Your sporting community is here to support you in your battle against addiction. They can provide tailored strategies to overcome addiction's grip. 3. Build a Support Network: Lean on your teammates, friends, and family. Share your struggles with those you trust. Their support can be a powerful motivator. 4. Set Goals for Recovery: Establish clear and achievable goals for your recovery journey. Each day free from addiction is a milestone worth celebrating. 5. Replace with Positive Habits: Fill the void left by addiction with healthy alternatives. Engage in sports, hobbies, or activities that bring you joy and ful llment. 6. Patience and Perseverance: Recovery is not linear; it's a journey with its ups and downs. Be patient with yourself, and remember that relapses can be stepping stones toward lasting recovery.

The Range Croquet Club - Maleny Priscilla Vickers and Stuart Craig teamed up to play a game of doubles in a game of Ricochet Croquet on Tuesday against Sally Adams and Lynette Evans, winning a tight and enjoyable encounter 11 -10. Donna Manning and Dianne Horsman were too good for Lynette on Thursday beating her in a two against one game 22 – 10. Sarah Widin and David Kerr went down to Helen Andrews and Wallace Roy to the tune of 5 – 12. David, a relative newcomer to the game, showed good form with some ne rolls, one from corner 1 to approach hoop 4. Compared to previous weeks the lawns were almost deserted on Sunday. Everybody is saving themselves for the November tournament which runs from the 2nd to the 5th of November. Ken Barker and Donna played a friendly in which no scores were recorded. The game only lasted an hour and a bit, about the same amount of time that the second division games will be played over – so it was good preparation for that. Sarah, Wallace, and Dianne played a pleasant threesome which Sarah and Wallace won 9 - 6. Vince Carbery visited to nalise the draw for the November tournament. The attached photo below illustrates the level of intensity of play on the day of the Ulysses Club visit a little while ago. Note the mind games being played by the spoodle centre front. Our web address is: https://rangecroquetatmaleny.org.au For details contact Sarah Widin 0417640704 (President ) or by email: therange@croquetqld.org

Court

Hire

Our courts are situated at; Maleny Showgrounds, MalenyStanley River Road, Maleny and may be available for community use or for special events, like workplace teambuilding or social gathering. There are two excellent full size grass courts in an attractive location. Our croquet equipment may be available for your guests in some special occasion (e.g. wedding) if suitable grounds are available. If you are interested, please phone, email or use the contact page. New members are always welcome.

Do you want to play croquet? Croquet provides non-strenuous exercise and an effective low-intensity workout. Croquet can be played at any age and is a great way to socialise while enjoying low impact outdoor exercise. It combines the intellectual challenge of a game like chess with physical activity requiring skills such as precision and a soft touch to be successful.

Play days Please Note: Start times for Play days Thursday and Sunday change on October 1st to summer times ie start time is 2.00 pm for 2.30 pm. Start times for Ricochet and Coaching remain the same.
