Young Dr. Frederick Frankenstein, one of the country’s greatest scientific minds and grandson to the original mad doctor, inherits the family castle in Transylvania. Hoping to quickly rid himself of it and return to his fiancé Elizabeth, the young Frankenstein visits Transylvania, where he discovers that his grandfather’s passion lives on..in him! Helped by the alluring local assistant Inga, hunchback Igor, and cigar-smoking Frau Blücher, Frederick Frankenstein animates a new monster with a gift for musical theater...and hilarity ensues.

Meet the Cast (in alphabetical order) Brian Ash (Inspector Hans Kemp) is thrilled to once again tread the boards at LTA. Brian has been seen most recently as R.F. Simpson in Singin’ in the Rain (TAP), as well as in LTA’s Something Rotten as Lord Clapham, et al. Brian also spent 30 years performing throughout DC (and more) as a member of The Capitol Steps. As always, Brian thanks Darlene and Perrin for letting him go a little crazy from time to time. Daria Butler (Ensemble – Swing) LTA debut! Daria grew up in the NOVA area doing community theatre with Sterling Playmakers. Favorite credits include Helen/Featured Dancer in Bye Bye Birdie and Purity in Anything Goes. She holds a musical theatre degree from NYU and a Master of Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon. She now works in the DC nonprofit arts sector. Emily Carbone (Ensemble) is excited to join the cast of Young Frankenstein in her LTA debut. Emily was most recently seen onstage in the Ensemble of Singin’ in the Rain (TAP) and as Moris Delancey, Ensemble and Vocal Captain in Newsies (TAP). She holds a bachelor’s degree in musical theatre from Temple University, where favorite productions included Sunday in the Park with George, Side Show and Love’s Labour’s Lost (the musical). When not onstage, Emily works for the National Electrical Manufacturers Association and as a freelance teaching artist. Liz Colandene (Elizabeth Benning) is thrilled to be performing their dream role in LTA’s Young Frankenstein! Last time Liz performed at LTA, they were proposed to onstage in Anne of Green Gables. Liz’s favorite roles include Janet in Rocky Horror Show (Wolfpack), Audrey II Puppeteer in Little Shop of Horrors (WAC) and the Housekeeper in Man of La Mancha (WAC). Meet the Cast Andrew Edwards (Ensemble) is delighted to be making his LTA debut in Young Frankenstein. He moved to Washington in July from Charleston, WV, where he had performed in many local productions. Some of his favorites include Roger in Rent, Cinderella’s Prince in Into the Woods and Drew Boley in Rock of Ages. He would like to thank LTA for welcoming him into their community. Lewis Eggleston (Ensemble) is thrilled to make his LTA debut in Young Frankenstein! His favorite roles include Angel in Rent, Dr. Henry Jekyll in Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical and Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Lewis is an ordained minister in the Lutheran church and a new resident to Alexandria. He is humbled and honored to be a small part of such an incredible group of talented volunteers who create art for our community. Odette Gutierrez del Arroyo (Ensemble) is thrilled to be back in her third production with LTA! Recent credits include Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods (TAP), Daniela in In the Heights (NST), Something Rotten! (LTA) and Sister Act (LTA). When not onstage, you can find Odette practicing medicine as a physician assistant and, most importantly, being a mommy to her 2-year-old son, Luca. Odette wishes to thank her husband, Jake, for his unwavering support in her pursuit of her passion—she couldn’t do this without him! Claire Jeffrey (Inga) is thrilled to be back at LTA with the wonderful cast and production team of Young Frankenstein. Favorite roles include: RCP–Cabaret (Sally Bowles), Aida (Amneris–2017 WATCH Award), Rock of Ages (Sherrie), Annie (Grace), Legally Blonde (Serena); LTA–Spelling Bee (Marcy), Avenue Q (Lucy), Ragtime (Evelyn Nesbit); WAC–The Rocky Horror Show (Janet); MCP–The Drowsy Chaperone (Janet); KAT–Hair (Sheila); TAP–The Wedding Singer (Linda); DS–The Little Dog Laughed (Ellen), Bachelorette (Gena); PWLT– Peter and the Starcatcher (Smee). Meet the Cast (continued) Patrick Kearney (Ensemble) is thrilled to be in LTA’s production of Young Frankenstein! Patrick recently graduated from George Mason University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in management information systems. His credits include West Side Story (LTA), Nice Work If You Can Get It (TAP) and The Pajama Game (FCHS). Patrick would like to thank his family and his girlfriend for supporting him in all of his endeavors. Special thanks to Frank, Stefan, Chris and the incredible cast and crew for making this an amazing experience! Evie Korovesis (Ensemble/Dance Captain) is thrilled to be making her LTA debut! Favorite credits include Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie (RCP), Brenda in Hairspray (RCP), Regina in Rock of Ages (RCP), Julia in The Wedding Singer (TAP), Kira in Xanadu (RCP) and June in Gypsy (RCP). Proud dog mom to Dax, whose favorite toy happens to be Frankenstein! Thanks to family and friends for encouraging her to get back onstage after being on the creative side for a while! As always, this performance is for Grandma and Pap-Pap. Judy Lewis (Frau Blücher) is thrilled to be coming back to the LTA stage after a 39-year hiatus! Judy was last seen onstage as Finley Gray in The Wilting Point (KT). Before that, she played Deena in Almost, Maine (TAP). Pre-COVID she played Kitty in Last Summer at Bluefish Cove (DS) and Carmen in Curtains (TAP). Other roles at TAP include the Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd and Millicent in Nice Work If You Can Get It. She is also a voiceover actor, voicing a variety of characters in the Twisted Tales of Madness & Murder Presents and SOS Humanity podcasts. Love and appreciation to her family for putting up with a German accent for months!

