Child Protection Counselling Services
Specialist trauma focussed counselling services for children and young people and their families, where Family and Community Services has confirmed that the child or young person has been harmed physically, sexually, psychologically or via neglect.
Referrals are received from referring agencies.

CHILD WELLBEING COORDINATOR (CWC)
This is a service to mandatory reporters working within MLHD to provide co-ordination and improve responses to vulnerable children, young people and their families.

Counselling For Priority Populations
The service is there to provide help for specific needs:
• Counselling for people dealing with current or past experiences of domestic violence
• Counselling for those facing challenges with their feelings and thoughts linked to ongoing health conditions
• Support for people connected to the NSW Health SafeStart Program Self-referral is possible t 1800 654 324.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE COUNSELLING (MLHD)
The service is staffed by experienced psychologists, social workers and counsellors. They can offer counselling, advocacy, referrals and support to people dealing with domestic violence, past and present. This support can include working with all age groups and genders.
