and Service Activities. Lion Mike Sarin is doing a great service in making our Lions and communities aware of Diabetes. Our GLT and GMT teams have put on several in-services meetings and the response has been very favorable. We are not only growing our numbers, but have also started another new club. There is also a possibility of starting two more clubs. We lost two clubs but the Governors’ team is working hard to revive Hamilton East. We have also revived our University Of Toronto campus club. At the time of printing our Newsletter, we are actually in the plus numbers this year. Our Global Action Team has been hard at work with a great focus on service activities and projects. The team is putting a lot of emphasis in the areas of better recognition of the Lions clubs, their objectives and gaining potential new members.

Namaste I believe we are on the right path regarding our commitment of serving our communities and making a difference in their lives. Our clubs are very much involved and the “Power of We” is highly visible. Over the last two months, we have noticed that the clubs have been very active and involved in a number of community service projects. The projects included a lot of fun in such activities as Halloween parties, Christmas Parades and multiple projects with and for the Youth and the Seniors, In my visitations to the clubs I have made the clubs aware of the “Power of Action” and how important it is at the club level for Leadership, Membership

Here, a mention must also be made about our dedicated Convention Committee for 2018. They are tirelessly working hard towards an exciting program for the whole weekend. Thank you for contributing collectively to Serve and Support the “Power of We” and thereby enriching the lives of those who are either less fortunate or are left behind in the communities they live in.