Luke Martin (Ensemble) is so excited to be back on the LTA stage in Young Frankenstein! His recent credits include: Ensemble in Freaky Friday (LTA), Ensemble in Singin’ in The Rain (TAP), TJ in Sister Act (LTA) and Tom Snout/Ensemble in Something Rotten! (LTA). This show is one Luke has dreamed of doing since he learned all the words to “Roll in the Hay” at the age of 10. Luke welcomes you to Transylvania and hopes the show brings you plenty of spooky vibes and tons of laughs!


James Maxted (The Hermit) is an IT manager by day and a musical theatre junkie by night. This is his second LTA show after Anything Goes. Favorite roles include Che (Evita), The Emcee (Cabaret), Evelyn Oakleigh (Anything Goes), Trekkie Monster (Avenue Q), Javert (Les Misérables) and The Pirate King (The Pirates of Penzance). Favorite role, though, is father to Ollie, Elizabeth, Cecilia and Emily and husband to his amazing wife, Christine. He loves you all so much! Noah Mutterperl (Dr. Frederick Frankenstein) Recent theatre credits: Will in Big Fish (CFTC), Shakespeare in Something Rotten! (LTA–WATCH Award), Gabe in Next to Normal (NYU), Pippin in Pippin (NYU), Romeo in Romeo and Juliet (Shakespeare to Go). Shout out to the Transylvanians! Meet the Crew (in alphabetical order) Rachel Alberts (Co-Producer) has produced a grand total of 11 shows at LTA in addition to directing, producing and writing plays for children for a dozen years. She is a three-time recipient of LTA’s Award for Excellence in Producing, served on the Board as the Governor for Public Relations and Governor for Education and is the proud recipient of Alexandria’s Salute to Women Award for Cultural Affairs. Robert S. Barr Jr. (Set Design) is honored to design his second set for LTA; his first was Something Rotten! Rob has worked on multiple productions in the past as a set piece designer/builder, prop builder, painter and tech and has worked on other productions with Frank Shutts including The Nance, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder and The Belle of Amherst for LTA and The Explorer’s Club (WAC) and multiple pieces for traveling productions. Sherry Clarke (Co-Stage Manager) began theater as a young child and later enjoyed a 13-year career as a Seattle-based vocalist, traveling north to Alaska and south along the West Coast. LTA provided her a new home in which to explore her theatrical roots once again. Her most recent shows were The Nacirema Society…, Fences, Something Rotten! and Sister Act. Sherry is very excited to work with the amazing cast and crew of Young Frankenstein and is especially pleased to be working with Rob Cork and Frank Shutts once again. Kadira Coley (Hair/Wig Design) is delighted to work at LTA again. In the last year, she produced her first show, Sister Act, at LTA, and designed hair and makeup for The Nacirema Society. Kadira has acted onstage and worked behind the scenes as a hair and makeup designer, nominated for both WATCH and LTA awards for her hair designs. She works for the City of Alexandria and sings with the Alexandria Singers. Kadira thanks her family for their support and sends a shout-out to her angel in heaven, Chin.

