MILTON

What's Up Dragons? The month of May has truly been a blast with many club accomplishments and Division events. May is one of those months where school is beginning to wind down for many Key Clubbers. Luckily, this means that we are pumping up! I hope you Dragons are excited for our upcoming Beach Events and DCMs! With events ranging from the Monarch Butterfly event to the annual Officer Training Conference, to our upcoming Beach Boomba Region event, don't think that Key Club will ever run out of events for you dragons to join in on. Seriously. We will never run out of events. On another note, our wonderful Division News Editor, Leslie Casillas, has created our second monthly newsletter for all to enjoy (AND WE ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE HER). Please send her all of your thanks and wishes. In fact, if you have read this far into this message, you are a true Dragon! (And if you ask me how I feel the next time you see me, you'd better believe that I w i l l s c r e a m m y l u n g s o u t ! ) -DIEGO SOLORIO, LT. GOVERNOR 3

SOCIAL

During the event, we went on a 5-6 mile hike through the Crystal Cove State Park. My favorite part of the event was spending time with others, laughing through memorable times, because spending time with my friends provides me happiness and enjoying life at its finest. The event coordinators organized the event pretty well, as they made sure that everyone was not behind and safe throughout the hiking social. The event could have improved by consisting of various snacks for the satisfaction for the people, it would have been appreciated if the event started a bit earlier, due to complications. We learned at this event that we could explore the glorious nature with our friends, by hiking next to the beach. We would all attend this event again because accordingly to the majority of the people who went to the event, it was very enjoyable and satisfying to admire the mountains and the beach.

For the school cleanup, we were able to walk all around campus and clean up any trash we saw. We had separate bags for non-recyclable trash and another for cans and bottles. The experience was great and an eye-opener. As pollution increases over the years, it’s important to try and help our environment as much as possible. This was a great experience that we would like to organize again not only at our school but perhaps a local park. It was also a fun way to bond with our other members.
