WELCOME TO
CROSSWAY is the most important conference of AIESEC in Colombia. Its main objective is to develop strategies to build a stronger and more relevant AIESEC for Colombia.

What is YSF? Is a forum in which inspiration and collaboration are converted into action. The objective of the event is to bring together young leaders and organizations to create a multisectoral and multi-generational space that promotes deep discussions on global issues. The forum seeks to create an environment where people from different profiles can share ideas and gain new perspectives, designing generational solutions centered on actions for the development of the world, through cases of business success, panel discussion, where it seeks to generate strategies Subject to the UN's sustainable development objectives.

What is Crossway? In this event converging Executive Boards both incoming and outgoing. Starting and closing your experience in the best way; Also is the moment where the AIESEC assembly in Colombia elects its president for the following term.

When is? 16 I 17 I 18 I 19 & 20 December The fee (136 USD) cover accommodation and food during the days of the conference. The venue has all necessary services, including internet access. The conference will take place in Villavicencio ( a city near Bogotá), but your flight must arrive to Bogotá airport, El Dorado International Airport, It is the city´s only airport.

Villavicencio After Youth Speak Forum, still on day 1, we will travel to the venue where the rest of the conference will take place. At villavicencio, a little city 3 hours away from Bogotá, the Wyndham Garden awaits us surrounded by the landscapes of the colombian "LLanos" of flats. Its 133 Kms away, but since Bogotá is in the Andes and Villavicencio is in the flats, the roads is very curvy since it borders the mountains. If you´re not used to curvy trips, bring some pills against dizziness.

Important Inf Time zone: GMT -5 Currency: Colombian peso COP (USD$1 = COP$3.100 approx). The recent inflation on the local currency has made it cheaper for foreigners coming to the country. Official Language Country: Spanish Official Language Conference: Spanish Weather: in Bogotá: 7°C - 25°C. Mainly a cold city, temperature and rain can be very changing! In Villavicencio: around 32°C. Means of transportation The SITP (Integrated Public Transport System), includes the TRANSMILENIO: the mass transport system, which consists of several interconnected bus lines that you can use for about a dollar per trip. Airport Orientation, Arriving & Hosting: The OC Ants oers orientation at the airport ONLY for delegates arriving on december 14 & 15 (Just orientation, not transport to your hotel) and from 8am to 8pm. We recommend to arrive these days. Additionally there is optional and limited hosting for the days prior to the conference (december 14 & 15) and the day the conference ends (december 20). It is limited and therefore you may have to pay a hostal for you stay if you arrive before the conference starts. Study tours are not coordinated by the OC.
Medical Insurance: You must buy an international medical insurance that covers your stay in Colombia or check that your actual medical insurance covers international trips. You must present a document that validates it at the check-in of the conference. We will be selling medical insurance at the check in, but it will only cover the days of the conference (at about USD $ 2.5 per day).
