AqualisBraemar has appointed John Harris as its new Regional Managing Director of the South East Asia region. Mr Harris will oversee the company’s operations in South East Asia (SEA), including its offices in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam as well as maintain control of adjusting across the greater SEA and Asia Pacific region. He will report to AqualisBraemar’s CEO, David Wells.
North Star has appointed Matthew Gordon as its new Chief Executive Officer. Mr Gordon has held senior positions in Unique Group, Atlantic Offshore, Viking Seatech and Subsea 7. North Star, which owns and operates emergency response and rescue vessels (ERRVs) in the North Sea, has also set up North Star Renewables and is seeking to deliver a new fleet of vessels to support the emerging offshore wind maintenance market.
EnerMech has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of Behzad Kazerani as Chief Business Development Officer. Mr Kazerani will be responsible for the company’s global business development function, overseeing an expanded BD team which will spearhead an ambitious growth strategy over the next five years. Behzad Kazerani has more than 25 years of experience in the global oil and gas industry.
Danos Executive Reed Peré, a fifteen-year industry veteran, has been named Vice President of Permian Operations. In this new role, he is responsible for overseeing all Danos service lines and operations in the Permian Basin. Mr Peré joined Danos in 2006, received the company’s Staff Employee of the Year award in 2012 and became a member of the executive team in 2015.

Xodus Group has appointed Alexander Thillerup as US Renewables Vice President to head up a new office in Boston as the company looks to grow its offshore wind services across North America. Mr Thillerup joins Xodus from Aegir Wind Solutions, where he was Director of Project Management. With more than fifteen years’ experience in the renewables industry across Europe and Australia, he has managed several industry-leading projects for developers.
StormGeo recently announced the appointment of Kim Hedegaard Sørensen as the new Chief Operating Officer for StormGeo’s shipping division. Mr Sørensen has an extensive portfolio of global C-level leadership positions in shipping and transportation, including CEO of Nordics NagelGroup, Blue Water Shipping, and TransAtlantic Industrial Shipping.

Exceed MPR has announced the launch of a specialist Rig Integration service, in tandem with the appointment of industry specialist Jon Goodenough as Rig Integration Manager. Mr Goodenough brings over 25 years’ industry experience to the establishment of Exceed MPR’s Rig Integration service, ten of which have been focused upon managed pressure drilling projects.
