IT’S A CAFÉ, A DELI, A FASHION STORE, A PLANT SHOP AND A HOTEL: IF YOU STAY AT DAEN’S, YOU DON’T NEED TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE IN TOWN. THE THREE ROOMS ARE ON THE TOP FLOOR OF THE PLANT SHOP, WHICH DOUBLES UP AS THE RECEPTION. A LEAFY CHECK-IN; WHAT’S NOT TO LIKE?
The three cosy rooms are decorated with a mix of design and vintage, and a good eye for authentic details. One of the rooms boasts a French balcony with double doors and a nice view across a friendly city square. And the room in the attic has a spectacularly high ceiling under the eaves, as well as a great view and a small rooftop terrace. But that’s not all: you can shop for Dutch and Scandinavian designer labels at Daen’s Fashion, score yourself a new plant at Daen’s Greenhouse, grab coffee and cake to go at Daen’s Deli or pull up a chair for lunch or drinks at Daen’s Café.