Meet the Crew Rob Cork (Co-Stage Manager) has stage managed many productions and education class showcases at LTA, beginning with The Sorcerer in 1996. As LTA started to reopen to audiences during the recent pandemic, Rob brought his portrayal of Will Rogers to the LTA stage—a role that he first played in 2012 and continues to refine. He also directed The Soul Sitter and A Christmas Carol at LTA. Other favorite roles include Jungle Cruise Skipper at Walt Disney World, Charlie Davenport in Annie Get Your Gun (SCT) and Melbrook the jester in Rumpelstiltskin with the Bergen County Players in New Jersey. Ken and Patti Crowley (Lighting Design/Special Effects Design) are excited to be working with Frank, Chris and Stefan again at LTA. Their most recent designs include LTA’s Two on the Aisle, Three in a Van, Something Rotten!, Fences, Rumors and The Nance; RCP’s Peter and the Starcatcher, Aida and Gypsy; PWLT’s Sister Act; DS’s [title of show] and Last Summer at Bluefish Cove; and TAP’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and She Loves Me. Other noteworthy designs include Curtains, Picnic, The Secret Garden, The Will Rogers Follies, Widdershins, Into the Woods, Blithe Spirit, Das Barbecü, The Teahouse of the August Moon and I Hate Hamlet. They are the recipients of numerous awards, including LTA, RCP, FCT and WATCH awards for their lighting designs. Jim Hutzler (Co-Set Construction) has worked on many LTA sets as master carpenter and set construction crew, often alongside Jeff Nesmeyer, including most recently Freaky Friday. Jim and Jeff received WATCH Award nominations for their work on Something Rotten! and Design for Murder. Thanks to all those volunteers who make LTA the special place that it is. Evie Korovesis (Dance Captain) See Cast bio. Francine Krasowska (Co-Music Director) has played, sung, coached, acted, directed and arranged music for productions and ensembles from schools and churches to experimental and professional theaters; from touring ensembles to TV and radio broadcasts; from medieval polyphony to electronica. She has worked with GAC, KAT, MCP, RCP, TAP, VLOC, VTC and many DC-area performing groups. At LTA she has music directed Ragtime, [title of show], West Side Story and Anything Goes as well as played in several LTA orchestras.

Meet the Crew (continued) Pam Leonowich (Co-Master Electrician) has worked on over 130 consecutive shows at LTA. She is proud to follow in the theater footsteps of her mother, who managed and designed productions for the troops during World War II with the British Entertainments National Service Association (ENSA). She is happy to be working with Co-Master Electrician Micheal O’Connor and Light Designers Ken and Patti Crowley. Special thanks to our dedicated light crew. Kathy Murphy (Set Painting Design) has been happily painting sets at LTA for over eight years, finally able to use all of her art classes! Most recently, Kathy and her expert team of painters worked in collaboration with builders and designers to give LTA audiences Freaky Friday. It is always a joy to work at LTA. “Nothing better than an adventure with your best bucket of paint!” Jeff Nesmeyer (Co-Set Construction) is pleased to be working again with Jim Hutzler and the great group of set construction volunteers. Jeff has been involved in set builds at LTA, PCP and DS since 2006. He was nominated for five WATCH awards and has won the LTA Excellence in Set Construction awards for Harvey, Dracula, A Gentlemen’s Guide to Love and Murder and Design for Murder. He thanks LTA for its confidence in his carpentry abilities, Jim for his camaraderie and his wife, Diane, for her support. Micheal O’Connor (Co-Master Electrician) works as Master Electrician at many local community theaters. Pam Leonowich is his favorite Co-ME. He enjoys working with Ken and Patty Crowley along with the very talented tech crew at LTA. He can often be found backstage or in the tech booth, always in the dark. Donna Reynolds (Properties Design) has designed properties for several shows at LTA and elsewhere, including, most recently, for Blue Stockings (LTA) and Enchanted April (ACCT). Donna also stage manages, runs lights and dresses sets, including for Mary Stuart, A Few Good Men and The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife at LTA. 18

