International congress

The AIESEC International Congress, is the biggest touchpoint in the organisation where the top leadership profiles go and decide the path that AIESEC needs to take in order to accomplish our vision. If you ask me this is simply where the magic happens, here is where all the AIESECers have the opportunity to deeply understand what the organisation is about and experience it. For more than 5 generations, in AIESEC in Colombia, we have dreamed of bringing this touchpoint to our country and Lead the welcoming of more than 1,000 people to the MAGICAL REALISM. And after all this time, we have finally make this dream come true. We have the honor to host the 69th version of the AIESEC International Congress in 2017, and we want to invite everyone to be a part of it. This is all about having REMARKABLE EXPERIENCE. OFFICE

- One month before of the event we might need you in the city where IC will be hosted (Bogotá or Cartagena). Don’t worry, we can help you to find host and everything.

The National Office is currently located at Bogotá, “Teusaquillo” a very traditional neighborhood in Bogotá. It is fully equipped with desks, printers, phones & Wi-Fi. CC members are requested to bring their own laptops for their CC experience since it is not provided.

We want to see you everytime we can! That’s why we are planning a Team Building of the CC of IC 2017. For that, we would love to have you in Boogotá at the end of the year. Of course, it’s not mandatory, but it would be awesome (and really chevere) to have you!

important! This CC experience requieres the 110% of your effort, and we know you might be interested in become MC 17.18 of AIESEC in Colombia (or other entity). If that’s the case, we’ll let you leave your possition the same day you are elected, if you help us find other person to continue your role as excelent as you!! ;)

GENERAL INFORMATION We are seeking for a highly motivated person looking forward to create, manage and deliver value partnerships with companies in the private sector through their participation in IC Colombia 2017. 2 spots available - 1 for Bogota & 1 for Medellin.

TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES ❖ Ensure IC 2017 financial sustainability. ❖ Do constant market research in order to accurately and effectively position the products from the portfolio against suitable client needs. ❖ Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, mailing or other means of generating interest from potential clients. ❖ Plan approaches and pitches and set up meetings. ❖ Develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives. ❖ Handle objections by clarifying, emphasising agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.

GENERAL INFORMATION For National Government Manager we are seeking a world class seller. Who is not afraid to go to the main public entities of the country to develop partnerships and raise funds. What for? To make the International Congress sustainable, incredible and relevant.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES ❖ Making a constant research for opportunities in the Public Sector. ❖ Proposing strategies to sell IC efficiently. ❖ Developing specific proposals depending on the entity. ❖ Raising 70.000 USD in sponsorships over the period of 9 months. ❖ Building alliances with the most important and strategic public entities. ❖ Reducing costs of the event (special events, venues, logistics).

GENERAL INFORMATION

For Partnership Manager we are looking for a unique profile that can create a new approach strategy. This profile will be the link between the sales managers and the public sector, to improve the management of relations, the investigation, the Lobby strategy and the development of the proposals. The partnerships manager will be a flexible and constant support. What for? To enable the professionalism and dynamism of the partnerships.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

❖ Making a deliverable opportunities research for the public research plan. ❖ Supporting the development of the dynaimic portafolio (define a specific language and strategies for PS –get feedback). ❖ Supporting the sales managers in the development of specific proposals. ❖ Searching for and applying to programs, contests and convocatories of the Public Sector. ❖ Raising 35.000 USD in PS contests and convocatories. ❖ Creating strategical alliances with International Organizations (IOs) and autonomous entities. ❖ Handling relationship with Alumni from PS. ❖ Creating a Lobby plan to improve relationships and sales with all the sectors.

GENERAL INFORMATION For Communications Manager we are seeking for a highly motivated individual to develop and implement a strategic communications plan to promote IC 2017 in the AIESEC Network and to give our delegates all the relevant information about our event, Colombia and other logistics needs.

TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES ❖ Communication Strategy: co-develop, adjust and implement a communication strategy; identify and prioritize needs and opportunities; co-develop an action plan. ❖ Content: co-create the messages for IC 2017 delegates, including: internet, social media platforms, booklets, printed and audiovisual material, internal communications, etc. ❖ Monitoring: support the design and implementation of the helpdesk & the delegate’s feedback system; learn and implement the branding guidelines if needed.

GENERAL INFORMATION We are seeking for a highly motivated individual to manage, provide support and recommendations for the Delegate’s Master Data Base, including the creation of the registration form and the applications follow up. This person will also support the design and implementation of the Check- in and Room Allocation Plan.

TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES ❖ Information Gathering & Management: o Create IC delegate’s registration form and manage the Delegate’s Master Data Base. o Generate and report the delegate’s demographics for different CC and Partners objectives. o Create and report customer surveys. o Support the design and implementation of the helpdesk & feedback system. ❖ Delegate’s Logistics Plans: co-develop and lead the implementation of the Check-in and Room Allocation plans.

GENERAL INFORMATION For Internal Events manager we are looking for a sales person, prepared for being in charged of raising alliances with big companies and managing the relationship with important stakeholders, as venues and providers for the Special Events.

TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES ❖ Finding sponsorships for International Congress. ❖ Managing the relationship with the venues. ❖ Finding collaborators to reduce costs of the production of the Special Events. ❖ Design the delegates experience in each Internal Events with the CCVP SE. ❖ Ensure the logistical success of each Internal Event. ❖ Being logistical support during International Congress. ❖ Finding providers for AI requirements.
