you spoke...we listened The results are in for the 9th Annual Best of BCS Awards! With a huge number of votes and a bunch of really close races, we’ve counted and recounted (technology is a blessing and a curse) to be sure we had the most accurate numbers. We won’t be giving you the voting totals, but we can tell you this: businesses that placed first, second, and third should be proud. Extremely proud. Best of BCS 2019 was a race to the finish for everyone competing. This year, Best of BCS released 105 voting categories. Due to our growing community, many new businesses entered the poll. Everthing from Best Cold Brew Coffee, Best Fitness Studio, Best Snow Cones, and Best Yoga to Best Realtor, Best Wine Bar, and even Best Local French Fries jockeyed for votes against other businesses in their category - businesses with equally adamant, loyal customers. We want to be the first to congratulate all of this year’s contenders, and we also want to thank readers for telling BCS, once again, who you think is the BEST at what they do. That’s what the Messina Hof Wine and Roses 5K and Half Marathon does each year, and people of the Brazos Valley are loving Previous Best of BCS winner, Girls Just Want to Have Fun 5k took back their first place title it. Runners are treated to prizes such as a tri-blend shirt, race-bib and a commemorative wine from GLOW 5k who won last year. This race is one for the ladies. Designed to honor the glass for completing the race. Following the event, participants have full access to one of the women of BCS, this race has been successful for the last 4 years. Entries can be in finest breakfast buffets in the Brazos Valley. If that doesn’t get you running, nothing will. the form of individual runners or mother/daughter teams.
