A word from the Boss
ROSS EMBLETON CHALLENGING WEEK FOR THE O’S
“We’ve bounced back from a number of setbacks in recent times. The Tottenham game is a huge disappointment for everybody.
CHELTENHAM TOWN
“Cheltenham are a good team. They’re the type of team that can do most things required at this level. I fully respect their manager and I like what they’re about as a team.
CONTINUING A GOOD START TO THE SEASON
“We’ve learned that we don’t always need to be the best team on the pitch, of course, we aspire to be that but at times there needs to be more grit and determination. That’s something we’ve added to our focus; being able to win when we’re not always the better team.”

Captain’s column
JOBI McANUFF A FRUSTRATING PERIOD
“It’s been a disappointing couple of weeks for everyone at the football club in terms of what we’ve missed out on. Having the chance to play Spurs, the finances that come with that – but the health of everyone at the club is the most important thing. Thankfully no one has been too badly affected by the outbreak and that’s one positive we can take out of a difficult situation.”
MENTALITY
“It’s another bump in the road. This is a resilient group, top to bottom. We’ve used setbacks to drive us forward before and we certainly will be doing the same this time around.”
CHELTENHAM TOWN
“They’re a very good team that we know well. They missed out on the play-offs last year and that shows their quality. Looking at us; we’ve come on leaps and bounds from last year and we have the opportunity to show that against a side we expect to be strong again this season.”
GOAL OF THE MONTH
“I’ve been pleased with the start of the season, from a team perspective and personally. To play in the games I have, and to score that goal; it’s a great start to the season and I hope there’s a few more to come. There were a couple of tidy goals this month so thanks to everyone who voted for me!”

HOW MUCH COULD YOUR BUSINESS SAVE?
OUSS CISSÈ +++++ JOINING PERMANENTLY

LAST CLASH
A late Reuben Reid goal condemned Leyton Orient to a 2-1 defeat at Cheltenham Town last season. In wet and wild conditions in Gloucestershire it was the O’s who took a freak lead on 17 minutes when goalkeeper Evans’ clearance hit Conor Wilkinson and ended up in the back of the net. However, the Robins were level within a minute as Alfie May fired home after Luke Varney’s shot deflected into his path and Reid struck to snatch all three points.
