Finally the big day had arrived. Doris and Owen were set to wed. She had had her final dress fitting and she looked and felt beautiful. She had also had a big heart-to-heart with her bestie and bridesmaid Lottie - it was just what she needed.

I'm so glad Owen and I had such a long chat on the phone last night. We're just experiencing pre-wedding nerves and jitters. We did agree we both loved each other and couldn't wait for our big day!
Since their engagement on Valentine's Day everyone was wondering if it would last! As there had been times during the summer when they had become so distant, but they had made it in the end and it's going to be the perfect weeding they had dreamed of.
Should anyone present know of any reason that this couple should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace. Uh huh huh..
The day was almost perfect! Until a familiar face arrived on the scene....

Buddy Dolly had just flown in to tell Doris she is making the biggest mistake of her life!
Owen had been seen at the drive-in with Cindy-Lou just days before the wedding.
I suspected things weren't right and Owen's suit is far too tight! Lottie, I thought I was having pre-wedding nerves - I feel heartbroken!

You told me you were at your suit fitting but you were in fact with Cindy-Lou at the drive-in. So this summer all that driving around in your Cadillac with your twin Gavin was a lie! You were with Cindy-Lou the whole time.
'Can't Help Falling in Love' (1961) & Crying I the Chapel' (1973) were both hits for Elvis Presley.
Doris and Buddy knew they had a special connection and realised their love was meant to be. Buddy declared his love to Doris - and they were wed that very same day!
I love YOU Doris.
I do!
Owen was sent on his way back to the UK, knowing he couldn't lead a double life with Doris and Cindy-Lou. He loved them both. Doris for her loving, wholesome way and Cindy-Lou who loved to party - and, for her fun-loving, ways.

Photograpy Class with Sindy Tips on how to photograph your Sindy by Kellie Hardie All these photos were taken using a camera on a phone.
Make sure you direct your camera at Sindy's eye level - do not take the photo from above, it makes Sindy's head look even bigger and you can not see her outfit.
Take your photo during the day - when you use a flash it wipes out the colours and gives harsh shadows.
Lesson #1 Make eye contact with your subject
Lesson #2 Use daylight where possible
Use poses that help enhance outfits, don't feel you have to l lean her up against a wall, you can use stands. Or, you can use blue tack on her feet, or use props to help her stand like this post box.
Lesson #3 Think about positions.
Bet you didn't know her feet were blue tacked to the floor?
Remember they have limbs like us so try and put them in a position you would stand in. Active Sindy's and the new Sindy's are a lot easier to pose for photos.
Lesson #4 Think about natural poses.

TELE SINDY STUDIO 1985 In the mid 1980's Sindy got her very own TV set with Tele Sindy Studio (44681) a 2-level stage set-up including overhead gantries with TV lights and camera rostrum, plus a camera (and headset) with a simple lens that really worked! Sindy could be either act as producer, or as presenter with interchangeable background scenery, presenters desk, monitor, microphone and telephone. Whether Sindy presents the news and weather, hosts a quiz or pop show, or is the anchor on a chat/entertainment show - this set really helped collectors enter into Sindy's dream world.
