Membership

he Sailing Academy welcomes new members. Membership is open to recreational sailors who wish to use the extensive facilities
on a regular basis. Members are able to store equipment on site permanently or simply launch their boat/board if they wish.
Temporary day membership is also available to all who wish to use WPNSA’s facilities. The fee covers launching, parking and use of the changing and social facilities, with overnight storage available if required. Temporary membership can be purchased for up to a maximum of two weeks per annum. Please note all members must also pay harbour dues, this is a small fee that Portland Harbour authority charge to all those using the area in order to maintain the infrastructure.
Membership types are as follows: Single Handed Membership Available to owners of a single-handed dinghy that is used by that person only.
Our site also has some designated spaces for campervans and caravans, which can be booked in advance on the website or through reception.
Standard Membership Available to owners of double-handed dinghies or power boats who wish to use the facilities to launch. Storage Available to Single Hander or Standard Members only. Our membership is annual and runs from 01st April – 31st March
