Stuart Roper is a Wantage based artist and illustrator. He was brought up and trained in Scotland and moved to Oxfordshire in the early eighties. He is best known for his lively pen and wash illustrations and paintings, which demonstrate his ability to capture the essence of the subject with a few deft lines and brush strokes. His much loved Jericho mural received great acclaim from the local community and even affected the planning decision on the derelict building on which it was sited. Stuart also works in gouache and acrylics. Both media enable the artist to explore the bolder palette of the Scottish colourists who have influenced his work for many years. His work can be found in a number of private collections throughout Europe, galleries in the South of England and at www.widcombehouse.co.uk

WHO’S NEXT?

Business Update “Making Faringdon a destination”, so says the strap line for GSC Estates’ scheme at Park Road between the Esso garage and the A420. Potential occupiers such as Aldi, a “little Waitrose” and a Costa Coffee “drive-thru” could be opening up by the end of next year. Consultation has started already with a public exhibition and a planning application should be made soon. But what do you think? Will this be the final nail in the coffin for the town centre, or will it be an opportunity to tempt people from the by-pass to come and explore our town? Just in case you had been hibernating recently, you should be aware that we have an election just around the corner – to decide who governs our country as well as who leads our district council. The Chamber of Commerce are holding a

“Hustings for Business” on Monday 9th March at 7pm at The Sudbury House where all of the parties standing in our constituency will be represented. It promises to be an interesting evening to hear what our politicians have in store for businesses both on a national and local level. This event is open to all, but numbers are limited. If you would like to attend, please contact president@faringdonchamberofcommerce.co.uk And that’s just the half of it – elsewhere, exciting news is anticipated about superfast broadband finally coming to the town centre and the decision on our Faringdon town team. What this space!

Faringdon Business Breakfast Club There was a somewhat “alternative” therapies theme to proceedings at this month’s Faringdon Business Breakfast Club, for on the attendee list we had a hypnotherapist, a chiropractor and a threesome from an insurance company specialising in yoga and holistic therapies. It didn’t stop there, for our speaker, Graham Dawson was going to speak about the benefits of “equine facilitated learning and coaching”. This was to be a fascinating insight into the world of using horses to teach us about ourselves in such varied contexts as dealing with trauma, helping disadvantaged children and corporate team-building. It turns out that horses are ideal for this, being a “half tonne instant non-judgemental feedback mechanism”. Horses have a very high level of emotional intelligence, more so it would seem than a lot of humans. This sense of well being can be harnessed through a series of simple exercises to build trust between the person and the horse and achieve outstanding outcomes. I’ll not look at a horse in the same way again! On 2nd March, regular member and local social media guru, Mary Thomas, will be taking another look at the ever changing world of facebook, twitter et al with a talk on “Putting the Social back in Social Media”. FBBC is open to all and costs just £10 per meeting. If you are interested in coming, please visit the club’s website http://www.fbbc-networking.co.uk or reserve your place by calling 0845 003 1340. Meetings start at 7:30am at The Sudbury House. Breakfast is included.

