We know that it has been a rough time for a lot of businesses and for a lot of locals. The current COVID-19 crisis has caused many businesses to close their doors and for people to isolate. Let’s do the right thing – stay safe and support each other as much as we can. As much as possible we are assisting the businesses and residents in Nundah and its surrounding suburbs. Now is the time to try and help each other… part of this is by following the health and government guidelines.
We’ve created a Facebook Group, called Loving Nundah Covid-19 Community Support where you can share ideas, tips and suggestions in a positive group. We’ll be sharing local news and updates on the Loving Nundah Facebook and Instagram pages constantly, and we’d love for you to share with us what your favourite businesses are doing, what residents are doing to keep spirits up and any good news you hear. Putting this issue of Loving Nundah together with no events to promote and so much uncertainty for what to expect in the coming weeks and months was a challenge. Megan and Michael – your Loving Nundah team – have been incredible. We also rely on our local businesses so that we can produce our magazine and update our website and social media pages. We do well when our local businesses do well. When they hurt, we hurt too. We have shed a few tears, been encouraged by the doers who are fighting through the pain and going beyond to help each other. Let’s continue to love and support Nundah together.

BUY GIFT CARDS Buying a gift card from a local business and saving it for future use is an immediate way to put cash into your favourite hair salon, restaurant or shop. Many offer online gift vouchers that can be emailed directly to you. TAKE PART IN ONLINE CLASSES From workouts to dance classes, there are many classes that have been moved online. If your local business offers this option, take it – you might learn a new skill.