Jean Schlichting and Kit Sibley (Co-Costume Design) are honored to costume Young Frankenstein. They have enjoyed working on many shows at LTA, including, most recently, The Nacirema Society, Something Rotten!, Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol and Sister Act, and they have received several WATCH nominations and awards for their work. Many thanks to Frank for inviting us on this journey and to our long-suffering husbands, aka theater widowers, for putting up with all the fabric. Frank D. Shutts II (Director) has been a member of LTA for 34 years and has directed 27 mainstage productions and taught in LTA’s education department. He is currently LTA’s President, having held that position previously (2000-04). Frank is a member of the Educational Theater Association and served as the resident/guest director for McLean and Bishop Ireton High Schools. He thanks his mentor, Dorthie Kogelman, for planting the theater seed in 1978. Meet the Crew (continued) Myke Taister (Set Decoration), also known by the mononym MYKE, is a retired forensic artist who fell into set design and decoration as a hobby over 30 years ago. He served as LTA president in the late 1990s and is currently the Building Governor. MYKE has won several awards for his theater work. When not designing or decorating a set, he can be found procuring items in area antique stores for his Victorian home on Main Street in Midland, Michigan. As always, he dedicates this show to his mentors and friends Anne Lash and Jean Stuhl. Love to Frank. Christopher A. Tomasino (Co-Music Director) returns to LTA, having been music director most recently for Freaky Friday and Something Rotten!. He is honored to be working again with Frank, Stefan and the entire Young Frankenstein team. This is Chris’ 37th time as music director at LTA; his productions include In the Heights, Hairspray, Cabaret, Das Barbecü and Tommy. He has also been the recipient of the LTA Demaine Award for Music Direction, as well as the Alliance of Community Theaters music direction awards for numerous productions. In addition to LTA, Chris has been the music director for Bishop Ireton High School’s Theatre Arts program for over 35 years. In “real life,” Chris is a vice president with Burke & Herbert Bank in Alexandria. Natalie Turkevich (Makeup Design/Video Effects Coordinator) is a recent West Virginia University graduate with a B.A. in theater. Some of her favorite shows she has worked on include Airness (WVU), Assassins (WVU), The Magic Flute (West Virginia Opera) and Freaky Friday (LTA). She hopes you sit back, relax and enjoy the show! Robin Worthington (Wardrobe Coordinator) most recently worked on LTA’s Mary Stuart and Freaky Friday. Robin holds a Ph.D. in biology and is retired from the Food and Drug Administration and is delighted to organize the crew to dress the cast of Young Frankenstein. Co-Chair of LTA’s Wardrobe Department, Robin has been a wardrobe mistress, assisting challenging quick changes behind the scenes for LTA plays, and she has worked with local costumers to dress actors in many theaters and schools since 2015. 20


Alan Wray (Sound Design) is excited to be working with Frank and the fabulous production team on Young Frankenstein. His most recent designs include LTA’s Freaky Friday and VTC’s Doubt. Alan has designed sound for productions of The Desperate Hours, Rabbit Hole, 33 Variations (LTA Award), The Producers (WATCH Award), Picnic (WATCH nomination) and the chilling Widdershins (LTA Award). Russell M. Wyland (Co-Producer/Rigging) has been a member of LTA since 1990. During his membership, he has volunteered for box office and front of house; worked on construction, props and wardrobe crews; designed sound, special effects, costumes and sets; and dressed sets and stage managed. He has co-produced almost 25 productions at LTA, including the musicals Something Rotten!, Hairspray and Spamalot. He has won WATCH awards for outstanding musical, set dressing and special effects. Russ served seven terms as LTA President and 10 terms as a governor, and he currently serves on the LTA Board of Financial Trustees. Oh, and he rigs a little bit…on the side.

