjoy some free time in the city for sightseeing and shopping, before heading back to your hotel in preparation for dinner.

A Night Under the Michelin Stars

After your busy day, it’s time to unwind and relax. Guests will dine at the Two Star Michelin Restaurant, RE-NAA. Examples of delicacies included on the menu might be: • Squid, seaweed butter, salted lemon and black garlic • Dry-aged quail from Tau, young beetroot and salted cherries

DAY 3

Lervig Brewery Tour & Sushi Stars

After breakfast, you will be collected by your guide and head off for a tour of the Lervig Brewery, Stavanger’s award winning craft brewery, set in stunning surroundings, in the most affluent part of Stavanger. Here guests will undertake a full tour of the brewery and then try a range of speciality craft beers and relax and listen to the story of the brewery and the rich history of this area of Stavanger.

Cheese after Beer

From beer to cheese. On the way to your next stop for cheese tasting, there will be time for a virtual reality experience in the Viking House downtown. Just next to the quay side, you will board a longboat sailing experience and equipped with VR glasses and narration in English you will be taken on a fantastic virtual reality experience of what life was like as a Viking.

After this experience you will head for the Ostehuset in the eastern part of the city. For almost 20 years, Ostehuset has left its mark on the food culture in Stavanger. Guests will be treated to a cheese tasting buffet, followed by lunch. After lunch you will have time to enjoy the bustling atmosphere in the city, before heading back to the hotel to prepare for the evenings highlight.

Sushi Stars

Your final evening of dining will see guests experience the fabulous Michelin Star SABI OMAKASE, Norway’s best sushi restaurant.
