RachelHeer played Mable, theleadfemale character, and Johnny Prettyman played Frederick, the lead male character.

Intheplay, Frederick'sparentsgivehisgoverness Ruth (played by Elizabeth Burns) orders to train Frederick to be a pilot. Ruth misunderstands their ordersand trains him to beapirate instead Ruthwantsto marryFrederick.He agrees to marry her until he meets Mable, the daughter of Major General Stanley(playedbyJoe Gray). Frederick then denounces Ruth and plansto marryMable

After Ruth discovers this, she and the pirateking (played by Luke Woodard) persuade Frederick to come back to her. Frederick, beingtrue to his duties, goesback, no matterwhat the cost.

The piratesattemptto takethe majorgeneral'swards, but the police rescue them just in time Ruththen convincesthe policethatthe piratesare gentlemengone bad, and theyarepardoned

The endingleadsthe audiencetobelievethatFrederick will marry his truelove, Mable.

Heer's role is adream come true for her. "Eversince I saw the show when Iwas nineyears old, Iwanted to playMable,"shesaid "Once I was in thechorus in a professional production of 'The Piratesof Penzance.' Now my dream has come trueafterseeing theshow numerous times."

The play was directed by Dr.Wayne Kompelien. Othercastmembersincluded: ChristianVandenheuvel, Sergeant of Police;Dorie Donaldson, Edith; Carrie Moore, Katie; and JenniferRoberts, Isabel.