Cream Vegetable Crumble

Winter moving in to spring brings pearly white cauliflowers, slender leeks, crinkly cabbages and sweet parsnips amongst many earthy vegetables. These little treasures are versatile, don't cost the earth and taste lovely. I love it when I get a vegetable delivery at Hare in the Woods and I can stack everything up in blocks of colour. It kind of brings a spark of life to the end of the shop where the vegetables live and the feeling of choosing something to cook with is rather fine. And then the thought of what I can cook with them. It could very simply be a smooth silky soup with carrot or butternut squash, laced with Parmesan cheese or a colourful tray of roasted vegetables with those black tinged edges which taste particularly lovely. Chunky root vegetable mash to replace potato for the top of a cottage pie or indeed a bubbling gratin straight from the oven. Make the most of these cold evenings. Find yourself a robust oven proof dish and get the oven fired up to around 200째C. Choose your vegetables and peel and chop into chunky cubes. Lay into the dish, season and drizzle with some oil. Rape seed is good. Roast for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, make a crumble mix by rubbing flour and half the amount of butter together with a handful of oats. Once all the butter has been rubbed in, add a handful of herbs like chopped parsley, thyme leaves and chopped rosemary fronds. Once the vegetables are tender, spoon in double cream and a big spoon of mustard. Stir to make even, then scatter over the crumble mix. Bake for another 20-25 minutes until crunchy and bubbling. Serve with a salad of punchy winter leaves and glass of Coleshill cider, hot or cold. A tree lies dormant in winter. It loses its leaves, cell division slows and growth rate reduces. This big gesture is driven by the tree’s reduction in energy consumption. There is not enough sunlight to make as much food and so everything slows down. Now, imagine if you will, a tree that goes against its inner wisdom and defies its genetic programming by staying up late. A tree that carries on working too hard, striving, growing and achieving through the winter. This crazy tree will be in no state to blossom in the spring, it will have no reserves and will be unrested. In practice, it’s really hard for us to hibernate and fully recharge our batteries. Our modern world dictates we must work hard throughout all seasons, push ourselves in all directions and be all things to all people. If we haven’t let go of things in autumn and deeply rested ourselves in winter, then we can get agitated in spring. We can feel stuck, stressed, irritable, forgetful and foggy headed. Old health conditions can return, such as hay fever, skin complaints and migraines. New conditions can arise and we are more susceptible to flu and pneumonia. In short, we can feel out of sorts and stop functioning so well. Acupuncture and massage can help to right the wrongs of winter’s weariness. To align yourself with the season, here are some health tips for spring: Ÿ Use a hairbrush with rounded bristles to tap up the inside and down the outside of your legs. Do this for about five minutes and it will gently stimulate channels that most need to flow this time of year. Ÿ Drink a cup of warm water with a squeeze of lemon, first thing in the morning and leave 20 minutes before eating anything. This helps to detox the body and sets up your digestion for the day. Ÿ Start exercising more and introducing some vigorous exercise. It is important to keep your body supple, flexible and invigorated in spring to avoid stagnation and feeling sluggish. Ÿ Eat more green vegetables, sprouts from seeds and food rich in chlorophyll. Cook food at a higher temperature and for a shorter time so that is still a little crunchy. Ÿ Tune into the new season with some acupuncture or a Chinese therapeutic massage..

Book a free consultation (15 minutes) or a half price first treatment (1 hour), during Acupuncture Awareness Week in March. Contact Rachel now, whilst places are still available.

Mothers Day 15th March 3 Course Sunday Lunch Menu £25 per person Little Coxwell, Nr Faringdon, Oxfordshire. SN7 7LW Tel: 01367 241879 Email: eaglelittlecoxwell@gmail.com

Taste Of The Season The Eagle Tavern has now compiled its new winter/spring menu, and to launch it, I was invited to a 5 Course Dinner Tasting Evening. The weather, being typical for this time of year, was full of rain and very cold, thank goodness for the two open fires that welcomed us. The Eagle has a lovely warm and welcoming feel to it. It’s a place you can sit down and relax in, a place to take the hassles of the day away with a good glass of wine and a very special meal by the Professional Master Chef 2013 Contestant Marcel Nerpas. We were shown to our table and it was a pleasure to meet experienced front of house staff, well informed and able to answer any questions regarding the food or wine list. Once settled with a very delicious glass of wine, a Merlot from Tulbagh Winery in South Africa, we were presented with Watercress Veloute. The dish was served in a white cup and saucer which emphasized the beautiful green colour of the watercress soup, so prettily presented, delicately flavoured and topped with cream and croutons. To follow; Home cured Sea Trout, beetroot, piccalilli cauliflower and horseradish tofu. I found a small amount of each on the fork melted perfectly in your mouth, what a lovely combination. Rose Veal followed. A grilled fillet of Mount Grace Farm veal, caramelised sauerkraut, potato gratin cake, wilted greens and a grain mustard sauce. The veal was so tender, it just melted in your mouth. The combination of caramelised sauerkraut, creamy potato gratin cake, greens and mustard sauce combined to make the most delightful main course. We then cleansed the palate with Rhubarb Sorbet. The meal was completed with Passion fruit & White Chocolate. This was spectacular - a white chocolate egg filled with coconut sponge and a passion fruit curd. I could eat this dish over and over again! Our meal was topped off with coffee and delicious Petit fours. Marcel is a talented Chef, and his menu offers something for everyone, from fish & Chips, burgers and steak to Sea Trout, Rabbit or Veal. Presentation is important to Marcel and this can be seen in the beautiful dishes he creates. His menu offers something to satisfy everyone in a warm and friendly Old English Tavern. Tuesday – Friday: 12:00 till 15:00 and then 17:30 – 23:00 Saturday: 12:00 till 23:00 Sunday: 12:00 till 17:00

