VICE-CHANCELLOR’S SCHOLARSHIP
OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIPS
A highly prestigious award for outstanding students; the value and quantity of awards available to be announced.
Open to all UK or ROI students from a black, Asian or minority ethnic group. Applicants must have engaged in one or more of LJMU’s sustained outreach activities and have LJMU as your first (firm) choice via UCAS. A maximum of 85 awards of £1,000 available each year for the duration of your course (excluding placement years).
COMMUNITY EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS For excellence in areas such as volunteering, sports, the arts or citizenship; a maximum of 60 awards of £1,000 per year for the duration of your course.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP Rewards academic excellence (at least 3 A grades at A2 or equivalent – 144 UCAS points) 60 awards available, £1,000 per year for the duration of your course.
SIR BERT MASSIE SCHOLARSHIP Recognising Sir Bert Massie, national disability rights champion and alumnus of LJMU. We are looking to award £10,000 to an outstanding disabled student who has campaigned for inclusion or championed inclusion in some way.
