12 ounces of marinara sauce
2 cups fresh spinach
1½ cups shredded parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
01. Preheat oven to 400º. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Quickly sauté spinach in a tablespoon of butter, then set aside.
02. Spread about ¾ cup of the marinara sauce into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
03. Arrange half of the ravioli in a single layer over the sauce.
04. Top with half the parmesan cheese, all of the sautéed spinach and cracked pepper to taste.
05. Layer the remaining ravioli on next and then the remaining marinara sauce, parmesan cheese and cracked pepper to taste.
06. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes for fresh ravioli (30 minutes for frozen). Remove the foil and continue baking for about 2 minutes to crisp up the cheese.
07. Garnish with parsley and serve with garlic bread, salad or veggies. Enjoy!