cm Hair The highly talented, Guild of Master Craftsmen, Shane Evans of cm Hair very kindly invited me over to The Rookery where, situated on the 2nd floor, he has his exquisite Biophilic cm Hair Studio. Shane is very aware of the environment we all live in and applies his Biophilic philosophy to his surroundings, products and style. His studio has been carefully put together, influenced by his love of the natural environment. The mirrors have been framed by himself with old reconditioned wood. A refurbished church pulpit is his reception desk, which gives a really pleasant quirkiness to the place. The comfortable styling chairs were found on an auction site. Shane managed to put the whole studio together for an unbelievable £460, looking at it you would have thought it had cost him an absolute fortune! Just goes to show what you can do with a little passion, an eye for detail and a desire to re-use, recycle and reduce waste. His personality and taste is reflected in his styling and his easy going nature makes an appointment with him a pleasure. On arriving Shane settles you down with a coffee or beverage of choice, then he has a good look at your hair. He looks at the style and condition your hair is currently in as well as asking a few questions regarding what you would like to achieve. Maybe a new style? Has your current style been easy to manage? He then looks at what he can suggest to make your hair work for you and your ability to manage the style at home. Rest assured with 28 years of hairdressing, many of these spent as an educator with the likes of Vidal Sassoon, HOB, and Francesco, in America, Europe and of course Great Britain, his advice is grounded and practical. Once Shane has a good idea of your needs and what he needs to do to get your hair to that place, he takes you for a superb hair wash and head massage. Keeping the environment in mind there is no wasting of water, seven minutes to rinse hair unlike other hair salons where the tap is left running! Shane uses top of the range hair products ALTERNA which is endorsed by Katie Holmes. This product is premium and is, the most expensive product I have ever used on my hair but one shampoo and one condition and my hair feels unbelievable! Each hair strand feels thicker and much stronger as well as the colour being more intense! I have to tell you my hair was in very bad shape, all self inflicted from years of highlights and straightening, I had a head full of split and broken ends, very fine and dull, but all that is in the past now. Shane very kindly gave me a sample of ALTERNA to take home, so I am certain it was the product that has had such a remarkable affect on my hair! Shane uses ALTERNA products on all his clients, unlike most salons, with Shane, you get the best every time! Oh my goodness then came the scalp massage, I was away with the fairies, simply brilliant! We then started with the cut. Shane sectioned my hair and explained the different cutting techniques which could be used, what had been used and why he would be using another method to achieve the look I'd like to have. Shane took his time with each section. I have to admit I could see a considerable difference in my hair when he was finished, gone were the fluffy ends and a new fuller head of hair emerged with a slight lift achieved by a slight undercut. Shane completed my cut with a blow dry using an eco friendly hairdryer, which uses much less electricity than normal hairdryers. It was like feeling someone else's hair on my head. My hair was thick, yet smooth, all the fluffiness had gone and I looked like I’d used hair straighteners, when I had not. Shane assigns an hour for each customer, he uses an unbelievable product on your hair and I must say is the best cutter with whom I have had the pleasure of having my hair cut for many years! Though not cheap a cut with Shane it is well worth saving a little longer for. Why? Well your style will last longer between cuts and changing your hair products will improve your hair quality one hundred percent. An hour worth its weight in gold.