Meet the Originators Doug Besterman (Orchestration) is a three-time Tony Award winning musician with a career spanning across theatre, film, television and recording. As a Composer, Producer, Arranger, and Orchestrator, he has been privileged to work with some of the most recognizable names in the industry, including composers Mel Brooks, Alan Menken, and Marc Shaiman; recording artists Barbra Streisand and Barry Manilow; and directors Rob Marshall and Susan Stroman. A veteran of 25+ Broadway shows, Besterman won the Best Orchestrations Tony Award® for Fosse, The Producers, and Thoroughly Modern Millie, and was nominated for The Music Man (2000), How to Succeed in Business, and Bullets over Broadway. He was also awarded the Drama Desk Award for The Producers and Thoroughly Modern Millie. His most recent Broadway credits include Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, A Bronx Tale, and Anastasia. Besterman has also written orchestrations for 20+ film and television projects; including recent film work on Mary Poppins Returns, Aladdin (2019), Beauty and the Beast (2017) and Frozen; and American Housewife, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and Galavant for television. As a composer, Besterman penned the scores for the podcast musical Little Did I Know (with lyricists Dean Pitchford and Marcy Heisler), currently available for download on Apple Podcasts; The Big One-Oh (with lyricist Dean Pitchford), which recently premiered at The Atlantic For Kids in NYC, and is available for licensing through Music Theater International (MTI); and the vignette “Swelling and Irritation” (with lyricist Sharon Vaughn) from the musical Breathe, also to be licensed by MTI - concept album to be released by Sony. His music has also been recorded by singer Christian Bautista, heard in the films The Punisher, Out of Step and Exit Speed, television shows Summerland and One Life To Live, in concert with the United States Military Academy Concert Band, and in the musical revue Hats. He is a proud father, husband, and sommelier. When not in New York or Los Angeles working, Doug is an avid traveler. Mel Brooks (Writer/Composer & Lyricist/Producer) Director, producer, writer and actor, Mel Brooks is the recipient of three 2001 Tony Awards (Best Score, Best Book of a Musical, Best Musical) and two Grammy Awards (Best Musical Show Album and Best Long Form Music Video) 22


for THE PRODUCERS. Mr. Brooks began his distinguished career during television’s “Golden Age” as a writer for Sid Caesar on YOUR SHOW OF SHOWS in 1951. In 1955 and in 1957, Brooks received Emmy Award nominations (with others) for the best comedy writing for CAESAR’S HOUR, and in 1956 he was nominated (with others) for best writing for a variety or situation comedy. In 1952, Brooks wrote sketches for Leonard Sillman’s Broadway smash-hit revue, NEW FACES OF 1952, and in 1957, together with Joe Darion, he wrote the book for the Broadway musical SHINBONE ALLEY, which starred Eartha Kitt. In 1962, he wrote the book for the Broadway musical ALL-AMERICAN, starring Ray Bolger. In the’60s, Brooks teamed up with Carl Reiner to write and perform THE 2000 YEAR OLD MAN albums, which became immediate bestsellers. In 1960 and 1961, Brooks and Reiner received Grammy Award nominations for the best spoken word comedy for 2000 YEARS and for best comedy performance for 2000 AND ONE YEARS, respectively. In 1997, Brooks and Reiner teamed up again for THE 2000 YEAR OLD MAN IN THE YEAR 2000. Both a book and a CD were released, the CD winning a Grammy Award in 1998 for the best spoken word album: comedy. Brooks wrote and narrated THE CRITIC, a short satire on avant-garde art films, which received the Academy Award for best animated short subject in 1964. In 1965, he teamed up with buck Henry and created GET SMART, the long-running televisions show starring Don Adams as Agent 86. Brooks, along with others, received an Emmy Award for outstanding writing achievement in a comedy-variety in 1967 for THE SID CAESAR, IMOGENE COCA, CARL REINER, HOWARD MORRIS SPECIAL. In 1968, he wrote and directed his first feature film, THE PRODUCERS, starring Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder, which earned him an Academy Award for the best original screenplay written directly for the screen. He then went on to create a remarkable string of hit comedies: 1970, he wrote, directed and acted in THE TWELVE CHAIRS; 1974, co-wrote, directed and acted in BLAZING SADDLES, and was nominated, along with John Morris, for the best title song, “Blazing Saddles”; 1974, co-wrote and directed YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN; 1976, co-wrote, directed and starred in SILENT MOVIE; 1977, co-wrote, directed and starred in SILENT MOVIE; 1977, co-wrote, directed, produced and starred in HISTORY OF THE 23

