WHAT'S POPPIN', DRAGONS?
My name is Mai Vu, and I am very excited to introduce myself as your next Lieutenant Governor for the 2020-21 term! Key Club has truly been the defining piece of my high school career, and I want to continue to foster an environment within our division for new Key Club moments to be made. Although we couldn't start off the term in person in light of the sudden outbreak of COVID-19, you've all proven to me that it takes a lot more than a virus to stop our division from coming together to serve our community. From all the home clubs that have been hosting at-home service projects, to our division-wide See a memory, Share a memory, to our high attendance at our virtual April DCM, our division is setting an example that we can and will overcome these adversities, and that we will make the most out of our circumstances. Thank you for continuing to inspire me. I'm very lucky to be able to call myself a Dragon!

HEY DRAGONS!
As DLT applications open, I encourage you all to apply and proudly serve Division 04 West. Taking the initiative to join this previous year has profoundly impacted my life positively. Through Key Club, I have been able to obtain the skills needed to be a leader and hard worker, while making friends who share the same passion as me- helping the community. At first glance, the roles of DLT may seem tedious, but I can reassure you that it's nothing like that. DLT is a collective of hardworking people who are always there to uplift you and help you when needed. As long as you stay committed, there's really no problem. Despite the obstacles we face now with this pandemic, I'm sure this year has a lot of great events in store and Mai, our lovely Lt. Gov, undoubtedly has a lot to offer as the term approaches.

RODEO RUN DYLAN PHAM, HUNTINGTON BEACH
The rodeo run event was very exciting. It was a Wild West themed marathon. The event was fairly early in the morning. When I got there, everything was almost already set up. I had to gather everyone together to get ready to volunteer. Everyone was given a vest and an interesting, little orange hat to wear as a uniform. We then split off into groups, and I was separated from the majority of the members. However, everyone seemed to have a good time by helping out even though it was raining. Some groups passed out waters, while others cheered the runners. There were also some groups that were in charge of handing snacks to give out to runners. In my case specifically, my group was taken to the end of the course and controlled the turnaround point for the 5K and 10K runners. Overall, it was a very remarkable event with lots of smiles and joy.
BEACH CLEAN UP TONY TRAN, MARINA
Hi my name is Tony Tran and I attended the Beach Clean Up event. During the event, I was tasked with cleaning up the beach by collecting and throwing away pieces of trash. My favorite part of the event was that I was able to socialize with my friends and other fellow Key Club members. Being able to work together with your friends for the betterment of the environment really made the event that much more worthwhile. The event was coordinated very well as members were still able to remain on task, while having fun. One thing that could be improved on is the duration of the event. Having an hour or two more would have resulted in a larger amount of trash being thrown away. Something I learned at this event was that by working together, we can really impact our environment in a positive way. I would attend this event again because it allows me to directly help my environment, while hanging out with others that have the same goal in mind.

OC Lunch Bag is an event where I think several people can attend and gain easy hours and

connections with many people. It was 03-08-2020 and once I got there, there was the right amount of people. I saw students from Ocean view and many more. We were able to make more than 200 bags for the people in need. I and some other students were able to make transitions from the packing station where we pack everything on the bags such as the oranged, sandwiches and water to place them ready. After that I was able to make notes for the packaging in the bags. At first it went by very slow but as the time started passing by it had gotten fast and we saw progress. I believe that it was a very successful event and the process was very prominent.