www.idoleyesbeauty.co.uk Is your skin tired, dull and lacks lustre? Do you suffer from acne, eczema, rosacea or pigmentation? Are you looking for a healthy, natural preservative or cure? I am a beautician who specialises in HD Brows, Semi-permanent eyelash extensions, manicures, pedicures and facials using ENVIRON. As a mother of three teenage daughters, beauty has always been a prominent topic in our household. From hair, make-up and clothes, using my profession has had its advantages. Even my relic of a husband has experienced the benefits – he now looks half his age! My husband and I moved our family to the idyllic village of Bishopstone in September 2000. We felt it offered many great opportunities for us to experience rural life. The advantages far outweighed any disadvantages of living in a rural location. Our daughters found that having a mother to tend to almost all their beauty needs didn’t necessitate travelling further afield to any major towns. For most of the residents of Bishopstone and surrounding villages, this has meant doing exactly that and struggling with the constant increase in traffic and parking/expense. Up until present, my business has been based in Old Town, Swindon but I felt that moving it to my home has given it a more personal and less stressful experience in beautiful surroundings. I have recently introduced the very exclusive product Environ into my salon. It was founded by world renowned Plastic Surgeon Dr Des Fernandes. I was very interested in this most natural way of maintaining a healthy skin not only for myself, but my daughters who are forever subjected to advertising media promoting quick fix solutions to ageing skin; botox and fillers to name a few. This miracle cream introduces Vitamin A and C into skin care formulations, along with powerful antioxidants and flavonoids. It helps restore the skin cells, resulting in a more youthful complexion. The skin responds so well with Environ, it appears smoother and more radiant. Environ products contain ingredients to promote collagen and elastin formation. The Environ skin care ranges are suitable for men, women and children and help with numerous skin conditions such as acne, eczema, rosacea, and scarring with extremely positive results. Environ is acclaimed by international beauty editors, skin care therapists and dermatologists and the efficacy of its products make it one of the cult favourites among those in the know. | The Advertiser | page 13 | Welcome to this March edition and I hope that you have kept well and free of the current viruses that are circulating. It’s been a difficult winter so far for our pets too, having mostly bowel upsets and only the recent longer spell of very cold, dry, healthier weather. Some organisms will always be around and remain infectious in the right habitat for them – such as Leptospirosis and Campylobacter: streams, ditches, puddles… Great news on the Sumatran Tiger front – last month, I mentioned the televised efforts of an Australian family and fellow workers both at a progressive zoo in Australia and in Sumatra itself, to increase the habitat quality and protection of the Sumatran Tiger through patrols and education, one of rarest big cats in the World. Now, Chester Zoo has recorded the safe arrival of three cubs that one day will boost the numbers of critically endangered big cats alive in Sumatra. Thinking abroad, the grave Ebola virus disease (EVD) situation in West and Central Africa would seem to be starting to stabilise in some areas for many reasons, mainly through the efforts of professionals working in such a dangerous environment, as well as forward-thinking individuals motivating others to mount the greatest challenge to this highly fatal haemorrhagic fever. What mustn’t be forgotten, as Dr John Cooper of the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology reminds us all, is that it is also a significant cause of death in non-human primates, including gorillas and chimpanzees. Ebola VD can be contracted from handling carcases of these and similar species, while it is possible for fruit bats to carry the disease and not showing many, if any, clinical signs. So, EVD is inextricably linked with animals, not just Man, and the veterinary profession should be an integral part of this disease surveillance, control and research. One unusual piece in the recent news is that there are calls for the use of cowbells in Switzerland to be banned. Naturally, this hasn’t gone down well with the farmers who have to search for their stock high in the alpine meadows under difficult conditions sometimes. However, they may understand the reason for a ban better after some significant research has found, that cows with bells move less and chew their cud for shorter periods than cows without bells, so may not be able to hold their body condition score so well. Also, the legal sound limit in Switzerland is 85 decibels, whereas research has found that typically, these bells create noise levels of 100-113 decibels, roughly equivalent to a chainsaw being used – and so close to their heads. These findings, reported in Schweiz am Sonntage recently, are part of a doctoral dissertation carried out by two researchers at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. The study involved strapping 5.5 Kg bells to more than a 100 cows on 25 farms across the country, monitoring head movements, activity, reactions to additional sounds and feeding behaviour. Some of the 100 cows were unresponsive to sound so may well be suffering from a hearing impairment as well. Such bells have been used for centuries, along with the Alpaufzug and Bell Dorado festivals; I understand that cowbells have become a sign of wealth of a farmer, a portable bank account perhaps, whereby the bigger the bell, the better off the owner - and the best milking cow gets the biggest bell. No one in the farming community seems to be in favour of GPS microchips – all they’d need is a smartphone and good satellite signal in all weathers and altitudes. Let’s see what happens! Also a past headline in the Swiss press was “Shock! Swiss farmers in underpants are models”, so there are happier times to enjoy, perhaps including the sound of bees collecting nectar in the pastures, under a warm sun …. However, recent studies of honeybee colonies that suddenly collapse and die off have shown, using tiny radio tags, that the sharp decline in honeybees has been linked with a change in the foraging behaviour of the younger worker bees, brought upon by some kind of environmental stress that includes parasites active on the bees and eggs in the hive, or from certain pesticide use. The study is by Dr Perry of Queen Mary University, London. Colony collapse disorder has caused a 30 per cent average annual loss of honeybees in North America alone over the last decade. A key feature of the disorder is the complete disappearance of worker bees, leaving the hive largely empty of adult bees. “But if the increased death rate continues for too long or the hive isn’t big enough to withstand it in the short term, this natural response could upset the societal balance of the colony and have catastrophic consequences,” Dr Perry said. The environmental stressors will need more study to identify them and to know what action can be safely taken to reduce them in each bee hive. So, if anyone sees a swarm this Spring, it would be so helpful to get this potential new colony established in an unoccupied hive to help support British honeybees. Your local beekeepers will be very happy to help. May I then leave you with the thoughts again of honeybees, mason bees and bumblebees buzzily working their way around the flowers that so grace the British Spring and the promise of warmer weather and more colours to come.