For three successive seasons, Brooks won the Emmy Award for his role as UNCLE PHIL on the hit comedy show, MAD ABOUT YOU. His visionary film company, Brooksfilms Limited, founded in 1980, has produced some of America’s most distinguished films, among them: David Lynch’s THE ELEPHANT MAN, David Cronenberg’s THE FLY, FRANCES, Richard Benjamin’s MY FAVORITE YEAR and 84 CHARING CROSS ROAD, starring Anthony Hopkins and Mr. Brooks’ wife Anne Bancroft. Mark Cumberland (Additional Orchestrations) began his musical career as a chorister with the world-renowned choir of King’s College, Cambridge. He has featured in more than 100 West End and Broadway productions as either trumpeter, music copyist, arranger or orchestrator. Thomas Meehan (Book) received the Tony Award for co-writing the book for The Producers in 2001 and in 2003 for co-writing the book for Hairspray. He received his first Tony Award in 1977 for writing the book of Annie, which was his first Broadway show, and has written the books for the musicals Rocky, Elf the Musical, Cry-Baby, Young Frankenstein, Chaplin, Bombay Dreams, I Remember Mama, Ain’t Broadway Grand and Annie Warbucks. In addition, he was a long-time contributor of humor to The New Yorker, an Emmy-Award winning writer of television comedy, and a collaborator on a number of screenplays, including Mel Brooks’ Spaceballs and To Be Or Not To Be. Mr. Meehan was also a member of the Council of the Dramatists Guild. He and his wife, Carolyn, divided their time between a home in Nantucket and an apartment in Greenwich Village, near which, on Hudson Street, she owned and presided over the long-running and near-legendary children’s store Peanut Butter & Jane. 24

She directed and choreographed The Producers, winner of a record-making 12 Tony Awards including Best Direction and Best Choreography. She cocreated, directed and choreographed the Tony Award winning musical Contact for Lincoln Center Theater, which was honored with a 2003 Emmy Award for “Live from Lincoln Center”. She directed and choreographed the critically acclaimed musical The Scottsboro Boys on Broadway and in the West End, where it was honored with the 2014 Evening Standard Award for Best Musical. Other Broadway credits include Oklahoma!, Show Boat, Prince of Broadway, Bullets Over Broadway, Big Fish, Young Frankenstein, Thou Shalt Not, The Music Man, The Frogs, Big, Steel Pier, Picnic, and Crazy for You. For ten years she choreographed Madison Square Garden’s annual spectacular A Christmas Carol. She made her Metropolitan Opera debut directing and choreographing The Merry Widow, starring Renée Fleming. Her London West End productions include Crazy for You, Oklahoma!, Show Boat, Contact, The Producers, and Young Frankenstein. For New York City Ballet, she created Double Feature, a full-length ballet featuring the music of Irving Berlin and Walter Donaldson, and For the Love of Duke, featuring the music of Duke Ellington. Other ballet credits include But Not for Me for the Martha Graham Company and Take Five…More or Less for Pacific Northwest Ballet. Her choreography received an Emmy Award nomination for the HBO presentation Liza - Live from Radio City Music Hall, starring Liza Minnelli. She received the American Choreography Award for her work in Columbia Pictures feature film Center Stage. She directed and choreographed The Producers: The Movie Musical, nominated for 4 Golden Globes. She directed and choreographed the Broadway bound Ahrens/Flaherty musical Marie for The 5th Avenue Theater in Seattle. In collaboration with the Williamstown Theatre Festival, she directed the play Photograph 51 for Audible. She is an Associate Director for Lincoln Center Theater and a member of the Board of Directors for the Ronald O. Perelman Center for the Performing Arts located at the World Trade Center. She is the recipient of the George Abbott Award for Lifetime Achievement in the American Theater and an inductee of the Theater Hall of Fame in New York City. Staged Reading Auditions In order to introduce our audiences to new plays, LTA has implemented staged readings of the plays The Taming by Lauren Gunderson (Director – Jessie Roberts), Ice Front by Eric Samuelsen (Director – Jessie Roberts), Milk Like Sugar by Kirsten Greenidge (Director – Jackie Youm), and Charles Francis Chan Jr’s Exotic Oriental Murder Mystery by Lloyd Suh (Director – Jackie Youm). The Council of the Little Theatre of Alexandria is a group of dedicated members who support financial projects for the theatre and provide numerous social events with dinners, receptions, and other member gatherings. The Council promotes and supports volunteerism throughout the theatre to ensure continued success in all areas, i.e., backstage, front of house, box office, etc.; we also provide need-based scholarship funding to support numerous adult and youth educational programs within the theatre. The Council is proud to sponsor the Shakespeare Garden which has become a community favorite with many stopping in just to relax and “waste my time in it.”
