Reflections on the tools and actors who develop the territory of the Walloon countryside
"It is by going through the future that we can move the representations of the past, which prevent us from reading and understanding our present."
This phrase by Olivier Mora has never echoed the state of rurality today so much.
This thesis traces the evolution of our countryside and highlights the tools put in place to meet the challenges of planning the Walloon rural territory. It questions the role of all of us, as citizens, associations, politicians, experts, etc., in the way of dealing with and developing the territory of our very dear countryside.