Healthy T ips

| The Advertiser | page 18 |

The term ‘Wellness’ is generally used to mean a healthy balance of the mind, body and spirit that results in an overall feeling of well-being. According to Wikipedia, the ageing population participates in wellness programs in order to feel better and have more energy. Wellness programs allow individuals to take increased responsibility for their health behaviours. People often enrol in a private wellness program to improve fitness or to learn how to manage their weight. Wellness can be seen as a way towards helping a person assess their lifestyle and to maximize their potential and increase their ability to enjoy a healthy, well-balanced and fulfilling life. Wellness is a mindset that encourages us to seek and adopt positive habits and behaviours, enabling us to pursue and sustain a healthy and more satisfying lifestyle. Eating healthily, getting adequate sleep, engaging in regular exercise and self-care, maintaining healthy relationships, living in a clean environment that promotes good health, and creating a good balance between career, personal and leisure time are all factors that contribute towards your state of well-being. So where do you start? Ask yourself; what is your current situation and what action are you taking to improve it? Ask yourself; why do you do what you do? Ask yourself; what is your motive for action? Ask yourself; what is it that drives your life today? Change can mean moving into unknown territory which can be frightening. People resist positive change because it can require time and effort. It is inevitable that changes will happen in life, the question is whether you are going to instigate those changes or whether you let change happen to you. If you want different results then you will need to change the negative things you are doing and turn them into something positive. There is little point doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. If you want a different result, you have to make a positive change and stick to it. At the end of the day, it is up to you to create healthy changes in all aspects of your life-wellness, so that you can make your goals a reality. I am sure we would all like to improve our health and well-being and many other aspects of our lives too. Although there are many people around to help, the decision to make change is yours. Once you have made that decision to improve certain aspects of your life you are already on the first step to new beginnings. You will be surprised as to the doors that are now open to you that were previously closed, or that you just did not see them. Good luck.

“The reason we race isn't so much to beat each other,... but to be with each other.” Last month we heard from some of our absolute beginners, but the FarRunners is a broad church of runners of all ages, speeds and motivations. The quote above from running author Christopher McDougall, sums up pretty well the ethos of some of the more experienced members of our group. Whilst we harbour competitive instincts, many of our group runs are all about catching-up as one might over a coffee or a pint, discussing what’s on our mind, whilst having a bit of aerobic exercise. What’s not to like? So let’s hear from them too…. Lisa Redman - “I joined Far Runners a year ago, when my son was 6 months old. I needed to find those muscles that hadn’t been used in a long long time. I particularly enjoy the hour or so where no one demands anything from me, except myself and the feeling of accomplishment at the end it just keeps me going back for more!!” James Greenaway - ''I was new to Faringdon & joined FarRunners to reap the rewards of running in a group Further motivation, learning from others & most of all meeting some great new people!” Kate Boswell – “I joined Far Runners in January after a break from running of about 4 years. I wish I'd done it earlier! What a fantastic bunch of supportive, knowledgeable and friendly folk. I was made so welcome and, by the second run out with them, I felt like I was one of the family!” Esther Lafferty – “I've been running for years, mostly on my own, but having moved to Faringdon at the end of last year, it has been lovely to join such a friendly and welcoming group. There are runners of all ages, and lots of women as well as men, and as they get together several times a week, each time with subsets at different speeds, I'll always be able to slot in somewhere. And all free! Fantastic. Paul Brame – “Having lived in Faringdon for nearly ten years, it was great to meet like minded people willing to share routes and adventures, even if it sometimes meant ending up lost in a muddy field. I also never thought that I would find myself getting up at 6am to see the sunrise at The Folly whilst running circuits around the top - later to be referred to as "Woozles" in honour of Winnie The Pooh. Knowing someone local who got a head-torch for Christmas has been an absolute boom for evening running this winter!" So would you like to join us? We meet at the Old Town Hall at 6:30pm on a Tuesday and 7pm on a Thursday. We also meet at the Leisure Centre at 9:30am on Sundays.

Fairtrade is ‘about better prices, decent working conditions and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers’ (fairtrade.org.uk). The expanding diversity of Fairtrade products now widely available includes a great range of wines. The aim of Fairtrade is to benefit small scale farmers and workers, who are amongst the most marginalised groups globally, providing fairer trading conditions and opportunities to maintain their livelihoods. It includes investment into their businesses and community, providing sustainability rather than them relying on aid. I went in search of some Fairtrade wines and came up trumps at the Co-op. Not only were the wines reasonably priced, but I was staggered to be presented with such choice. There was pinot grigio, chardonnay blends as well as viognier and even Fairtrade Prosecco! In the red department, we had malbec, carmenère, merlot, shiraz and shiraz blends to name a few. Further investigation on the Co-op website has revealed that they are the UK’s largest retailer of Fairtrade wines, having a range of 25 wines sourced from South Africa and Chile. The Siren Shiraz/Grenache 2014 Western Cape, South Africa Co-op £6.99 Being a fan of this blend (it is big in Australia); I was naturally drawn to this blend. On the nose, it has ripe red berry fruits. The palate delivers a fruit platter of youthful characters; cracked black pepper with raspberries, plum and cherry finishing short on the palate with red currants and boiled sweets. A great accompaniment to pulled pork or duck breast. Fairtrade Carmenère 2013 Valle Central, Chile Co-op £5.99 Once upon a time, Carmenère was thought to be merlot! DNA profiling soon sorted that one out, although it is my belief that Carmenère shares a suppleness of tannins with merlot. On the nose, this wine has pronounced aromas of dark berries; blackcurrant's and blackberries with a hint of coffee. On the palate, the dark fruits deepen, with undertones of chocolate and toastiness. The suppleness of this wine lends itself to accompany a hearty roast dinner or barbecue. In support of Fairtrade Fortnight during February 23rs – March 8th, look for the Fairtrade logo and try some Fairtrade produce! The Mustard Seed in Faringdon stocks a great range of Fairtrade food items and check out your local Co-op for their range of Fairtrade wines. All over the world there are millions of members of Girlguiding so why not join us and become a member too? We are especially looking for the senior section members, girls over the age of 13 in the Shrivenham and Faringdon areas. In this section of Guiding, women participate in a fun and flexible programme known as Look Wider. The programme is linked to a variety of recognised qualifications or awards, both within and outside Guiding. The opportunities and challenges are designed to be particularly beneficial to girls getting ready to embark on a career or go to university. Senior Section members may also train to be Young Leaders by helping out with Rainbows and Brownies, Guides with support from an adult Leader. There are several international opportunities available for Senior Section members, ranging from attending events abroad to volunteering on community projects in developing countries. Members can also make their voices heard by joining the Guiding delegate of the British Youth Council or Innovate, a national forum for young women to discuss and contribute to the direction of Girlguiding UK. In addition we are looking for adult help to prevent some of our units closing so if you can spare some time and help make a difference please contact us. What do adults do? Girlguiding UK would not have survived for 100 years without the amazing contribution of volunteers. In return, Girlguiding UK offers training in practical skills such as event management and first aid, whilst helping to develop additional skills such as leadership, team building and diversity awareness. Whether it’s by running a unit, or organising fundraising, or generating publicity, volunteers have made Guiding what it is today. And of course, the more volunteers we have, the more girls we can welcome into Guiding. If you’re interested in volunteering, in any capacity, whether you can offer a regular weekly commitment, or an hour or two every few months, we would love to hear from you. Join us and make a difference to girls lives. For further information please contact: Anne Lynn on 07790 816775 anne.lynn123@btinternet.com
